Computers: Perhaps 4Azlant! wasn't the most secure password. Should have used more !!s
your science officer PC may attempt a DC 17
Computers check (DC 20 in Subtier 7–8) as a helm phase action.
By succeeding at this check, the PC can immediately reduce the
King Xeros’s Shield Points in a single arc by 40 (48 in Subtier 7–8)
for 1 round. The computer also references physical files which ya'll know to look for now.
Life Science: The plants are both tangy, nutritious, and being used to create a custom living circuit board that controls the king Xeros. The king Xeros is actually controlled by plants*. Either by convergent evolution or distant ancestry, the semi etheric Kudzu native to this moon is fairly similar to the plants on the King Xeros.
You can rig a warhead that will crit the king xeros regardless of getting through its shields or not (not that that's a problem for the manticore)
perception: Mu Fails to notice that the round air vent is about an inch smaller than the diameter of her horns....
Athletics ...Resulting in a total Whinnie the Mu situation as she gets about halfway in to something and then stuck

Thomagar's impersonation is dead on. If being a starfinder doesn't work out he can join Zo's Starfinder Night Live skit doing this guy.
With Mu out of the way Thomagar can climb up the ventilation shaft and find some useful seed based energy cels. Your engineer can reroll one check
Bugface finds the physical files the computer was talking about in a Malina envelope labled "Sock Supply levels ". Someone knows NOT to label the big important folder "TOP SECRET DO NOT READ". They show where the King Xeros has been fit with guns and their arcs of fire. As the ship was originally designed to float on water, it shows evidence of 2 dimensional thinking. (You can force the gunners of the king Xeros to reroll one successful gunnery check)
The roar of distant rockets cuts through the surrounding
sound. Four sleek Azlanti ships launch into the void, forming
a protective guard around another ship vaguely resembling
a seafaring vessel carved from cream-colored crystal, with
three sail-like vanes protruding from its aft. Gray-green Azlanti
thrusters, weapons, and armor appear grafted onto portions
of the ship, standing out from the overall frame like metallic
blemishes. Naiaj’s voice suddenly blares through the comm
system, “There it is! All teams, disengage the base and intercept
that crystalline starship! Do not let it escape!”
Not that I think you need it but you can take a 10 minute rest on the way back to your ship.

A weapon with this special property creates a spiraling cyclone of gravitons that tears, crushes, and twists everything in its path, reducing a target ship’s speed by half and reducing its maneuverability by one step for 1d4 rounds on a hit. A ship protected by functioning shields takes no damage from a vortex weapon, but the target ship’s pilot must succeed at a Piloting check (DC = 15 + 1-1/2 × the target starship’s tier) or the hit depletes all Shield Points in that arc.

Mu spends a resolve point to lock on. "I'm gonna make it easier for you guys to hit, while Bugface lowers those shields."
If you have at least 6 ranks in Computers, you can lock your starship’s targeting system on to one enemy vessel. You must spend 1 Resolve Point and attempt a Computers check. The DC equals 5 + 1.5 × the tier of the target starship + its bonus from defensive countermeasures (see page 298). If you succeed, your starship’s gunners gain a +2 bonus to gunnery checks against the target for the rest of the round. This action can be taken only once per round.
