Second Seekers (Jadnura)

820-707 Male Skittermander Outlaw Xenodruid Mystic 2 | SP 12/12 HP 14/14 | RP 4/4 | EAC 15; KAC 15 | Fort +0; Ref +3; Will +6 | Init: +3 | Perc: +7, SM: +8 | Speed 30ft | Hyper 1/1 | Spells: 1st 3/3 | Active conditions: None.

Xeeter smiles. "You're friends are out here! Kieu Lan! Kieu Si! We found your buddy!"

Then Xeeter turns back to the alien. "What would you like to be called? I am Xeeter. Would you like to come back with us to the Lorespire? The problem eating here is that we're on the Master of Stars, a starship with limited power. That's why the lights keep flashing on and off. If we get you down to the Lorespire on Absalom Station, we can use the unlimited energy of the Starstone. It's an all you can eat buffet! Then you can learn about us, and we can learn about you, and maybe get you a comfy place to sleep? And afterwards maybe you can become a Starfinder if you want. Or do something else."

Exo-Guardians

Male LN dwarf priest of Talavet mechanic 2 | SP 14 HP 18 | RP 3 | EAC 12; KAC 15 | Fort +4; Ref +3; Will +1; +2 vs. poisons, spells, and spell-like abilities | Init: +0 | Perc: +6, SM: +1, darkvision 60ft. | Speed 20ft | combat tracking

Guli makes a noncommittal grunt at the site of the apparently innocent creature and slings his weapon over his shoulder. He looks around for anything else that can be repaired.

Honorbound Emissaries

The creature's only reply is a rumbling tummy. "Ermmm....hungry now. You have power? I just want to take a nap..."

You could attempt an Engineering, Life Science, or Medicine check to feed this little guy, or if you have some portable form of power, that would probably also be enough to satisfy his hunger and get him to go back to bed.
If you have other questions, you can also always contact Fitch on your comms!

Exo-Guardians

"Dr. Diralynn Houndstooth" Female CG dwarf mercenary mystic 2 | SP 11/14 HP 18/18 | RP 2/3 | EAC 16; KAC 18 | Fort +1; Ref +2; Will +4 (+2 vs poisons, spells, SLAs) | Init: +2 | Perc: +7, SM: +7; darkvision 60ft | Speed 20ft | CHealing Touch 1/1 | Spells: 1st 2/3 | Active conditions: None.

"What kind of thing do you eat?" Diralynn falls back on her experience in the military treating all kinds of aliens.

MEdicine: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26

Exo-Guardians

Zapp nods sagely as he tries to help feed the creature. "Naps are an important part of the workday for all, Starfinders included."

Engineering: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8

Second Seekers (Jadnura)

820-707 Male Skittermander Outlaw Xenodruid Mystic 2 | SP 12/12 HP 14/14 | RP 4/4 | EAC 15; KAC 15 | Fort +0; Ref +3; Will +6 | Init: +3 | Perc: +7, SM: +8 | Speed 30ft | Hyper 1/1 | Spells: 1st 3/3 | Active conditions: None.

Life Science: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22

Xeeter looks around to the rest of you. "Does anyone have a battery that we could give him? Otherwise, we should probably call Fitch!"

Honorbound Emissaries

Zapp is at a bit of loss, though he does affirm the creature's need for a siesta. Diralynn and Xeeter quickly deduce, however, that feeding the creature some form of energy, whether from the ship or a standard battery, would likely satisfy the creature's hunger enough to lure it back to sleep so it can properly be returned to stasis before being fully welcomed to Absalom Station.

Honorbound Emissaries

I need one more person to either make me one of those skill checks (Engineering, Life Science, or Medicine, or to feed this little guy a battery. Any takers?

Exo-Guardians

"Dr. Diralynn Houndstooth" Female CG dwarf mercenary mystic 2 | SP 11/14 HP 18/18 | RP 2/3 | EAC 16; KAC 18 | Fort +1; Ref +2; Will +4 (+2 vs poisons, spells, SLAs) | Init: +2 | Perc: +7, SM: +7; darkvision 60ft | Speed 20ft | CHealing Touch 1/1 | Spells: 1st 2/3 | Active conditions: None.

Diralynn pulls a spare battery from her pack. ”Here you go, little critter! Can you eat that?”

Honorbound Emissaries

The creature greedily snatched the battery from Diralynn, opens its mouth wide, and two tongue-like appendages emerge from inside to connect to the battery's terminals. The current of electricity visibly flows along these conduits into the creature, and it soon has drained the battery of its power. With a satisfied sigh, the creature turns itself around on the desk a few times before nestling down and dozing off.

Kieu Si and Kieu Lan run into the hazy room just as the little creature is falling asleep. "Oh good, you found him! And he went to sleep too! We should put him to bed, then we can go back, now that our mission's done."

The children dutifully help you with the creature, finding a new stasis pod to contain it until the Society is ready to introduce the creature to the Station, then follow you as you make your way to the bridge to deliver the good news to Fitch. By the time you arrive, Fitch is already there waiting, along with a human man with a striking resemblance to the kids you met. "Kieu Si! Kieu Lan! You're both alright," the man exclaims, kneeling down and opening his arms toward them.

The kids run in as they shout excitedly, "Daddy! We met a lot of new friends today. Just wait until we tell you about it."

The children's father assures them that he's excited to hear all about it over dinner, then stands up and addresses you all. "Thank you all for finding my kids and getting them back here safely. I don't know what I would've done if they had gotten hurt. Here, have this. It's not much, but I think you deserve something precious after you saved something precious for me." He pulls a ring off of a chain that had been hanging around his neck and hands it to you before leading the children out of the deck with a final farewell to Fitch and your team.

He gives you a Mk. 1 Ring of Resistance

Fitch, the ysoki leader of the Wayfinders, steps up next. "Kieu Kein's had a hard go lately, but you all did some good work making sure things didn't get any worse for him. Good work. Now! Speaking of work, what happened down there? I can't imagine a couple kids were enough to bring down the power on all of E-deck!"

After explaining about the creature you encountered, the faction leader lets out a low whistle. "Well that is good work! Good, so first thing's first, we'll get a team of engineers back into E-Deck to fix up any damage done. Meanwhile, I think I'll have to turn the alien over to some experts so we can learn more of the its language and culture." The ysoki pats you on the back and congratulates you, "Well done everyone. The Wayfinders would be glad to have you." She hands the team a credstick with 400 credits on it. "Good work deserves good pay, right?"

You depart from the Master of Stars as a team and return to the docks of Absalom Station. You comm units ring before you even land, however, as Guidance, the Society intelligence summons you back to the Lorespire Complex. The intelligence once again presents itself in a holographic form—this time taking on the appearance of a wizened male korasha lashunta—to congratulate you on your successful missions. It goes on to state that in the aftermath of the Scoured Stars incident, the Society needs skilled agents more than ever, and that it sees potential in you as you start your new careers as Starfinder field agents.

Mission complete! Congratulations, Starfinders!
