Actually, I do lose consciousness. 7.5 means I was above 20 feet on my first potentially damaging fall. I did manage to convert that to non-lethal, so I am not dying, but I am at 1 with 2 points of NL damage...so I am out.

I will point out I am not actively bleeding out the way Kehlysch is. It's too bad I was knocked unconscious. If I was still up I could probably stabilize him. It would also be a good opportunity to ask for my healer's kit back.


The module does have a safety net for this kind of thing, don't worry. Kehlysch will live. I'm just waiting to make the next story post until Madiya posts.

If he had died on impact, that would have been a different story.

Along those lines, any chance we can get a rough outline/key of what the areas on the wormwood map are? I guessed A10 is the sleeping area because I think those look like hammocks, but The rest I am kind of clueless on. It doesn't help that I don't know the first thing about sailing ships IRL.

I did take the ship surgeon's trait. I am fine with the healer's kit being taken...frankly I don't think it makes much sense that they would leave it on her (your hammer either Sven, sorry). I just want to put in the effort trying to get it back. :)

I imagine since we were not specifically told to not kit out our characters we will have opportunities to get our kits back somewhere along the line. Just looking for those opportunities.


No, Madiya is right. The trait specifically says that you can hold onto the healer's kit. So Buhayra can have that on her. It's the same as Baolus' brass knuckles. The trait that gives you your hammer isn't a campaign trait, and thus doesn't allow you to hold onto it when your equipment is taken.

In fairness GM, would you like to trade my healer's kit for the dagger you let me keep. She hasn't used it yet, so it is an easy ret con...and like I said before, if she tries to use the dagger it will probably go poorly for her.


If you want to leave the dagger off, you can do so. That's your perogative.

Y’knkw let’s stick with sneaking as I made the dice rolls for it. Easiest that way with no retcon. As he is doing the rigging he’ll sneak a peek at A4a, and will work his way from there to A4b if he has time. Given his job it seems to make the most sense.


Those are actually bad choices to try to investigate. Since it was requested above, I'll make a list of the general areas once I get home to my computer. But suffice to say those are not places to be snooping around.

And they're locked.

Edit: You can actually get to the other areas of the ship pretty easily. You don't technically have to stick near your assigned area (though if you get caught, you can be punished).
