Ok, I'll let her know. She warned me that the character is exceedingly strange, so I hope it will mesh good. And I KNOW she won't drop, because that girl's got drive and can get emotional about her characters. We will resume once she posts, which will presumably be either today or tomorrow from the sound of it.

She has almost completed her character! I must say, it looks EPIC! We've been busy playtesting her two campaigns encounters, which is why she hasn't completed her character yet. Look for it tomorrow!

OK everyone, here are my ideas! I originally had one idea, but came up with several options for everyone to choose from. I warn you, they're WEIRD!
1. LN Female Aasimar Moonchild1- A priestess of the dual deities of the sun and moon, she will have powers over both searing light and dark. She will speak in odd conundrums which seem to make no sense at first, but later prove wise. She will focus on both powerful damage spells and have a fair bit of utility spells as well. Her two companions will resemble tiny Imperial dragons, one made of inky darkness that continually bleeds into the air and the other made of white and golden light that shimmers as if distorted by heat. Her companions often entwine into strange shapes reminiscent of Celestial runes.
2. LG Male Dhampir Ninja1- A former assassin with a mysterious past seeking penance for his sins. He is perhaps more tied into current events than one would expect, the source of his hidden shame. Although honestly repentant, he is capable of astounding acts of violence when called to action, dispatching foes with a surgical precision. Unlike most ninja, he has forsworn the sword, fighting only with his fists. He fights using techniques learned from an ancient scroll, called the Shadowsun style, which manipulates the cold darkness of Yin energy and the explosive light of Yang energy. As he masters this style, it forces him to face his past sins, both literally and figuratively. He would eventually take levels in the Shadowsun Ninja from the 3.X Book of Nine Swords, updated to Pathfinder power levels, and take the feat from Cultic Cryptomancy that allows him to rip the heart from a foe he drops, instantly killing them.
3. LE Female Minor Kami Mosaic Mage1 (White Spectrum,)- This character would be a mysterious mage with inscrutable goals. Her goals seem benevolent, but her techniques often involve unheard of levels of brutality, which she executes with emotionless precision. She has vowed to never shed a drop of blood, but her mastery over mind control, cold, necromancy, healing, and divination allow her to fulfill this vow easily. She is a creature of contradictions, a darkness bent to the purpose of the light, a weapon of merciless purity who never betrays her word and who lives by a code of honor. She is a force of nature which exists to shape the world according to the Celestial Beaurocracies grand designs, which prominently feature the current heroes. (TSP approved the Minor Kami idea and using her as an instrument of fate.) :)
So, votes everyone? And each of these obviously represents the concept of Yin-Yang on some way. I did not think to ask TSP which was his favorite, but he would probably say to ask you all if I can't decide. These are all obviously the bare-bones concepts, so if you would like more info, let me know.
Oh and I typed these to the song Divine Love from the Final Fantasy 13-3: Lightning Returns soundtrack! ;)
I had stranger ideas, but these made more sense to include. I don't imagine everyone would want a swarm of sentient red butterflies that attacked with the glowing crimson strands of fate as weapons (Coalescent swarm racial class, the cool imagery of the strands explaining the swarm damage and later explaining the magic tendrils of the Starseed class!).
My vote is for the Aasimar Priestess.

I'm not a fan of Dhampir and we have a monk. Of the remaining two, the priestess seems more beneficial to the party. We don't have anyone with access to Divine spells.
Her spells are arcane, technically. The priestess part was just fluff. And we have Sophia for divine spells, right?

Also just to warn people, I tend to make neat characters but they tend to prove useless in the long run compared to more optimized characters. so don't expect much heroics from Lang, he most likely just an extra person to take damge from the bad guys on occasion.
Sohpia is indeed a cleric and has the full divine spell list to memorize from (as well as a few fiery surprises)
so if i understood correctly: the first one is a witch with a familiar and the Eldrich heritage feat line that will grand a second familiar.
Second is a straight up mage specialized in non damaging spell.
I like both 1 and 3
My vote is on the first one. Seems like the easiest one to roleplay (with) in an online setting, and the most fun to have in the party as she can bring a lot of things I would like to hear/read about :)
The Moonchild is a class from 'It Came From The Stars!' that focuses on 'space magic', that is, spells utilizing light, darkness, gravity, ect. The companions I spoke of are Hungry Shadows. You gain up to 3, but begin with only one. The first two will be intertwined at first (Representing the one,), then split into two, while the third, if we make it that far, will come from the two joining part of their essences into creating a third. It's a VERY interesting class. The class has 'Houses', which are basically extra spell lists that can grant certain Oracle Revelations style abilities called aspects. I plan on utilizing the House of the Devouring Void and the House of the Flaring Sun the most, but she will gain up to 6, only some of which can be used at a time. Oh, it will be GLORIOUS! ^_^ I MAY change the race to a 3PP one, TSP's approval permitting of course! So, what do you all think? Want a blaster/utility caster with cool flavor?
Oh wait, I just thought of another one! A living oriental doll possessed by the spirit of its creator! Just looked over the Living Doll race and thought I would add that as another odd option.

Interesting spread of possibilities there, from sources I've never read too. I think I also like the moonchild idea. Unusual caster classes are always of interest to me, though I tend not to hunt down very many splatbooks or 3PP material. An arcane priestess would be a creative slant to things, and her pets would fit right in.

If I have any vote I would actually vote for the ninja. as it is a pathfinder class and race. and is created with all the same creation rules we had when this started.
but whatever you decide I am sure it will be fun.

It does strike me as a bit "off" that you would get all these greeat options and 3PP books and abilities and who-knows-what, where-as we have created our characters with the 20point buy, only Paizo official stuff.
Maybe you can recreate the first one to a "normal" oracle or sorceress within the paizo rules, using archetypes and such?
Looking at Takeshi, all I got going for me is bardic performance :p
It's been my experience that in practice most 3pp classes tend to be underpowered. I'd have to take a look at these ones more closely to get a feel for them.
Hmmm... good point Takeshi. I thought TSP always allowed 3PP though? I will wait on him to decide before posting. Easter is tomorrow, but I'll try to find out what he thinks. What is everyone else's thoughts?
I wouldn't worry too much about power level, unless something is glaringly out of place. the only one here with a questionable power level is Mamoru. 60 point crit at level one. It was hilariously well timed though, and he plays his character to the hilt, so it's all good. I'm actually a little underpowered myself because my stat spread isn't quite "optimal," but oh well. It's what I wanted for the concept, and the first DM picked it, so here I am, and hopefully, here I stay!
Really it was just a 15 point hit with a x4 crit weapon. :)
Ok, how's this: RVT may select any class she wants, but everyone else gets one free retrain, in any class, after clearing the castle (Perhaps with some tomes that detail techniques to adjust ability scores?). What does everyone think?

47 Ronin was awesome. End of freaking story! I was acting like more of a fan girl than RVT when I saw that! If you actually know her, that's a HARD level to top! As a note, no I'm not a female, it's just that fanboy is not a term in the vernacular lol.

A good point Mamoru. I've been busy keeping my friend RVT mentioned in her threads from exploring her suicidal thoughts. I think she's a bit more stable now, since she's had time to process things. I will post soon!
