Bow attack mod was 21/16/11 so on Randtam the to hit rolls would have been 40, 35, 23. Not sure if the last one hits? Benedict soaks 15 points on the first 2 and I'll change his cure action in a moment.

There is a catwalk ringing the inner tower with access to arrow slits but not stairs up or down.

At the base of the tower is a massive set of double doors that appear to enter to the main chamber of the cathedral.

The bloated corpses appear to be a variant of ghoul. They seem much stronger than a normal ghoul and Randtam surmises that they receive extra power from the unholy nature of the ruins. The trees he identifies as 'quickwoods'-These carnivorous plants prize human and elven flesh, but eat anything they manage to catch. Quickwoods typically explore an area, taking note of any oak trees, and then root themselves and wait for prey to wander by. They use their oaksight ability to maintain constant surveillance of their hunting grounds and send their roots out to drag likely prey back to them. Finally, Randtam notices that the giant is somewhat smaller than most giants he has read about, maybe a result of the deformity that gives it a third arm.


Uuranx cuts down an unsuspecting ghoul as it circles the melee swirling about Balator. It's belly explodes showering the area with foulness.
