Since I'm stunned for a round, only half-move and half-action for me!

Faye, despite having been knocked off her feet in a literal, non-romantic way, resists breathing in and gagging on any of the gas. While the rest of her squad does what they have to do to not die and/or kill the Ork Kommandos, she crawls toward her bundle of gear to fetch her chainsword.

Unless I can put in the rebreather/filtration plugs, etc, in before grabbing my chainsword, I'll do that. If I can do one but not the other, rebreather > chainsword.

"Gas Grenade in the bunker Kail, watch your fire, we're getting out of here!"
And she looks around the room from her position to see if anyone is in trouble that doesn't directly involve the Ork Kommandos.

The beat up between the Kommando and the squads Ogryn continues, but the Ork's attack was seemingly stronger than that of the Ogryn. Faye shouts a warning to Ashora then quickly pushes the filtration plugs out of her jacket and into her noise to cancel out the worst of the gas bomb, her movements sluggy and slow from the pain a finger-sized metal fragment in her left leg causes her.
Celephix gets her breathing back to normal as her rebreather kicks in and tries to get past the ever bigger melee near the bunker door. The melee really takes place just beyond the door, so it would be dangerous to try to pass it at the moment. The other Ork is currently out of sight for you. Last time you saw him flying away from the force of Thud'dr's shotgun-to-face action...
With a "For the Emperor!" the one standing Storm Trooper crosses the heap of coughing bodies and tries to attack the Ork but misses him by half a meter cutting himself deep into the leg with a horrible crunching noise causing the Kommando to laugh out loud with his deep, alien voice. Nevertheless you are outnumbering the Kommando 3-1, making all melee attack against him +20

A big explosion from the south suddenly lits the surrounding in blinding light, horrible screaming accompanies the roiling sound of the explosion. Something is burning and sheds dancing light over the trenches.

Ashora:

You turn around by reflex, seeing Sledgehammer (the Chimera of the second trench) is burning bright and two large creature near it who seem to dance around the vehicle (or dying you are not sure as your vision struggles to cope with the new lighting conditions).

Inside the bunker, the Kommando is looking around at his increasing number of enemies and pulls out another grenade, dual-wielding it together with his choppa - laughing loud as he attacks.

4 Damage means I have taken 2 critical damage. I'll assume it's to the body. Therefore, assuming I succeed, I get the breath knocked out of me and I am knocked prone. I also gain a level of fatigue. Meanwhile the Guardsmen of the 1st and 2nd evacuates the bunker, where the gas cloud slowly starts to fade, reaching the fresh air of the trenches and gasping it in like a near-drowned man, looking at the pool of gore and blood - that were two Orks just moments before - in disgust and hatred.

Going to take a few more rounds until you get back to the 6 wounds. Current rounds was my first post -> only grabbing stuff and following you out. First aid will start in fluff once we hit round 6, just getting the rolls out of the way =3

With her pressing attitude, Leni holds triage just outside the bunker in a makeshift shelter made from two ponchos she required from two guards, taking care of Faye and Thud'dr severe wounds.
Celephix meanwhile makes her way to Doombringer through the deep snow in what seems like ages, hoping hard to not be late... And she manages to reach Doombringer in time, let herself fall into the snow and quickly discovers and removes a bundle of those lethal Ork grenades from the belly of the Chimera with her utility servo arm. The thing is a affront to the Omnissiah, all scrap metal, old wood, plain wires, blinking lights and a big clock like disk in the middle with a long red painted metal stick moving over its surface towards a yellow mark with a skull. You can make out ominous ticking...
Ashora scans the surrounding, providing cover for Celephix as she closes with the squads chimera. There are currently no enemies or further fighting in sight.

That should cover it. Were out of initiative atm, but Celephix has a major time constraint in her servo arm right now... Tossing it may be both difficult and dangerous as it is really heavy and you are quite sure you cannot throw it far enough to be out of its explosive range. That thing weights at least 10kg and from painful experience you know that even one of the grenades as a blast radius of 3m. A quick calculation gives you a expected danger area of 5-9m and you're quite sure you cannot throw this unwieldy thing that far...

