I guess I'm the only one to have such an impression, but anyway...
When we started WotW we were all roleplay and such, mainly cause we have nothing to do, but still, we have some in character conversation and that's why our WotW party interacts better than the WotR one, since on that one we had no time nor reason to interact with each other.
On Throne of Night we've had plenty of time to have a nice conversation and do some planning before we can head into an almost no-return path, but I don't feel like anyone is planning anything, just getting to go wherever luck may take us. Am I wrong at wanting some more?

Not at all. I think we're doing great at WotW. There's not much to do there with all the scene, and the best thing to do is to move forward. Trust me, I believe we all want to get moving.
I was specifically complaining about our roleplay on Throne of Night. At least I got the impression that we were somehow jumping the roleplay and going straightforward to the one way dungeon. I do believe there is a lot to discuss, but I seem to be trying to push the conversation alone, only to have a few quick inputs about it. Maybe I'm just overreacting? I don't know....

I will leave it until you guys can discuss your plan and what you think that you may encounter. You are all dwarves so you can go off of what you heard about in tales. Any common lore can be taken upon.
I always enjoy roleplay between people, and I may interject with a random NPC until we are comfortable to get going. Which we can decide on in the discussion board.

Basically i am wondering if there would be a wizard or alchemist around town with access to Comprehend Languages that I could pay to copy.

DM Yodler |

not sure how to rule this. The learning language. I believe that it would be earned when leveling up to level 2. Having had enough time to absorb the language on a fluent level.
With the copying a spell, I believe that most people would charge scroll cost unless you knew them very well (aka allied / friends).

My feeling is we can all speculate about where we're going, but i dont hink any of us have actually been there so no real knowledge beyond rolls can be had.. Ive rped but it seems the point was to meet up and get the ball rolling.. At least that was my feeling on it..
And sorry for the Xenophobs Kaars.. I saw this guy as a recluse, not really liking anyone.. That goes double for non-dwarfs.. He'll come around when you show your useful and not just baggage that he needs to keep and eye on lol..

Kaars Aarden |

haha, all good. Dwarves will see that Kaars is as good as them.
Also I hope the way I am having Kaars talk isn't annoying anyone.

For some reason i thought we had maximum starting gold, not average.. ill have to do some gear dropping now lol..
Ok after changing a few things around i have 36 gold to put towards a climbing kit.. It cost 80, but will proabably be very useful to use.. Who wants to pitch in?

Everything good Yodler? I think we are ready to move on. Was Kaars able to acquire the scroll by trading for his potion?
