"Borox, before we move on to the next room, can you please check for magic in the leeches' pond and in that tree, in case we missed something?"

Also Professor, I think you gave me the wrong PFS character ID#.
Should be 50090-06.
---------------------------So what's the plan?
With that, he takes a moment to inspect the room ahead, and tries to find the chanting sound he heard earlier.
I didn't see a response to this ... is the chanting behind the door in front of us? Is there anything else interesting or unusual about the open area once we get past the leech pond?

Sorry, it was a bit busy for me last night/today. I'll open the next door for us tonight when I get in.

No worries, I've been there!

Borox gazes about with his eldritch vision.
Alkarion retrieves the scrap and brings it back to the group.
Within is a steel amulet without a cord and a watertight scroll tube made of horn containing a scrap of parchment with a hastily scrawled note: “We lost Gavreth, Kehm, and Nars in the Hall of the Flesh Eaters. Before he died, the wizard claimed the horror is a work of necromancy. I know it at least responded to holy water, so that means we should be able to—“ The rest of the note is smeared and illegible.
Nothing else aside from the items you brought with you seems magical.

Yes. I've moved the Professor over to it to listen.

Not that you see.

Borox senses the amulet has been magically enhanced and uses Spellcraft to attempt to determine what it is.

"I cannae tell what the item is, but it definitely be magical in nature, lads. Now, let's go crash that party!"
Prof. Alkarion

Alkarion nods at the others, "I'll open the door and you guys can rush in ... on three! ... No wait, let's make that three-then-go ... so it'll be "1,2,3, then I open the door ... ready?"
The wayang guides his gecko up onto the wall where he can still reach the door handle, but will leave room for others to move past.
Once everyone says they are ready, he will do the count then throw the door open dramatically.

Note: the following description might be limited for some due to their specific visions types.
The door opens upon a dark cathedral-like hall with a vaulted (30-foot-tall) ceiling supported by eight square pillars. Dominating the middle of the hall is a huge mound of undulating gray-green flesh covered with weeping scarlet boils. The entire mass stinks of a weeks-old corpse. Writhing about the flesh is a cluster of emaciated, degenerate beings most are vaguely humanoid (solid borders) with dog-like muzzles and long tongues, but some are more canine than others (dashed borders) almost completely adapted to moving on all fours. They sway almost like they are drugged before the great mass of pulsating flesh.

orange: 1d20 + 6 - 10 ⇒ (2) + 6 - 10 = -2
They don't seem to react to your entrance.
Roll once for both sorts of beings (when your character can see them) and open all the spoilers for that being that apply.

Borox sees Garrapata staring into the room with wonder and decides he needs to look for himself at what is inside the room. This might be a good time for him to cast some buffs or defensive spells for the party before a battle breaks out. He double moves to the position he is in now and looks into the room.

Kaillum puts his pistol away and grabs his bow and readies an arrow.

During surprise round Raynor casts divine favor on himself (atk/dmg +2/+2 via Fate's Favored trait) and takes position outside the hallway.
"Agreed! chokepoint and alley of attacks as they emerge out of the hallway. When enough have gathered in this room, perhaps Borox can paint them all with holy fire!"
AoOs and channel after two rounds or so? I'm also thinking Prof. should bomb that putrid mass with fire...
When the first creature enters the hallway and crosses Raynor's reach (i.e. where Prof. is currently located), Raynor strikes with an AoO as follows:
+1 Lance vs. first 'thing' crossing over: BAB 5, STR +4, Weapon +1, Mounted +1, Power Attack -2, divine favor +2: 1d20 + 5 + 4 + 1 + 1 - 2 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 5 + 4 + 1 + 1 - 2 + 2 = 19 for 1d8 + 13 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 13 + 2 = 16 magical+piercing dmg.

I am waiting for my next round to begin, but when it does I am going to cast Burst of Radiance from the scroll I pulled out and have it detonate on the Green ghoul that is directly in front of me. That will result in a 10-ft. radius which should encompass him and five of his fellow undead. I'll direct the next one to hit when the others move closer towards us and hopefully gathering for another blast.

Speaking of, this room originally had 56 trolls, a pile of treasure, and no food, or water or sanitation in it. Really. ;)
Kaillum, Raynor, remember there are going to be cover penalties (-4 to hit, no attacks of opportunity, and so on) for fighting through your friends (and hard corners as well).
That and there is no light in the room so some folks might be dealing with concealment (20% miss chance) as well.
Prof A. And there are range penalties to consider as well.
Kaillum lances a bolt around his friends but the effort seems to draw little response from his target as it and its fellow ghouls (even the canine seeming fetrogs continue to chant.
The Professor arcs a bomb into the ghoul's midst to devastating effect.

But, the ghouls don't seem to react. Like lotus-eaters they seem a bit stunned. The chant ends slowly among some of them. One of the ghouls even claws out a shuddering hunk of the green mass and begins to eat it messily.

Seeing that the ghouls appear to be stunned, Raynor decides to suppress his disgust at the massive stinking blob and makes a sortie to attack the nearest creature, lance shining with light. Raynor also suppress his desire for a war cry, in order to remain somewhat stealthy against any potential creatures from other rooms.
[Raynor/Mozza enter the room. Mozza takes a 40-foot move including squeezed square at double cost and goes on full defense as a standard action. Raynor tries to skewer dotted green creature using his lance's reach at 10ft. distance as a standard action]

Burst of Radiance damage: 4d4 ⇒ (3, 2, 1, 3) = 9
Burst of Radiance blinding: 1d4 ⇒ 4
Burst of Radiance dazzling: 1d4 ⇒ 3
This spell fills the area with a brilliant flash of shimmering light. Creatures in the area are blinded for 1d4 rounds, or dazzled for 1d4 rounds if they succeed at a Reflex save. Evil creatures in the area of the burst take 1d4 points of damage per caster level (max 5d4), whether they succeed at the Reflex save or not. END COMBAT
Hearing a sound, the wayang moves to see what produced it.
Move action to get a view behind the pillar; I'd like to reserve my standard until I know what I see.
Traditionally (in the works of H. P. Lovecraft), ghouls 'meep'. The ghoul that Raynor just finished off had been blinded by Borox last round and meeped in surprise when it happened. What I should have said was the top of the map and not north.... although with the spacial distortions figuring out which way is actually 'north' is more difficult than normal.
The mass of flesh smells of death and unwashed bodies. It towers a full 20-feet-tall and probably amounts to a 120 tons in weight.
Now, in the wake of the battle, it might be a good time to review your mission objectives. Feel free to discuss.

The parts of the great mass caught in the edge of the holy aura appear to burn as if struck by acid.
About the above: Raynor still has 6 rounds or so of Divine Favor on that lance, so he will do the following routine three times before rethinking his options:
1. Charge and strike with lance at reach; (x3)
2. Poke with lance and backup 10 feet to prepare next charge. (x3)
If that works, the rolls under spoiler tag below.

He then takes out the original note from Venture-Captain Benarry. "Well, it says here that Thrennt hid the Orb in a side chamber off of a "Hall of Flesh-Eaters" and collapsed the entrance. This room would certainly qualify as a Hall of Flesh-Eaters, so I suspect that rubble there might be our target."
