The lashunta Kasatha nods.
"Oh, yeah, this place is owned by the Downside Kings. People think it makes them tough to come here." The kasatha scoffs.
"They don't really hang out here, but theres usually a few in the back."
After Jax makes his announcement:
"Wait, I don't--" one of the bartenders begins.
"Wooo!" dozens of dancers rush the bar. Some of the confused bartenders start arguing that there is no sale, some are just going with it.
Volter replies to the Kasatha, "Oh really, what would they be doing in the back of a night club, private party for VIPs?"

The system here is pretty rudimentary. You easily hack your way in.
There's not much to it. There's a working camera system, with four cameras giving different views of the main bar area. There's no view outside, or of any other rooms however.
The climate control, lights, and a PA system can also be controlled here.

Jax keeps up the ruse.
Jax begins to lay out glasses and pours the drinks out respectively.
Come on bar keeps! Give them a show!
Jax begins performing some drink tricks, tossing glasses and mixing drinks for the crowd to witness in hopes of drawing the largest crowd and earning the most sales.

Volter replies to the Kasatha, "That doesn't sound so bad, how much do I owe you for the drink?"
Tiktik is going to loop the feed so anyone watching won't notice the massive distraction (yet).

Volter panics a little when they hear Tiktik say ambush and telepathically reaches out to them, "Don't do anything to the system just yet, there's no need for an ambush. I just learned something that can get us information."
Tiktik got excited when he realized his telepathic powers had returned.
He focused very hard on making his thoughts heard, What did you find out? Don’t worry we’re just going to ambush the Downside Kings, you know, the bad guys, the murderers. It’s okay, we’ll keep you safe.

{Dont engage just yet. We know what's waiting for us back there thanks to what I found out and it looks like Volter is still digging up some info. If there is a possibility, maybe we can send a receptionist back there with drugged drinks to knock out, if not weaken the thugs in back.
If the heat were to be cranked up back there, afterwards, it would force them to come out here out of their turf and into our favor. We can catch them by surprise that way and they wont know what hit them. So I say hold off for now until we are ready to execute our plan.}
Volter tells Tiktik,"I understand that they are murderers but we still don't know who hired them to push for the giving up of the drift rock or why they may have wanted to kill Kreel or even if they were responsible for killing Kreel. We need their information, not to just murder them in the name of revenge or else Kreel died for nothing. We need to talk to them first at the very least."
We found out earlier that Astral Extractions, that big evil corporation, hired these guys to bully the Hardscrabble Collective into selling that giant space rock docked outside the space station. And the Level 21 Crew got hired by the Hardscrabble guys to protect themselves. So they have like a gang war over fighting on behalf of the two companies that are fighting over the rock thingy. The Level 21 crew has a reputation for looking out for their neighborhood and not usually resorting to violence. Whereas the Downside Kings are notorious for being ruthless.
But I don't mind taking these guys prisoner. If we can catch them offguard, they might surrender to us and then we can ask 'em whatever we want.
Volter replies, "I'm trying to avoid bloodshed here. I just learned they gamble in the backroom. We could challenge them in a game for their information. If we can't do that then let's take them prisoner but don't kill them."
Tiktik was sounded like a small child as he replied to Volter, Why?
Volter replies, "Because the world does not run on absolutes. Whatever it is they have done should not be answered by the immediate shot of a pistol. If we act as judge, jury and executioner we learn nothing and we are no better than them. We should learn what they know and they should answer to the community for their actions."
But I thought we were heroes now? Heroes kill bad guys. Otherwise bad guys kill good people. I don't want good people to die. You sound like the Abadar guys. They call me an outlaw and don't care what happens to me.
Volter replies to Tiktik, "We are not heroes and killing bad guys is not what people do and I don't know anything about the Abadar guys to reply to that statement. A hero would try to set things right. We are trying to get answers for Kreel's death and blindly killing people who may not have killed Kreel in that fire fight wouldn't set things right. Getting what they know and bringing them to the Starfinder Society to answer for their comrade's death if they are responsible would be a step in the direction of setting things right."
But if we use surprise, it is much more likely that none of us get hurt. ...And makes it easier to try not to kill them I guess. Right now they don't know we are here or that we are coming. If we knock and try your gambling idea we lose our advantage. And what makes you think we can beat guys who gamble all day long? ...Oooh unless they are playing Doot Doot Magic Flute on competitive mode, then me and B-Bop can mop the floor with them!
All we have to do is ambush them and knock them out. The same I did to the guys outside. Also roughing them should get them to talk faster.
Volter say to Tiktik, "If we ambush them and put them on edge they'll be less forthcoming with their information and I can only dig into minds so far to know the truth. If we play on their level we can get more out of them,"
Bepo gets up from his seat and starts to move closer to the door to the backroom but isn't going to do anything yet.

