Taking a quick look around and taking in the ensueing madness Leni utters a single word: "Frakk."
She finds herself suddenly alone, as Thudd went off to supress the nades and all orks salivating to murder a whole group. So instead of getting into cover she lets her Lasgun fall from her hands, into its strap. She takes out her camo cloak and does her best impression of being a part of the room.

"Get into position and then open fire on the Orks with the big guns, don't let them fire!"
If they obey orders, we might still be able to salvage this, stop the ground orks from overwhelming us, take out the ones with fire support, our snipers taking out the top ones...
By the emperor, we can do this!

As the rain of sharp and fragmented crystals rain down on Krish, most of the impacts shatter on his metallic skin. Enough strike true, though, that he is bloody and bleeding when it is all over.

Leaving bloody footprints behind, Krish limps swiftly into some nearby cover, cursing his luck as all he finds is a broken bookshelf. As he settles into cover and takes out his medkit, he speaks coolly over the vox, <Medic Tivnan, I have sustained injury and would appreciate your guidance in stopping the bleeding.>
Following Leni's guidance, Krish applies blood-clot and pressure dressings to the bleeding wounds and simple bandages to those that might start bleeding.

Hearing her vox crackle Leni taps the bead to start sending while she tries to hide. Thankfully all the racket around should hide her voice even if she should talk too loud.
"Alright. Inner tight is a bad spot. Take something hard and press it between your legs above the bleeding to stem it. Just don't get your nuts cracked by it. Then use a proper pressure bandage for a lasting triage. For the embeded stuff: leave it in. pad it with cloth, then apply a bandage above that. Leave the rest for now, we'll look after that after we're done."
Your success value seems off. You use Lenis medicae+10 and get +20 from the medkit vs -10 to stop bleeding

Combat Round 1:
Thud'dr: Hurries to fireteam #1 and Lucky, hurling his massive body onto two of the grenades! One can only guess whether the Ogryn believes in the absolute protection of his shield, his body or the Emperor above all.
Leni: Does not want to have anything to do with the onrushing Orks and vanishes from casual glance under her cloak, whispering short, helpful advice to Krish …
Simmins: Bleeding profoundly, he and Court slam down the Stubber onto an overthrown wooden desk.

Fireteam #4: Find their fire line blocked and switch their fire to the Ork gunners. One militia manages a headshot with his battered autogun, but the Ork does not seem troubled by it in the slightest.
Orks #1: ???
BOOM! The two ogryn-buried grenades detonate with such a force that Thud'dr is lifted of the ground like a sheet of paper and thrown aside like a discarded stone. His shield takes the brunt of the detonation but the double-detonation proves too much for the metal and it ruptures in the centre, allowing a fraction of the blast to burn and rend Ogryn flesh! (15 E dmg, Pen:0, Concussive(20)). For a split second, too quick to be entirely sure, onlookers may think to notice a golden flash near the neck of the Ogryn, where the broken rosarius hangs on the makeshift chain.
Orks #2: Growling with fury, the Orks jump! Now, you can see that they have cruel rocket-packs strapped to their backs, streams of fire licking from scrap metal nozzles trying to slow the descend... Two are making a decent landing at the bottom of the shelf, amidst the shocked troopers, the third crashes down hard and falls to the ground in a heap, probably stunned from the hard crash.
Orks #3: The four Orks start shooting their large guns, sweeping them around like crazy as if completely oblivious whom or if they hit. One of the gun's bark only once before going silent - to the great anger of it's wielder. The sheer amount of bullets zipping around proves enough to be dangerous in and of itself though: One woman of fire team #1 goes down with a cry of pain and falls into a pool of her own blood and is silenced by another hit forever. One of the Orks in melee has his leg blasted off from a stray round and jumps around searching for balance (and his leg). Captain Martins is caught by another round which opens a hole in her left shoulder which promptly starts to bleed. Simmins, Court and Krish feel their cover pettered with impacts but for know, the thick, old wood is able to hold off the worst of it.
Orks #4: Ignoring their losses and blood maddened, they crash into the heap of turned desks behind which the combatants of fire team 3 cower. A swirling melee erupts, which sees three militiamen dead within the first rush.

