Ktasha moves past Jordun, and slashes at purple with her blade. Her curveblade cuts deeply into his shoulder, catching in pauldron at the last moment. No crit He still stands, looking angry at the large bird-people.

The woman tries to move again. She successfully breaks free, and pulls her longspear as she moves up. She is then tangled up with the vines once more.

As soon as Wrex is in position, he takes a slash at the man, using the distraction afforded by his companion to strike at his vulnerable opponent.

Sunlight Under Stone's attack, while vehement, misses green.

Sven moves by green, attracting the attention of green's battle axe. However, the thug is not able to land the blow.

Keeping up a steady stream of staves, Chamius takes a quick step left and tries to trip the green Ulfen.

Chamius goes all "Indiana Jones" on green, but his whip manages to grab nothing but grass.

Bon Jon decides to go a different direction, and manages to hit purple with his initial blow, but then decides that Jordun and Chamius must have known something he didn't and punches air. However, that was still enough to drop purple.

Wrex runs up, and then Sven swings at green! His blade easily hits. Then Wrex does his thing, leaving green a bit discombobulated.

Chamius has another go at tripping green, but has to drop his whip to keep from being pulled off balance himself. The irony of the contrast between that and his staves is not lost on him.

Seeing Ktasha's wounds, Jordun lets the enhanced form end, slipping back into his normal size away from the foes. Speaking prayers to Erastil he steps up to touch her shoulder.

Quick bot update from Jordun.

Seeing the assailants down and her wounds mostly closed, Ktasha flicks her hand to Grunt again. ”Come Grunt, this way” pointing back to the rest of the party. Setting Grunt to Guard as they move back to the center of the entangle edge.

Moving with her companion, she levels her blade at the leader still working through the tangled vegetation.

The woman, once again, attempts to get free, swearing to high hell in skald the entire time. She gets free, but is still within the area of the vines, her longspear threating 10' away from her.

K'tasha clicks her beak together sharply, inclining her head towards Jordun,"Great Thanks.." she then focuses on her enemies, realizing that her allies have the last ulfen warrior in hand. Looking towards the woman in the greenery K'tasha nods to herself, speaking arcane words that cause the grass to glow briefly and then recede... Dismissing the Entangle spell "Grunt! Attack!" Ktasha gestures towards the woman.

Grunt hisses at the command, clicking his mouth together before streaking forward, large slashing talons at the ready. He moves forward 15 feet, then reaches out with his maw to bite the woman.

The raptor's bite connects with a fleshy portion of the womans body, snapping down then releasing with a quick hiss.

As the echoes of the boulder's passage die away, Chamius stops his inspirational poetry and shakes his head. "I'm not at all sure that she's in any condition to answer our questions, hey?"

If she survived that, Bon Jon gives chase. 40' movement speed and Dragon Style allows him to run through difficult terrain.

There will be explaining to do, as the stone thrown by Sunlight explodes the woman’s head as she was running into town. The man remaining up looks ... concerned.

Really? Sunlight missed with a 17 before, so I didn't think the crit would confirm. Oops.

Sven and Wrex are up?!

Down! Sven commands Wrex, not wanting to totally eviscerate the last man in case the party can get information from him. Please just stop, we don't want to kill you! Sven pleads with the man while he gets into flanking position with Bon Jon and takes a (hopefully incapacitating) swing at the man.

Sven takes a solid whack at the man, striking him hard. The Ulfen looks concerned about what Sven told him... glances back at his late boss, and drops his axe.

For the sum of 50 gold crowns, you and your mercenaries are to watch Rognvald Skagni’s residence on the edge of town for two months. Ignore looters or petty thieves—instead watch for Pathfinders, an d if you see them, kill them. Any in your crew who can prove to me they dealt the killing blow on those murderous demons earns a 100 gold crown bonus.

Despite his clearly non-human appearance, Sven does his best to ingratiate himself with the locals and make them more amenable to his comrades investigations about the persons of interest.

The first person that Chamius is able to locate that might have any information. Arvida Bergthor is a female Ulfen saga scholar, standing nearly 6.5 feet tall. She is skinny as a spear, and her hair is dirty and tousled. She claims to be writing the greatest saga that the Land of the Linnorm Kings has ever heard, though she admits that she lost her notes a fortnight ago.

She seems hesitant to reveal her information.
