Dotting here, will set up discussion for you guys here. Discuss character concepts and I will follow with deciding on a patron.

Decide everything pretty much. I'm going to leave it to you to decide on things. I'm open to most concepts as you know. You can even be non dwarf but make sure you have a good reason to be going with a band of dwarves to the underdark.

This is a list of twenty descriptors that describe the nature and interests of your parties patron. Don’t ask any questions about what they mean right now (unless perhaps there is a word you need defined) and don’t discuss them amongst yourselves. Simply read the list and pick two that you like.

  • Arcane Magic is an Abomination
  • Arcane Magic is our Greatest Tool
  • Beauty
  • Blacksmiths and Metalworkers
  • Bravery
  • Brewing
  • By this Axe I Rule
  • Elemental Earth
  • Fortune Favors Us
  • Glory
  • Honor
  • Knowledge
  • Law and Tradition
  • Liberate the Enslaved
  • Mercy and Healing
  • Prowess in Battle
  • Secrets beneath the Mountain
  • Songs and Stories
  • The Rightful High King
  • Travel and Exploration

Brewing.
Secrets beneath the mountain.

another drow, you weren't kidding lol.

Thats just info for a different recruitment because I cant be bothered creating another alias unless i get in.

Lawyer 8/MBA 7/RPGist 5

Fortune favors Us.
Prowess in Battle.

The Rightful High King
By this Axe I Rule

What would you think about a ratfolk alchemist going along with the dwarves?

Secrets beneath the Mountain.
The Rightful High King.

I would be interested in building either an inquisitor or a cleric. Which would you guys prefer I be?

I would say inquisitor, but that's just me. I was personally thinking of running a magus (Kensai).

Lawyer 8/MBA 7/RPGist 5

I would say Cleric, but that's just to make your choice harder...

I'm probably going with a monk, but it depends a little on the attributes, if rolled or bought.

The campaign info tab says 25 point buy. We are awesome dwarves! Haha. I feel like buridan's ass with this great cleric/inquisitor question; do we have a third vote?

Actually changed my mind on the Magus after seeing that the alternate dwarven ability score adjustments cost a trait, so I'm not going to go with the magus. Ixos, if you go with either the cleric/inquisitor do you mind if I go as the other?

I do not mind. I've started to lean towards inquisitor. So, you can go cleric, unless you greatly prefer inquisitors then I will do cleric, or we can both do inquisitors (twins!) and have all teamwork feats ever.

I will go cleric if you're going inquisitor, but if you want we can still do the twin thing.

@DM Yodler could I take the Forgemaster Archetype?

Actually, I have realized my true calling: Dwarven Dervish Dancer. Bwhahaha.

I'm so down with being twins.

But I'm going to change my Patron votes to:

Prowess in Battle
The Rightful High King.

I'm a dwarven princess. ahahaha

I'm going to change my votes to:

Blacksmiths and Metalworkers
The Rightful High King

What do you want our last name to be? I was thinking on taking the true heir of dammerhall trait, do you want to be heirs to the dwarven throne? Or should we choose a different trait?

Lawyer 8/MBA 7/RPGist 5

I'm going to change my votes to:

You're such a princess
Decide it already

Could not resist, sorry.

What about Balmunkak? I was thinking heir of dammerhall trait as well.

We are all pretty princesses on the inside!

Balmunkak it is.

Your twin sister's name is Hvedra Balmunkak. She is wild and carefree, valuing innovation and results over traditional practices. She even practices non-traditional forms of combat. (Gasp.)

Your twin brother's name is Volagr Balmunkak. He is stern and stoic, viewing traditional practices as the ultimate expression of the dwarf. He has dedicated himself to the forge in the hopes of rebuilding a dwarven paradise.

If you can build a solid story for it sure. Make sure it is believable as well

Wait, if we are heirs to dammerhall, shouldn't our last name be Tarnhammer? :-p

Female Half Orc Occultist 3

Along with the name issue, we need to resolve our age and various coloration. How about we have redish brown hair and green eyes? Does 54 work as an age for you?

Does anyone want a ratfolk 'servant/follower'? Reason being you saved his life and he vowed to repay the debt. Perhaps you saved his whole family.

Going for vivi/beastmorph alchy.

We can change the lore to suit the characters of course ;)

Ok so what are people playing? I see a dervish dancer and maybe a cleric?

For a dwarf i have a had time not playing a ranger.. Yup put me down for a ranger.. A deepwalker ranger at that..

I like for the Beer! Brewing and
Axes rule!

I assume this campaign takes place mostly underground? 25 points? 2 traits?

Female Half Orc Occultist 3

If it's okay with the GM, I'll take a Ratfolk retainer.

Here is the crunch/alias for Volgar.

HP 14/14 | AC 15 | T 12 | FF 13 | CMD 16* | Fort +5* | Ref +4* | Will +3* | Init +4 | Perc +7* | SM +3*

Bagram reporting for duty as well..

"Where's all the dam beer! I swear im cuttin some beards off if someone doesn't get me a beer!"