Combat Round 3 (end):
Thud'dr: Gets up, flings his shield and pulls out his massive Eviscerator, roaring in rage at the beasts attempting to hurt 'his' lil'uns. The shield travels a fair distance and bounces against the shelf a couple of meters below the leftmost gunner. (you may roll an indimate test against your direct opponent)
Leni: Hurries to Simmins side and tries her best to stem his bleeding - while the gunner is firing. The heavy recoil of the stubber makes it quite difficult to apply a bandage, but in the end she is able to stop the bleeding with a really-not-that-neat pressure bandage.
Simmins: Sends a well-aimed volley of shells up the shelf – the salvo is full on target! Solid shells dig deep into old wood and Ork flesh! Four times the body of the ork rock under the impact of stubber shells the latter two remove the better part of its head. The ork collapses.
Cormaeg (1): Readies a grenade as well and waits for the Captain to toss the first stone grenade.
Krish: Uses his witch-powers to force an Ork to its knees! The ork falls to.the ground as if his strings had been cut.
Lucky: Stabs the big Ork in the left leg with his combat knife. The wound, while not deep, sure is crippling, and the Orks falls to one knee as it tries to take another step!
Captain Martins: Shouts at the badly mauled fireteam: "Marq, Steve: frakk'off!", then throws her grenade right into the midst of the melee on the right flank.
Cormaeg (2): Follows the captains action and tosses his own grenade. (Feel free to resolve the throw yourself, it is delayed, so it won't explode before next round, giving enough time for you to resolve by yourself)
Ashora: An ellbow long stream of fire erupts from the massive rifle she is carrying and the booming report makes everyone in the general vicinity flinch.
Fireteam #1: A muscled militia beside Lucky is following his example and tries to poke the Ork between them. The other three survivors of team #3 step up on the one downed by Krish and unleash a hail of shots at the beast at point blank range, blasting the attacker apart.
Fireteam #2: Fires short bursts of fire against the Orks with heavy weapons. Their lack of marksmanship becomes obvious as nearly all fired shots only hit the Orks cover - if at all. Still, they manage to rob the seconf-to-left gunner most of his cover with their assault.
Fireteam #3: The surviving members break contact with their attackers and scatter. The rightmost is rushing towards team #4 behind him, the left one is hoping to close with team #2 and Ashora and risks a sprint over the open area between the rows of desks.
Fireteam #4: Lay down cover fire for the rout of team #3. One member is coming close to a friendly-fire-incident, but the round was a split second slower than the running soldier from team #3. The hail of fire they unleash on the right flank is … frightening.
Notch: Having finally been presented with a free attack vector, he lifts the double-flamer and sends forth a wave of burning promethium in a high, narrow arc, causing a burning, smoking line to cut through the Orks advance.
Stormboyz: The one downed by Lucky gets back up with a shout full of hate and tries a wild return swing, that is: he actually turns his back on Thud'dr to get at Lucky! The swing is too fast to dodge and the tiny combat knife no match for the heavy cleaver so Cutler's parry attempt is unsuccessful and the cleaver cuts into his left leg! (@Lucky: Pain!! 14R, Pen:2, 4 Agility damage and Bleed (1)). To the rear, the other remaining Stormboy exacts vengeance on another member of team 1, breaking his weapon-raised-in-defense with the first swing and follows up with a dangerous looking stab into the chest of the fireteam leader, who slumbs to the ground moments later.
Orks, Ground: Only one Ork emerges from the cover fire (literal in case of Notch's part) with his wits intact and continues his charge, which brings him to team 4
Gunner-Kommandos: Acting like actual soldiers, these Orks concentrate their fire on those areas where the most return fire origins from: Simmins and team 2. But oh boy, these Orks were more accurate when they were just spraying the general area. Only one or two stray rounds manage to get even close to their intended targets and those bury deep in the century old wood of the desks used by the Imperials for cover.
High-above Orks: More debris comes crashing down from above! One small but sturdy looking shelf crashes down close to Ashora in the backline, another stream of data crystals crash down between the two rows of desks - ripping the next-to-last survivor of team 3 to bloody shreds.

