Radagast attempts to break free of the paralysis, but the supernatural despair has a strong hold.

Seiran identifies nothing new from the undead since their last encounter as his magic sears the undead. Urktar's spear just falls short of landing on the undead but he is able to keep moving in the face of both of the undead.

Hortensia is able to land a pair of blows, one on each of the undead as one attempts to charge past her polearm and Tere is able to score a shot against the undead as well.

Tere takes down the last of this undead surge. The undead crumbles to dirt and glowing red threads as it seals another of the rifts.

Yet more fragments of lingering soul fibers are left lingering in the area. Seiran believes that these fragments could be useful components in repairing the tapestry, likely when the attacks from undead and invaders are halted.

You can make another Knowledge (arcana or planes) or Spellcraft check as group to collect more of these components.

The party has a chance to heal before going into the next combat, whether that is staying here or going to fight in another area. I'll have a chance to set that up tomorrow.

Seiran trusted in his magical protections to guard him from all the likely attacks coming against him as he first moved closer and then past the drow to give any of his other allies to flank.

Live Exploration Extreme Maps

The combined assault from Seiran and Radagast takes down the final enemy allowing you to secure the area.

With the invaders from the astral plane falling back, the full power of the society is returning to the unsealed rifts within the heart of the tapestry and put an end to the incursion of undead spawning from the planes failing structure.

You are able to find a small amount of magical gear on the drow that might prove useful and have a chance to heal yourselves as you return back to the fight against the undead.

Among other alchemical and mundane, but well crafted gear among the drow you find two scrolls of cure moderate wounds, two scrolls of cure serious wounds, five magical potions, and three heavy repeating crossbows. Inside the crossbows some of the bolts carry the taint of some foul poison, but three of the bolts in total radiate magic and feel cool to the touch.

After you resolve the last hostile channel energy you can all heal as you see fit on the way back. It will take about 10 minutes to make the trip.

As you reenter the ruins you find the now familiar site of more undead, much like those you fought before, despite the number of battles you have fought with them in your short time within the tapestry have not removed the inherit paralyzing despair they radiate as you get closer.

It is much clearer after the many fights that these undead are made from the tapestry itself and are able to move through it like you move through air. While their destruction hasn't restored the area, it has slowed the degradation substantially.
