Alexander Divyr is only one of the many orphans created by the now famous Goblinblood Wars. At the age of eight both of his parents were killed in the grueling defense of of the city of Logas. While his father hailed from a minor noble house, when no immediate relatives could be found to take custody of the children, Alexander and his two sisters were shipped to one of the many orphanages founded by the Church of Asmodeus. While his childhood was no means joyous, the discipline that he learned served him well. While many who embrace the Dark Lord Asmodeus do so with sadistic delight, Alexander rejects the harming of innocents and perverse acts of cruelty. Law and order necessitate a firm hand to ensure the fabric of society, Asmodeus offers that order and discipline. Alexander's personal code prohibits him from making 'deals' with goblins, hobgoblins or demons. Alexander is impressed with strength, but knows that the lure of 'evil' can consume even the strongest of souls. He views the Hell Knights as the true heroes of the Goblinblood Wars and seeks to one day enter their ranks. Alexander's older sister (Janara) likewise followed the faithful of Asmodeus, but has given into its darker nature. The youngest of the Divyr children (Martia), fled Isger two years ago as is rumored to have found membership in a company of Freedom Fighters in Varisia. Alexander is devoted to both of his sisters and would do anything to ensure their safety.
