Game Master DoubleGold

A request has been made to DM an evergreen scenario for newcomers, thus I have thrown my hat into the ring and decided to DM this game. It is for character levels 1 to 2. I define a newcomer as someone who currently has 3 or less PFS characters and has not made it to Level 5 with a single PFS character.

If there are not enough newcomers, I will take veterans and mediocre players, but newcomers preferred.

Sign-ups will be open for a week

To be clear I'm a little flexible on what is a Newcomer, if someone has more than three characters or has a character past level 5, I may still consider that person a newcomer depending upon circumstances. The person would have to explain why he/she considers him/herself a newcomer if he/she does not meet the requirements.

I am interested! I am currently playing a home game with friends (we just got lvl 3!), and I am in one pbp game that is a week old.

I can make a character based on the needs of the group.

Liberty's Edge

If you have a spot, I am interested.

I have a newly formed barbarian. Alas, I am not a newcomer. But, if you have room when you close recruitment, please count me in.

Count me in. I have a sorcerer ready to go.

Well that makes 4, and I yes I can accept a Veteran or two to fill the spots.

Grand Lodge

if you need a fill in i have a character that can clme in...lvl 1 swashbuckler...one scenario under his belt...

Grand Lodge

Hi - am I too late to join? I'm new to pbp this week, and I'd love to get in on your game if there's room for one more...

I have Kyrus Craghammer, a dour but kindly warpriest, that I could load up later today. He brings healing, hammer action, and furious dwarven swearing to any party he joins.

That's six. Max is 7. I close recruitment Monday and start Tuesday, so that gives people time to create characters.

Is anyone here completely new to PFS? Ie. this is their first scenario ever? If so I need to go over a few things with you to make sure you understand the rules.

Will this be core rules?

nope, standard

Silver Crusade

This here is my dwarven Alchemist1, he has no completed scenarios. I also have a human fighter with a few scenarios under his belt but would still consider myself a relative newcomer to PFS. Be happy to play if there's still a slot!

Do you really think "under the ice" will finish by Tuesday to use him? I mean, I doubt it. Most likely you will have to bring in the fighter.

Liberty's Edge

I also have a half-elf archer-paladin that I made months ago but haven't used. If it's lower tier would that be preferable?

Grand Lodge

I have added details for my Warpriest into his profile. Kyrus Craghammer the Dwarf has become a human, Kyrus Vincenzo (Pathfinder ID#218409-1), from the Riverlands. Back story to follow.

Am looking forward to starting!

.

I said I would start today, but I'm going to wait another day or two, until I get the chronicle for under the ice so I will have one less game to worry about. The Dm is sending the chronicles out as the game is completed, but I want to make sure I have everything done there.

Grand Lodge

No problem - Kyrus will be happy to spend some more time praying to Pharasma for good fortune in the game ahead...

Well it looks like the site has a issue with campaigns not showing up, hopefully they get this fixed before I start, but I'm starting Thursday night whether or not it is fixed.

Here's grimdog73's toon...good to go for gear...has a wand of clw for a spellcaster to use

game is up.

Hi, still new around here. If you end up running another table for those new to PFS, I'd be greatly interested. I've played Pathfinder, and only recently saw a PFS game at a local game store.
