Jonah doesn't have any ability to really learn anything about the shrine, but he will dig through the piles of relics and such looking for anything that stands out as being interesting or valuable.


Iron Gods: Iron maps;

While the party looks a way to heal themselves, Jonah goes over the different relics on the pile. They are valuable things, like jewels, gems, or crafts from ancient times. Things the Stormreaders have been collecting for the Saoc dreams. But none are worth for combat.
Not going to give a gp value as you will have no more chance to sell/buy stuff

Now that the area is calm, you see there is a set of doors leading somewhere else here, as well as an inner array of stairs that climbs up to an even higher floor.

It takes a couple of minutes for the party to heal up. Then Adriana checks the door and opens it to see what is there. It turns to be a balcony section that links to the other tower. A set of doors bars access to that second tower.

The group advances through the balcony and opens the doors to the other tower.

H4. Kerakinsi Aerie
Fragments of ancient stone furniture are the only remaining clues of this weathered room’s intended purpose. Clusters of refuse and fetishes litter the floor, some packed together to form crude nests. To the east, a flight of stairs leads downward, while to the west, a hole in the wall allows access to a partially collapsed walkway. A double door to the south stands ajar.

Four winged creatures with streamlined head features sunken, glassy eyes and a circular mouth lined with needle-sharp teeth stand here.

K. nature DC 14:

These are advanced Kerakinsis. Monstrous humanoids native to the windswept coasts and boggy isles of the Sodden Lands. They are known to maneuver gracefully in powerful storms.

They require winds to fly and can discharge bursts of electricity.

Oh, but that's not important right now, not when we've got a school of kerakinsi. Or is it a flock? Swarm? Anyway, don't try to shock them or we'll get more sound bursts like that. They're kinda lightweight, so they don't have a lot of momentum to deal with, but that means you can counteract it by moving into their attack rather than away. Yes, it's counterintuitive, it's a physics thing, I'd be happy to show you the diagrams and equations later." One long arm whips an equally-long whip past Tewa towards the fish-person in the lead.

Used to fight with flying birds and dinosaurs in the jungles, Magdi endures the sonic burst and counteracts calling the spirits of battle to help the party.

Meanwhile, Tonny remembers lessons from a now distant past, and comes up with a new strategy to give the party and opportune advantage. Then he lashes up with his whip forcing the enemy closer to Tewa.

The yellow kerakinsi jumps out of the balcony and flies around gaining the back of the party and attacking Jonah!

Magdi winces as the electricity jolts through him, searing agony rippling along his muscles. Clenching his teeth, he fights off the worst of it and pushes away the powerful thunderclap. With a scowl, he calls upon the power of the spirits of the waves to blast the yellow-lined karakinsi with a torrent of icy water.
That's the Fluid Mastery Supernatural ability, not any spells.

Cold Damage, Reflex DC 14 for half: 4d4 ⇒ (4, 2, 4, 1) = 11 It also pushes the target back 5 feet - though it can't do that since it's up against a wall. Not sure if that has rules or not?

Fragments of ancient stone furniture are the only remaining clues of this weathered room’s intended purpose. Clusters of refuse and fetishes litter the floor, some packed together to form crude nests. To the east, a flight of stairs leads downward, while to the west, a hole in the wall allows access to a partially collapsed walkway. A double door to the south stands ajar.

"It seems the stairs here wind down here. The last remaining path are the stairs up in the main tower" Adriana points at the room back where the lightning elemental appeared.

Magdi and Jonah ready themselves, as does Adriana casting blade of flame and divine favor, then the group takes the stairs to the last floor of the tower.

H7. Observatory
A complex telescope made of different types of metal and crystal stands in the center of the room, its central lens mounted on a massive swiveling gimbal. To the south, a flight of stairs descends, while several low stone benches sit near the walls. These walls, as well as the domed ceiling above, are covered with spiraling circles of runes that shimmer and waver with energy—now and then, the walls seem to fade from view to provide glimpses of the world outside.

