Description:
Despite standing at average height, Tamesis has a way of making her self seen and heard. Perhaps it's the dark blood red skin, or the mirrored black eyes and long, straight black hair. Maybe it's the short horns and four-foot-long tail. Or maybe it's the way she holds herself, her defiant posture and look of absolute superiority that seems to grace her otherwise attractive features as she visibly sizes up everyone around her.
Cocky, perhaps arrogant. Treats others as inferiors until they prove otherwise. Cruel to her enemies yet polite with her allies.
Backstory:
Tamesis' story starts with Szuriel, the Horseman of War. Legend has it that the Kieran line is directly descended of the End Bringer, and thus carries a legacy of death and destruction. Tamesis' great-grandfather, Ciar, the last Tiefling in the family line, was no exception. During his career as a pirate captain, Ciar Kieran's name was known far and wide, and feared by all. He ruthlessly plundered any ship he came across, taking no prisoners and leaving only one survivor at each scene, to tell his tale. In that time, he fathered several children with various wenches and whores, though only one who would carry his name.
Tamesis grew up with the stories of her great-grandfather, the wonderful tales of his ruthlessness and daring. All her life, she has wished for nothing more than to travel back to Ciar's domain and claim her birthright among the buccaneer seas. And so, she trained. Honing her skills with both the blade and the innate magic of her bloodline, blending the two into an intricate dance of death and destruction. As the first tiefling since Ciar, her parents spared no expense in her training, knowing that some day, she would put it to good use.Once her parents had passed and she had come of age, Tamesis left, carrying her blade and spellbook, and made her way to Port Peril in order to begin her own journey.
