One more day of work then I'm hopping on a cruise ship for 9 nights in the South Pacific. It's going to be a well-needed break, but also its my opportunity to have a look at the ship's facilities as I am hosting PaizoCon South-Pacific 2020 onboard the same ship at the end of the year.

Looking forward to my favourite boulangerie in Noumea, their croissants are the best you can get :)

How long before we seek a replacement GM? If we do want a replacement I have had an offer from GM Otha, who has played numerous tables with Batpony and myself.

I already got a volunteer replacement in Otha. I suggest that we wait till Sunday to see if our original GM pops up, then I'll ask GM Otha to take over.

Hi everyone. Supervillan pm’ed me and said GM Elan Morin still hasn’t posted; he’s GM’ed for me several times before, and I for him a time or two, and he’d never disappeared in any of those so I hope he’s OK...

If there are no objections, I’ll step in as GM and get y’all home on this one. I haven’t GM’ed it before but I did have a PC that ran through this trilogy a year or so ago so I’m familiar with it. Let me catch up a bit on where y’all are at, and I’ll try to start getting you back on track by tomorrow evening...

I get off this cruise ship in a couple of days and straight back to work. I’ll know by Friday if I’m going to be redeployed.

So...could someone provide me with a recap of what's going on right now? I feel like I should be able to help, but I don't entirely get it.

The immediate problem would seem to be opening these doors that are tied to the stone hammers in some way.

Apart from that, explore ancient dwarven ruins and watch out for rust monsters.

To progress further, you basically have to figure out the puzzle of the hammers...Kiboko's next to last in-game post, along with the two inscriptions he discovered (Player Handouts 1&2), put you on the right track...discovering the hammers' name/dwarven god, which Takahiro and Ahn's religion checks identify, should help with the order of things, so to speak...

What about the still-hidden third inscription?

we don't need a third. the puzzle is solved by simple elimination. will post in gameplay shortly if nobody beats me to it :)

I do hope that the last few encounters haven't felt too much like the Kiboko show folks. I don't mean to hog the spotlight and I apologise if I have done so. Slightly awkward being the only dwarvish speaker, and I suppose I've just been keen to finally complete the trilogy after we got bogged down and then lost our GM.

I mean, I could easily have learned Dwarven by now, but instead I chose highfalutin magical languages, because that's how I roll (that, and Season 8 had us all headed for the Elemental Planes).

For what it's worth, I was in a bit of a rush earlier - I meant to go after the one that was already wounded, and failed to process which one that was.

Craft (Cartography), Assistant: 1d20 + 28 ⇒ (7) + 28 = 35

survival (hunting lodge): 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (5) + 15 = 20

Kiboko is on slow xp track for this scenario - it takes him to level 10 exactly. Which means he can finally be a large raging hippo alongside Mvumbu :)