Sorry for the slow pace. First big exam today, next coming on Friday. This probably is all I can get up - besides small ooc comments on questions - until Friday. But you should have some IC stuff to do now, so ... Entertain yourself a bit? ;-)

Leni Tivnan Medic BS32 WS25 S29 A28 T25 I63 Will32 Fel30 Per26 Hp15/15 Fate2/2+1 Ins0 Cor7 30/30 4spare

Okay so writing up the fluff for the medicing in one go, yay ^^

Leni grabs Faye by the collar of her armor as soon as Faye, Thud'dr, Leni and the rest of the group hit the trenches: "Alright big girl you have exactly 10 seconds to organize your merry band of soldiers while I set up something to fix up that bloody mess that is currently pretending to be your legs" letting go of her she is already heading for the corners of the trench with enough room for treatment but shouts back: "Yo Notch, the big dopey one is up after sarge. Make sure to be on time. Doc doesn't like when appointments don't show up."

With that she gets to work in the trench corner - she uses her own uniform jacket as blanket against the mud and props up the front and the back of her armor against each other so they form a windshield against the incoming snow - not much but big enough to shield the critical legs from the storm.

The procedure is done quickly and professionally - she picks out the pieces of armor, clothing and shrapnel that got stuck in the wounds but didn't go too deep to reach without cutting, then she disinfects the wounds thoroughly - this part stings like a b%~%!, you're pretty damn sure Leni did something to the disinfectant - and lastly puts a bandage over it tightly but not tight enough to actually hurt or get in the way

"That'll keep you in one piece for now but make sure not to walk into another one of those or you can kiss your Legs goodbye. NOTCH, WHERE'S THAT PATIENT YOU OWE ME?"

Looking over Thud'drs wounds she shakes her head: "Wow. Just wow. Seriously no more walking in mine fields for ANYONE in this squad until you guys get some more nut protection. Also I suggest not walking into large sharp things especially when wielded by big green ugly things."
She takes out the big pliers to get out the stuff from Thud'drs wounds, then disinfects them before using a stapler the fix the chest wound quickly. Then she takes time in bandaging everything.

Wounds 9/14; FP 3/3

Celephix looks at the crude explosive quickly running simulations though her mind. Two possible options come to light. Either hurl the explosive at the front of Doombringer, hoping that it's superior front armour can take the blast, or find a way to disarm the explosive. Either has risk, and in her current condition either could likely terminate her existence.

Deciding on disabling as the best option Celephix analyses the device for ways to disable.
Given it's Ork-tech, I think this will either be impossible, or will have an obvious big red on-off switch - or that you can just push the clock-hand back to buy more time, but I'll roll tech-use anyway

Tech Use(44): 1d100 ⇒ 70

This is all assuming there's not any convenient nearby reinforced bucket's, sinkholes or other containers that will contain the explosion somewhat

Maybe use a Fate Point to reroll?

Celephix:

You make some progress understanding the weird construction of the bomb, but it is hard for your mind to throw anything you know away and try to understand a clearly heretical construction...
If the counter is keeping its speed (and it indeed indicates the actual time-to-explosion) you estimate that you have 15 to 20 seconds left before it will detonate 3-4 rounds.
Also you think you may be able to remove most of the additional grenades from the bundle without much of a problem, reducing the explosive force of the thing and making it lighter.
Removing one grenade from the bundle is a tech-use +30, reducing its weight by 2kg. You would have to remove at least two of them to make the thing throw-able.
A complete disarming of the thing will need one unmodified tech-use roll (mali and boni which both are present neatly kills each other).

Obviously if you fail hard on any of those rolls, it will result in ... unpleasantnesses.