Jax is starting to get a little restless and looks around the bar for the possibility of there being another Pahtra in the crowd, specifically a female Pahtra. As he jumps over the counter he yells over at B-bop,Hey B-bop! Man the bar! I gotta bust a move and mingle with the crowd!
I sure hope there is another Pahtra in here!
The young ysoki's shoulders slumped visibly as he replied to his new android bestie.
Alright. Nobody's ever asked me that nicely before. And friends help friends, so I will help you! But I'm gonna be super sad if this gets anyone killed--anyone I like that is. I am not sure about the talking up his prowess to other bartenders idea though, since I think all the real bartenders left awhile ago. That's B-Bop boogeying down on the bar. Also I think that the bosses are gonna be pretty mad at us for giving away all the free booze.

<If there are any bar tenders around, they've more than likely left due to lack of business since I believe B-bop and I have stollen the crowd. Free booze is free booze! As for your idea, I too think killing this lot would be fun but also unproductive. That said, we dont need to question the guards for the boss is all that matters. So I have a counter offer.
I'll go in with a round of drinks, on the house. If no shots are fired, I'll proceed by taking interest in their game. I'm going to get these guys drunk so I'll need a water filled bottle labeled Vodka and just act drunk so not to cause suspicion. That said, after about 10 to 20 minutes, blast the heat in there. Should force them to you guys. If they stand down, we take them prisoner and now their boss will be left alone and likely stand down. If they resist, they'll most likely die and their boss will be left alone and likely stand down.
Before all that goes down, I'll try and dig as much as I can about Nadaz before you turn up the heat.
Also, as a side note, Nadaz has a Vesk bodyguard and Yisoki Mystic with her in the office, adjacent to the staff room. If I cant separate those two from Nadaz, I'm certain a fight will break out.
In either case, I'll signal you with "Now it's time I turn up the heat!" and you turn up the heat! Sound good?>

<All fun and games. I'm just giving 'em a hard time. Guess it's my way of saying I do like the guy. If I dont poke fun at someone every now and then, it's a strong sign I dont care for the individual. I'm there for my friends when they need me most but if they make a fool of themselves, they better believe I'll not let them live it down, ha ha ha.

Jax gathers all the drinks he could with a few glasses and the strongest stuff he could find, as well as a fake bottle of vodka for himself making sure to mark it so not to mix it with the other bottle of vodka.
Jax makes his way to the doors and stops for a moment to mutter something to himself. Well, this is it. If you can hear me Besmara, give me the courage to be reckless, take the biggest of risks for the most glory and should I fall this day, may I join on your voyage in the stars aboard the Starwraith.
Jax draws an 'X' across his chest and holds his fist against it to resemble a skull.
Jax presses his back to the door to make his way in. You guys thirsty? I was sent back here to give you lot a fresh round and I made sure to bring the good stuff. Who wants one!? Jax says with a huge grin on his face.

This large storeroom is filled with supplies for the bar outside, including bottles of hard alcohol, kegs of beer, and boxes of food and
recreational stimulants. One corner holds amplifiers, musical
instruments, and costumes for the club’s entertainers. A single door stands in the north wall.
There are four Downside Kings sitting at the table here, playing cards.
"Hey, can't you read the sign? Staff only! Get outta here!"
