I'm back!! What a long and crazy week of moving and dealing with the aftermath of our flood! luckily no one and none of our stuff was damaged and our housing office had us move into a new house so regular posting will resume! :)

Standing near the northern wall the skeletal ghost like figure materializes. AS soon as he does Niralzi's ghost touch arrow looses and lands inbetween its ribs and Malakos' force missile knocks it backc as well destroying it.

With a pant she burst back into the room... only to watch Niralzi's arrow and Malakos' spell destroy the ghost. Sheepishly She straightened up and ran a hand through her hair.

"I dont like this place at all."

She murmered to no one really.

Perhaps it was her embaressment at being afraid the whole time, but she noticed a small wooden case just under one of the infimiry beds.

"What's this?"

She began pulling it out and setting it atop the bed for everyone to peruse

As you all look about the room and divvy up the potions you found you notice a door along the northeastern wall. You find the door unlocked, and it swings open.

A huge stone furnace dominates this room. large enough for a child to climb inside An ancient fire has burned away the entire east wall of the room, providing a panoramic, if eerie, view of the lake beyond. That same lake has gradually expanded into the room, flooding its eastern half.

Moving into the room you notice a soot covered copper plaque on the wall next to the furnace reading "Old Ember Maw"

As she enters, Sisu sees the same signs as Rahela, but stands her ground inside the room. "I do believe this is probably another haunt, but putting these to rest might be what is needed for this poor town. I'm not sure if we should stand our ground or fight it...

Spotting the horrific face and taking everyone's word for it being a haunt, Malakos grabs a glass vial off his belt and readies to activate the HAUNT SIPHON when the haunt manifests,

Looking to the others, "You know, it's just occurred to me we really haven't had a completely successful test of this," holding the Haunt Siphon aloft.

Animating before your eyes the face of Old Ember Maw animates into a leering skull-like visage of metal and bars. It roars to life and a fiery tongue lashes out from its maw and strikes at Malakos who is still holding the siphon in his hands.

With a fiery sizzle the animated face of Old Ember Maw settles down into just the metal grate of the furnace.

we are also out of rounds.

Looking around the room, while being careful not to fall into the water, you find an unlocked door at the south eastern end of the room. Looking into the room you find that much like the one you just left, teh northeastern wall has partially fallen, reveling the dark, murky waters of the pond outside. Moldering training dummies and other similar equipment hint that this room may have once been a training area for the guards. In the northeast part of the room, the floor around a dark jagged hole is surrounded by black scorch marks.

Hearing Rahela's words, Sisu looks over at Malakos. "I guess we should do the honors. We can deal with heat better than the others." She carefully grabs as many of the bones as she can and throws them into the pond.

Nodding, "Its true, fire doesn't have much effect on us," He'll scoop up any remaining bones from the fire pit, keeping a close eye on them in case anything suspicious happens, "We can take these over to the pond on the side"

After throwing the bones into the water, Sisu searches the room to see if there was anything they missed during the battle, then heads towards the door to the south. "Let's keep going this way and clear this eastern wing before we backtrack."

She pauses, waiting for a consensus before proceeding

Malakos moves up and slowly opens the door, and lets Hannibal(his rat familiar) scamper around inside the room, checking the room for anything overtly hostile looking.

She replied to Niralzi as she hurried to catch up with the others. She frown and looked to the skull assaulting Malakos and took a heavy swipe at it with her glaive- guisarme.