Decided to throw in the Trapper archetype for some ole disable device.. My crunch is in his profile.. Some changes might be made before we start.. I assume elves is a good selection for my first FE.. If this is all underground i assume aberrations will be another good one..

Man i might be reconsidering the trapper before we start.. I really like the ranger spell list.. Gah!

Female Half Orc Occultist 3

I like the art for Bagram.

Lawyer 8/MBA 7/RPGist 5

So, mainly for personal purpose:
- Werepox: Ranger (Deep Delver) - Balanced Saves/AC/Melee/Ranged/HP - Track/Trapfinding/Perception
- Void: Cleric (Forgemaster) - Unbalanced Saves - Divine spells/buffs - 2nd Melee - No channel/Ranged
- Ixos: Bard (Dervish Dancer) - Balanced Melee/AC/Saves - Arcane/Healing/Buffer
- TR: Alchemist?

So we've got two healers/buffers, a scout and an alchemist. What else do we need?

I will be a ratfolk alchemist with the vivisectionist and the beastmorph archetypes. With sharpclaw and 2nd level discovery fetal mutagen i will have 4 claw attacks and 1 bite attack, all primary and 1 tail attack with tail blade secondary when i use my mutagen. Lvl 3 i want weapon finesse. So i wont be needing weapons really. Gonna go alchemist all the way. Not sure if there is a way to get stealth as class skill.

Female Half Orc Occultist 3

There is always a way

Ask to get that reflavored

Male Ratfolk Alchemist(Vivisectionist/Internal Alchemist) 1 |HP 9/9| AC 18(T15/FF14)|CMB -1; CMD 13 | Saves Fort +3, Ref +6, Will +2| Initiative +4, Perception +7, Sense motive +1

Here is the start of my rat.

For the Forgemaster I will have to see if the Patron I make would include Artifice, so wait a sec I will see if it fits.

Ok so i compiled a list right now we have the three:

  • Brewing
  • Prowess in Battle
  • The Rightful High King

Brewing is a quintessentially dwarven profession and so you follow a quintessentially dwarven god. Beer is served at every religious ceremony of any importance and treated with reverence. Prowess in battle is always revered in dwarven culture, taking great steps in keeping their race protected but culturally alive at the same time. The hierarchy of the houses in the dwarven kingdom require a High King to truly unify the ultimately stubborn race.

Little excerpt to give you a general idea of the general points of the patron.

Now Please list one Sin and one Virtue we will vote on what you think would be the best to have to keep in line with the above descriptors. We will pick 3 Sins and 3 Virtues out of the lot. Then I can get writing the actual patron.

@Kaars. Your character sheet should list you as small not medium. Also, I think you should have 7 skill points to use, I think you only used 6.

Male Ratfolk Alchemist(Vivisectionist/Internal Alchemist) 1 |HP 9/9| AC 18(T15/FF14)|CMB -1; CMD 13 | Saves Fort +3, Ref +6, Will +2| Initiative +4, Perception +7, Sense motive +1

Oops. Still not finished. Copied another aliases sheet over so as not to have to type the format up again.

Also is slippery allowed for me to get stealth?
Are there campaign traits to select from?
What are the sins and virtues or do we just make them up?

Male Ratfolk Alchemist(Vivisectionist/Internal Alchemist) 1 |HP 9/9| AC 18(T15/FF14)|CMB -1; CMD 13 | Saves Fort +3, Ref +6, Will +2| Initiative +4, Perception +7, Sense motive +1

Here i am not checking campaign info tab...

Male Ratfolk Alchemist(Vivisectionist/Internal Alchemist) 1 |HP 9/9| AC 18(T15/FF14)|CMB -1; CMD 13 | Saves Fort +3, Ref +6, Will +2| Initiative +4, Perception +7, Sense motive +1

Can i take Relic of the Dwarven Smithy? And it be a tail blade thst I have found in sone deep cave of a warren.

Just a heads up Kaars/TR sharp claw and feral mutagen would not stack to give 4 claw attacks.. You would need 4 arms for that to happen.. I would suggest taking weapon finesse and feral mutagen if your wanting to be a natural attacker..

Where do we see a list of the sins and virtues to pick from?

There is none we are making them up ;)

Female Half Orc Occultist 3

Can they be job interview vices -- "I'm just too punctual," "I care too much," "I'm a perfectionist." :-p

Male Ratfolk Alchemist(Vivisectionist/Internal Alchemist) 1 |HP 9/9| AC 18(T15/FF14)|CMB -1; CMD 13 | Saves Fort +3, Ref +6, Will +2| Initiative +4, Perception +7, Sense motive +1

Why couldn't my feet grow claws? It makes sense considering i'm a rat.

Sin = Pride.
Virtue = Honour

Something like that?

The feat would grow claws for u, but not a 2nd set of arms.. Now it would give u claw attacks all the time and ur mutagen would make the damage dice go up and give u a bite, but it wouldnt give u 2 additional attacks..

Lawyer 8/MBA 7/RPGist 5

Sin= Wrath
Virtue= Diligence
