It's a little early but I finally got my work schedule for the month and wanted to note the following now:

I'll be out of town at a convention April 13th & 14th. Given the nature of conventions I likely won't be checking in or posting at all except for maybe quick notes in Discussion if necessary.

I'll also be out of town April 22nd - April 24th. For this I will have my chromebook and should be able to check in and make some posts in the evenings before bed.

Folks, I need to get a sense of what you'd like to get out of this scenario.
You have enough evidence to proceed with your mission.
However, there is more to explore and encounters with other interesting denizens of Dis to experience, if you're enjoying yourselves. This not an evergreen scenario, so this might be your only chance to play this scenario.
We won't adjust the in-game time constraint (48 hrs to get in and out), and you will need to rest, but we should be able to do everything possible here, if you'd like.

Complete as much as possible, or start heading for the conclusion now?

To clarify my request for input about how much of the scenario you'd like to pursue, it's a sandbox. The trigger in a face-to-face session is time-based to ensure a table finishes within the usual 4.5hr window.
We don't need to worry about that time constraint--unless a player has a PC that's scheduled to start another scenario right away.
We have the opportunity to explore virtually every location, provided we can do it within the 48hr in-game time limit that Zarta gave the party.

I misstated Artinean Tecbright's offer: You can sell the wine to him for 100 times the amount you'd get for it selling it back home. So fine wine normally costs 10gp. You could normally sell it for 5gp. You can sell them to the gnome for 500gp each, or 1000gp for both.

I have +13 Linguistics, so it'd be 21 with the planar penalty and fluency in Infernal. (-4+2)

However, is there any penalty for failure? Couldn't Erlathan conceivably spend as long as he needed to trying to understand those documents (ie, take 20)?

Each PC (as well as Riddywhipple) can attempt either or both checks. If it's an attempt to Aid Another, just let me know. Each check takes about a minute of time. The passage of time would effect any buffs/effects on the PCs.

Please roll for boons.

Roll a d20; on a 19 or 20 you win a boon.

If you get a boon, roll a d4 to determine which boon you earn.

If you win a boon, please PM me your email address, so I can include that in the reporting of the session.

1 - Inheritor of Ghol-Gan (earn a grippli over the course of 12 games.)

2 - Contemplative Traveler (earn your choice of some interesting benefits associated either either with planar travel or the boneyard.)

3 - Season Explorer - Gain benefits based on how many games from Season 6 and 7 that you’ve earned credit for.

4 - Debt to Society - You can use a small amount of prestige to raise a dead ally, and pay the society back later.