The coven of Stormreaders awaits here, awaiting the heroes to make it upstairs.

The first one in line is a creature with knots of dark, moldering hair that spill over the features of this sickly, thin, green-skinned crone.

Orleva is a green hag.

The second has hair like rotting seaweed draping over her loose, algae-colored skin that sags off her starved frame.

K. nature DC 14:

Vorysa is a sea hag.

The last one has hair, claws, and teeth that crackle with sparks of electricity. Her windswept hair billows up from her brow like a thunderhead.

K. nature DC 17:

Byurka is the most powerful of the coven and she is a storm hag.

This last one speaks as sparks of electricity start to arc from hand to hand "Ah! The foreign meddlers that have been spoiling our dreams. Right, you arrive in due time to see this turn into your worst nightmare!"

Magdi's studies of nature pay off as he quickly understands what kind of hags the group is facing. With a swift gesture and some magic words, he makes Jonah's arrows take a specially sharp edge.

While he takes aim, his wolf jumps over Orleva, but the hag moves her right foot just in time for the jaws to snap only in the air.

"Let's overwhelm them before they can use their magic on us then!" Adriana swiftly moves in between their ranks while they are still off guard, and calling for judgment slices with her scimitar of pure fire "Dawnflower, burn to ashes the tormentors or Lirgen!"

Tonny does something heroic!

"We should have sent our worst tempests over you when you first arrived to the region!" the hags then start to sign together in a cacophony of vile words that echo against the walls of the observatory.

The sea hag looks at Tewa, and her eyes shine with an evil shimmering. The sailor feels a gnawing sense of impending doom plaguing her, and getting staggered as strange nebulous distress takes her.
@Tewa, Will DC 17 or become staggered for as long as the curse lasts, this is a fear, mind-affecting effect (can reroll every day)

Also, he horrific aspect of the sea hag takes everyone in the tower, including the wolf. She is so despicable ugly, that it weakens your inner desire to keep fighting.

Lastly, the storm hag starts to cast, and tendrils of lightning forming in between her hands, ready to shock the party.

Magdi's call is answered by the power of the storm spirits who are fed up of the Stormreaders control of the weather. Pushed by them, the party finds their weapons strike faster and more powerfully!

Jonah places bolt after bolt on the storm hag's chest, one of them pretty close to the neck. The hag bleeds profusely with Magdi's edge enhancement and battle spirit.

The wolf sniffs the hag as she passes by, but he bites just the air anyway.

Tewa lands her heavy blade on the storm hag breaking its clavicle, the battle spirits in the room raging around her and almost staggering the hag in total pain.

The sailor warrioress continues her swing in a cleaving arc that hits the other hag's head as well!

Tonny drinks an extract that mutates his eyes that turn silvery. The half-elf immediately points the position of the green hag for the warriors "She is there! Careful Tewa! At your back!"

And snaps at it with his whip, trying to help Tewa pinpoint her.

The flame tongue cuts through the skin of the sea hag, burning it until the monster falls to the ground under the stern gaze of the Sarenrite.

Byurka, with the bloody bolts still sticking on her chest, bleeds a bit more, just enough that she faints and falls to the ground unable to keep up.

Vorysa, a craven at heart, knows when she is cornered. Hoping to bring down at least one of the heroes to stand a chance for a escape. She suddenly materializes slashing with her claws at Tewa's back "Die meddlers! Die!"

Though she scrapes all through Tewa's back, the warrioress' armor does not expose any vital point, and barely takes a chunk of divine vitality without real harm.

The last hag is left alone and exposed now she is out of invisibility. Deprived of the support from the more dangerous members of the coven.

Magdi follows Jonah, tapping one of his bolts as he chants a spell. "Hit any of them, but ideally the one that fights with her claws!" He says. "It'll weaken her resistance to spells."

Casting splinter spell resistance on one of Jonah's projectiles. Hopefully I can follow it up with hollow blades, so she doesn't hit as hard.