Combat Round 4 (end):
Thud'dr: The Ogryns attack catches the left arm of the beast and breaks it with a sickening sound that echo through the chamber. On pulling back the sword, the engine gives off a brief roar, causing the chain to jerk for a half rotation, ripping the greenskin's arm off at the elbow. (the sword is still not entirely awake though)
Leni: Hurries into a cover that is far from fire-magnet Simmins.
Simmins: Sends another volley up the shelf, but finds his second target, squeezed between two stacks of data crystals, to be much harder to hit than the last one.
Krish: Nails the sole remaining Stormboy with a trio of well aimed lasbolts, following the previous shots to the obvious conclusion. The Ork does not approve. As it finds its chest rapidly filling with smouldering holes. The moves of the beast become sluggish and it's eyes start to loose focus.
Lucky: Retreats out of melee distance of the Stormboy just as Thud'dr removes its arm. Living up to his name, he finds that the Orks stab did not sever any arteries as he first feared. (no it is not a new 'session'. I use the concept of Checkpoints that will be announced once met and you restore fp upon reaching one. Hint: this battle is such a checkpoint, as was the great train-statuon flight/fight the guys had just before you joined)
Cormaeg: His grenade bounces of a desk and scatters further north-east than he intended, but at least it does not lands too close to any allies. Grabbing the Captain, he hauls her towards the closest cover, barely covering the distance.
Ashora: Reloads her massive rifle and searches for another target above.
Notch: Sends a second burning line of Promethium, creating a deadly, burning triangle trapping four Orks between to walls of flame and a burning shelf.
Captain Martins: Getting combat-dragged with a broken leg is not fun, but she fires several shotgun rounds into the smokescreen created by Simmins, aiming to suppress until ...
Boom! ... the double frag-detonation reduce the threat of the enclosed Orks decently. While a lot of the deadly payload is caught by the many desks of the area, enough remain to shred to Orks and severely wound two more.
Fireteam #1: Two guns are aimed at the remaining Stormboy and litter the hulking frame with bursts of gunfire. The fourth member, which followed Lucky into melee with the Stormboy, decides in a split second that he is of no use in a melee between beast and sanctioned beast - he retreats to Lucky's side. At this range and fire in their hearts, both militia-men find their target with ease, sinking nearly a dozen solid shells into the chest of the Ork. Being already severely weakened by Krish's attacks, the Ork is thrown back against the closest desk and slides down with a last, faint gurgled [smaller]Waaagh![/b]
Fireteam #2: Following a bellowed command, the fire team takes carefully aimed shots up the shelves, aiming to fire for effect after their previous burst did not result in any hits.
Fireteam #3: Is reduced to a single member which goes catatonic behind the cover he barely reached.
Fireteam #4: Switch target to the single Ork soldier making it through Notch' flame wall.
Stormboyz: A single, literally disarmed Stormboy remains, faced with a very angry Ogryn and several guns with nothing more pressing to do than to dispatch him. Grunting, the Ork triggers his rockit pack and rises on a pillar of flame and smoke... it is clearly struggling with balance no doubt due to his missing arm. Flying around erratically over the battlefield it tries to stabilize its flight, but is not yet successful. (hitting this one will be at -20 due to its chaotic movements and speed)
Orks, Ground: ... the one charging team #4 is very dead and lies in several places, blasted apart by more than two dozen hits. The remains two, both mauled by explosion and shrapnel AND burning send a last gesture of defiance before perishing. Two stocky metal objects come sailing out of the burning triangle! One is clearly aimed at Notch, the other at the position of team #4. Both throws are short though, clearly the muscles of the throwers already running liquid from the heat.
Gunner-Kommandos: One suffers a headshot from team#2 PDF leader and ducks low out of sight with a yelp of pain. Two of his fellows send a stream of heavy gunfire at team#2, clearly annoyed by theim switching to precision fire. One burst is way wide, but the second is on target. Several heavy shells blast through the old wooden desk, remaining enough velocity to wound the trooper behind it - he huddles low, crying in pain.

Thud looks around for targets. He pants in pain and fury. The only orks he sees are high on the bookshelves. Ok.
He rushes at them, jumping up on the book shelves and punching through the wood to form the holds he needed. He rages and climbs like king-kong up the face of the bookshelves.

Largely combat ineffective and safe from defilade fire from the gunners, Adge uses his Auspex to scan to its range and his Magnoculars beyond that to try and locate any further enemies in the vicinity or closing in, but he struggles to make sense of the rapidly shifting blips.

Thud'dr: Attempts to brute-force climb the shelves. The old wood splinters under the furious power of the ogryn and books, wooden shrapnel and data crystals start to rain down in his wake. He manages to climb half the way to the Orks with blinding speed! You can only guess what any lexmechanic or duty-bound scribe would think of this utter disregard of the stored precious knowledge.
Leni: UP
Simmins: Sends a burst of shells up the attacker, finding his bearing again, nailing another gunner with two four hits.
Krish: Stomps over to Lucky and finds shelter below the arc of fire of the Orks above.

So, let's see:
- That –10 I see there is probably a remainder of the old Full Auto ruling, yes? If so, then enjoy the ruling of 'all shooting modes @+0' and get a solid hit (1 Dos)
- Given that your stubber (in my rework) has the (slightly changed) storm property, you actually get two hits out of 1 DoS on a burst - so you may roll an additional round of damage :-)
- I also raised the damage of the stubber by 2

Seeing his ward climb the racks, Notch fires a stream of flame up at the gunners in an attempt to reduce the amount of Orks he'll have to face once up there, or at least distract them.
Then he hears Lucky's warning and sprints for cover.

