"Well, if its these cursed seas what be causin' the problem, then we should sail beyond them." Hamish exclaims, as Bombshell continues to bleed, despite the healing attempts of the others.

"Fortify the ram, lads!" He cries. "We're punching our way through this blockade!"

Hamish casts a spell, hastening the movements of everyone.

Cast haste, getting everyone but Kasimir and the gnome lady...

The Gull airwalks up to the wall of stone, preparing to bust its way through.

will not happen 'til next round... giving someone time to board, if they want a ride... or at least be on the front line... they will likely have to delay to line up init with the boat.
Note: have a +18 on the attempt (turns out I get a +4 just for being size large!), so a just need a 8 or higher! Could make the boat bigger to increase the odds... but the tunnel is not quite that large =)

The temple quiets for the moment as the Gull moves to the barricade, preparing to see what is beyond it.

Kasimir reaches for a scroll for a second, with a frown upon his face. He then nods, and pulls an entire tome from his Haversack. This ancient volume is a nearly complete copy of The Book of the Damned , and even a high-ranking priest of Asmodeus has to steel himself against its power.

"The flotilla of evil shall not stop the finest ship in the Andoran fleet, for Besmara herself watches o'er us!"

He casts protection from evil on the gull

I am still waiting to see what happens to The Gull before posting. Crazy surprised me. I thought he was going to nuke these guys. I still plan on acting before Red. Does my character see the Soul Eater and if so can I make knowledge checks?

Edit- Are characters within reach of the Gull (mine is) still receiving the benefits from Greater Shield Ally? It might help to give a clue as to what is happening.

Edit2 - Are there any windows in this place and/or the dome of the main ceiling look easy to smash out? I am just thinking if we noticed other possible exits.

Table Maps | Oathbreakers Die | Passing the Torch

Bombshell moves down to Eylysia, who begins casting her own spells once the alchemist is in reach. The Gull surges forward, smashing the stone wall to pieces and revealing the hall ahead. Ducking the flying stone rubble are another of the masked assassins and a second soul eater, blades and claws at the ready.

As the Gull attempts to sail over their heads, they seem to climb an invisible wave, the bow rising sharply before the forward movement stalls. At the other end of the temples entrance stands an elven woman in red robes and armor, unmasked. Her solid red eyes stare at the party with cold fury. Accompanying her are four more assassins, flanking her like an honor guard.

Whisper recalls the lore of the soul eater, how each swipe of its claws can tear away its victims will (Wisdom damage) to the point it is rendered helpless, where it can then devour the soul of the target, killing it outright. Such victims cannot be restored to life without powerful magic unless the soul eater is killed quickly while still nearby. They can also unerringly locate a target named by their summoner wherever they are on the plane, but if such a target is named and killed, the soul eater returns to the summoner and attacks.

As the Seaward Gull hits the invisible wave, the crew gets tossed about the deck. Cries of shallows and underwater shoals go up, and the depth sounders immediately go back to work on the front of the boat.

A moment later, the elven woman sends multiple spells to assault the eidolon, and the crew fall to their knees, hands to their heads, as they try to resist the compulsions!

"Sirens!" One yells, the first to recover. Immediately, the rest of the sailors start shoving things in their ears, as if to protect themselves from a siren song only they appear to hear. Strangely, it seems to be enough, as they slowly start to recovery, manning their stations once more.

"Cap'n... there be shoals aplenty beneath the waters, and vile temptresses on the rocks ahead trying to lure us onto them!" Mr. Phips calls to Hamish.

"Stand fast men!" Hamish calls back. "No singing harlots will be the end o' us!"

He pauses for a moment, frowning, then adds with a grin. "Well, not without charging us coins first! Har!"

Yuri's current AC is 31 (including the +2 for being within 10' of the Gull), and foes get +4 to hit and dmg against him.

If DR matters, note that Yuri's weapons count as +3 for the purpose of overcoming DR, not +5 (due the Greater Magic Weapon FAQ).

don't forget to pick a blessing of fervor effect Yuri. Perhaps the AC bonus one this round. =)

Yuri thwacks the soul eater hard in its smokey form, but it remains standing.

"Ignore the idiot and deal with that mud." Saviya commands the outsider.

I missed that it had been cast (are you sure you aren't thinking of haste?) but unfortunately if it was I'll have to save against it:

Fort save vs BoFervor: 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (4) + 23 = 27

Hmm... actually, you're right, I'm thinking another PC in a different game, oops! It was just haste, which you already saved against!

Kasimir circles upward until he can see the enemy forces. Smiling, he recalls that he is still speaking in tongues like the prophets of old. He then issues a greater command in the enemies’ native language (limit of n=13)

“Flee! “ will save dc = 24,
staggered for one round on success, obey for 13 rounds on failure

(OOC: dropping a heal spell for this, I’m allowed to trade down)

Table Maps | Oathbreakers Die | Passing the Torch

Will Save Yellow: 1d20 ⇒ 1
Will Save Purple: 1d20 ⇒ 4
Will Save Saviya: 1d20 ⇒ 18

Eylysia casts a quick cure spell upon Bombshell, the infernal abeyance of the mantis gods power allowing the bloody wound to close.

Cure Critical Wounds: 4d8 + 13 ⇒ (7, 6, 5, 1) + 13 = 32

Kasimir feels his spell take hold, but as the two minions turn to flee, they stop. The soul eater reaches out to clear the mud from the assassin, who completes his turn to face the party again.

Alright, depending on Omrax's rolls this could go a couple ways.

Table Maps | Oathbreakers Die | Passing the Torch

Unfortunately not, as it's that weird ruling of indirect vs direct control. It's not a dominate where she tells you what to do, it's a compulsion that makes you feel a certain way.

ok hopefully not missing something else...

gm:
.
Base damage +4 STR
+5 weapon with bond
+15 smite with bracelet (assuming evil otherwise not)
+8 power attack
.

ok you were right it was +2 too high. I was able to adjust above.
I had Bof or bard that someone mentioned but not really cast. Ac is 6 higher vs foe

Table Maps | Oathbreakers Die | Passing the Torch

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (12) + 20 = 32

As Omrax resists the commands of the priestess, her minions move to engage the paladin. Dancing around the Pathfinders, the assassin narrowly avoids retaliation from Yuri and Omrax, but the Gull finds an opportunity to fire cannons. Unless Yuri and Omrax have CMD bonuses not calculated in their tag line.

Sawtooth Sabre on Omrax: 1d20 + 16 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 16 + 2 = 26

Unfortunately for the assassin, Omrax's armor is too strong to pierce. In retaliation, the paladin strikes a heavenly smite against his foe, rocking the figure back!

Rest of the party is up! Omrax, can you break down that crit damage? It seems high.