As she winces and grunts as Leni works on her thankfully still functional legs, she tries to pay as much attention to any vox communications that are going on and once done just thanks the doc "Well, Doc, seeing as I'm not one for intentionally jumping onto explosives, it's definitely on my 'things not to do' list."

When the doc yells for Thud via Notch you can hear Notch outside doing his best to coax the Ogryn into treatment. He gets so frustrated that he switches to normal Gothic. You just took a grenade to the legs, an ax you the chest and, after that, tossed the Ork wielding it away like so much trash, and you say you're scared of her yelling!? Seriously?!
There are a couple heated exchanges in Ogryn then Notch falls back into Gothic again, You will go in, needless or no! Now move!
A second later Thud stumbles into the treatment area looking terrified. He emerges after treatment looking healthier and very relieved to be away from the makeshift triage tent.

"Deconstruct, yes, minimise blast, chance of surviving increases."
Celephix begins to deconstruct the device,
Can I spend a fate point first to recover 1d5 wounds?Fate: 1d5 ⇒ 1
Tech Use(44+30=74): 1d100 ⇒ 18
Tech Use(44+30=74): 1d100 ⇒ 35

Presume this is going to need a check to throw it away
Hurl(Str35): 1d100 ⇒ 60 Not sure if Manipulator has enough agility to leverage its +20 Str bonus
If that's not enough will Fate to re-roll
Hurl(Str35): 1d100 ⇒ 99 Fate Re-roll
Oh dear... Double checking fate rules you can't re-roll more than once...

No Strength test to throw. Go with the standard grenade rules for throwing, but your max range is reduces to SBx2 instead x3. Depending on the BS test to throwing, and the follow up scatter roll, it may get dangerous (or not). So take back that second FP and try again.

Wounds 9/14; FP 3/3

BS(36): 1d100 ⇒ 20 That's better!

Good thing. Feel free to describe it yourself. You can throw it 3x2=6m. The remaining explosives have a 4m Blast radius so you're out of trouble.
You have two heavy Ork grenades left, which are still usable if you want to. They pack a better punch than yours but are heavier and somewhat awkward to throw, so the effective range drops to 2xSB.

Celephis frantically disassembles the crude device, chanting litanies to the great machine spirit, as she doubts that whatever spirits may possess this Xenos tech will listen.
Stripping out two of the bound grenades, she notes the timer about to blow and hurls the device away from herself (and Doombringer), diving to the ground as she does so.

The explosion blasts up frost and ground a few metres away, and 'phis rolls back over. "Doombringer is all clear. If there are no further urgent threats I would like to request medical assistance."

Leni taps her micro bead "Can you get your metal ass in line or do I have to drag you back to the trench?"

"I am on my way..." Celephix heaves herself back to her feet. And returns back to the improvised medical tent.

Vox chatter:

+++Blessed be the Emperor!+++Thanks for the defusing, Enginseer!+++Good thing you saved your Chimera. ETA five minutes. Be careful of mines, we have encountered two inside the trench already. Yetta out.+++The ramp is still struck!+++Gas in the bunker slowly fades, Sergeant. Still smelly as hell but breathable.+++

Leni continues to vox while she gets ready for a hearty welcome for Celephix: "Sarge, I heard something about work for me at the other group when you voxed them, any news on that?"

First Aid vs 88: 1d100 ⇒ 74 1DoS so only 6Hp returned
Leni looks over Phix and sighs: "For one of those logic maniacs you sure as hell didn't do an any more _logical_ job of getting out of the harms f%&!ing way. Oh well this will be new, bit of a crossover between actual first aid and a mechanical puzzle. Been a while since I did one of those let's see how well I still do."

Despite the bickering she does just as she did with the other two: strip the clothes around the impacts, remove any shrapnel and especially any clothing caught in the wound before disinfecting them and applying a bandage.

Afterwards there should be our old Stormtrooper in line to get patched up:
First Aid vs 88: 1d100 ⇒ 76 1DoS, 6Hp again.