Combat Round 5 (end):
Thud'dr: Attempts to brute-force climb the shelves. The old wood splinters under the furious power of the ogryn and books, wooden shrapnel and data crystals start to rain down in his wake. He manages to climb half the way to the Orks with blinding speed! You can only guess what any lexmechanic or duty-bound scribe would think of this utter disregard of the stored precious knowledge.
Leni: Lays down a sprint which could very well be a regimental record of short distance running - in a library. Reaches Lucky only a couple of seconds after the warning call.
Simmins: Follows Leni - but slower. He just had to send a final greeting up the shelf. One bullet is a direct hit and blasts clean through the left arm of the Ork, the other three hit it's cover first but seem to manage a certain degree of penetration through the old, splintering wood.
Krish: Stomps over to Lucky and finds shelter below the arc of fire of the Orks above.
Lucky: His scans do not reveal much more than they all already knew – beside the steadily decreasing number of blibs in the area. Oh, and a solid return of something large falling down from high above... He yells out a general warning...
Cormaeg: Sees that there is no way he can drag the Captain all the way to the overhanging shelf, he instead shoves her under a particular sturdy desk and slides under a nearby one himself, praying that the desks will hold.
Ashora: Another echoing gun report of the oversized gun can be heard from the backline.
Notch: Lays fire to the shelf where the gunners fire down from. The century - if not Millennia - old wood catches fire immediately and the flickering red wave surges upwards at speed, already hiding one of the gunners behind a smokescreen...
Captain Martins: Cursing, yelping and cursing again, she lets herself be pushed under a desk, grimacing at Cormaeg as he hurries off. "Argh, yer granny never taught ya not to push older women around, eh?!"
Fireteam #1: Try their hands at taking pot-shots at the erratically flying Stormboy – but missing with every shot.
Fireteam #2: Continue to pour 'precision' fire towards the gunners but only one single round finds its mark.
Fireteam #4: Switch to the Ork gunners as well and try their luck with shooting back at the remaining Orks atop the shelf – resulting in a ludicrous amount of missed shots.
Stormboy: The wounded Ork just cannot reign in his jetpack and crashes into the lefthand front of the shelf, dropping a full three meter to the ground where he impacts heavily.
Gunner-Kommandos: Strange howling echoes from above. It is, as if the Ork gunners are laughing at something. What should be so funny remains a mystery though...
High-above Orks: … for all of three seconds. Then CRASH! A massive shelf comes crashing down from above, flattening the lefthand side of the gunner-shelf (and the Stormboy) together with the burning ground where once team #3 took up position. Splintered wood flies around like arm-length shrapnel. Worse still, is the fact that there is movement inside the dust caused by the impacts. The orks from above must have dropped together with the shelf! The Emperor protects indeed, as nearly everyone is spared the worst of it. But somehow, Cort must have angered HIM on Terra recently. A particular nasty, tight-bone sized wooden stake hits Simmins gun-carrier right into the chest! The grumpy man is thrown off his feat and crumples to the ground.
There is blood pooling around Cort and he is not moving. You can't tell whether he is dead or merely unconscious from shock.
Round-wrap-around, new arrivals rolled high on ini, shifting them in here.
No-more-high-above-Orks: Orks come rushing out of the debris-field, seemingly undisturbed by the horrible impact they just had, they charge towards the imperials screaming bloody murder! They are on you within the blink of an eye and the first sounds of bloody melee already echo through the library! (of the PCs, only our psyker is locked in melee atm)

Cormaeg, not being one for banter normally, especially not in a combat situation, does still allow a tiny hint of humor to bleed into his voice.
He wasn't exactly a spring chicken himself at this point.
Turning back to the battle at hand, Cormaeg stows his chainsword away and instead takes out his trusty las gun.
He then takes aim at the remaining gunner ork.

She starts with a dose of disinfectant spray, removes most of the blood that has been washed out with a sterile tissue, then more disnfectant spray. Now being able to see what she's doing she gets out a largish set of pliers and actuallly picks out the pieces of rusty ork cleaver from the wound in record time.
Disinfecting once more she applies a sterile bandage, then adds a small metal staff and fixes it in place with more bandages.
Throwing the pliers and the disnfectant spray back int the medkit she gets up
"There. You got hit to the bone but all the pieces are out and I added a stabilizer so the bone shouldn't break. If you keep away from large rusty ork weapons from now on."

Clamping his mouth shut as Leni begins talking, partly through discipline and partly due to the lancing pain as he moves. Adge grits his teeth and with little more than a few choice curse words, gets through her necessarily quick ministrations. Panting a little as the pain subsides he grunts with a slight grin "Alright Doc, no Ork weapons choppin' in my flesh, got it. ". With which he rolls over to get a line of sight around the corner of the bookcase. Ignoring the ork being crushed by the nearby ogryn, he uses the floor to steady his elbow against and takes aim against the ork in combat with Notch. Slowly he begins to steady his breathing as he settles into the familiar custom grip.
