In spite of his fear (and perhaps even because of its effectiveness in reducing the haze which has clouded his mind), the Fox manages a joke, "It was my pleasure, though I must admit I'm not fond of the ending."

I want to attempt to make a break for the door. If that only means moving through threatened squares, I will just provoke whatever attacks of opportunity I have to and hope my +4 AC from the Mobility feat helps me dodge them. If I would have to move through the jorogumo's own space to do it, I would have to succeed on an Acrobatics check against a DC of her CMD+5, and if I fail I lose the move action and am stuck right next to her. I don't think I want to chance that--I would go for the window instead and make the easier Acrobatics check to reduce the effect of the fall by 10 feet, and take whatever damage I have to from that. Note that I do not have Slow Fall, because I have not spent a ki power to get that (I got Ki Metabolism instead).

Use your HP stat in classes/levels to indicate how hurt you are, since I'm not keeping track of the exact damage everyone else has taken. If it's just the 1-2 HP from the oni, you can suck it up. =p

Algoral begins an elaborate hymnal chant soothing all around him. Hymn of Restorative Harmonics That should give us all the affects of a delay poison among other things for the next while, until we can get the damage repaired.

Facination effect: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5


The answer is, unfortunately, zero rounds; Fascinate isn't a combat-capable Condition.

A fascinated creature is entranced by a supernatural or spell effect. The creature stands or sits quietly, taking no actions other than to pay attention to the fascinating effect, for as long as the effect lasts. It takes a –4 penalty on skill checks made as reactions, such as Perception checks. Any potential threat, such as a hostile creature approaching, allows the fascinated creature a new saving throw against the fascinating effect. [i]Any obvious threat, such as someone drawing a weapon, casting a spell, or aiming a ranged weapon at the fascinated creature, automatically breaks the effect.[i] A fascinated creature’s ally may shake it free of the spell as a standard action.

Fascinate effects are meant to be used to stave off combat entirely, and have no effect in an already combat situation.

Essentially all Euphoric Cloud does in this scenario is give the ninja Concealment.

Mwikali turns and follows Johann, her strides determined as much as there are strides of prideful arrogance. The Bear moves fast, and so she takes to the air using her flight hex to hold her self aloft and follow after.

The Bear's keen nose picks up the Fox's scent! It leads him to a central stairwell (D on the map), and up the flight of wooden stairs to the upper levels of the palace...

The fall from the window would be 40 feet to a lower roof (over level 3), then he could try climbing down to the ground or jump the 60 feet from the roof of level 3...

Alternatively, he can try tumbling past jorogumo and through the door to area W... but he seems to recall there being quite a few guards and a couple traps between here and the way out below...

The ninja seem hesitant as the witch's intoxicating euphoric cloud forms, and then Habiba's cloud begins to form...

How did these gaijin get this far? How did they get past the dragon? If they killed it, then they will surely kill us as well... The spirit oni have clearly joined their side...

I'm pretty sure I have to use one move action to get to the window and another move action to open it--and therefore don't have any actions left to jump out. Her turn.
