I take it (Schedule change,) back. Long story short, following Old Testament Shabbot (Sabbath,) now and for some reason thought that you could not do messaging on Shabbot. Difference between Orthodox and Messianics. Growing up as neither one, I was not sure what the case was!

Also, on a less-happy note, what does everyone want to do about Alaren? I have another player who is interested, but wanted to get an idea of what everyone else thought before making a decision. I was REALLY hoping he could return, but it looks like a no-go. Thoughts? Comments? Queries?
At this point I think bringing your friend in would be fine.
If Aleren comes back, maybe we can still fit him in, but it seems like he's gone.
I have no bias towards either option, really: I hate to drop anyone, ever, but if keeping an inactive player means denying someone else the chance to play, well that would just be unfair, wouldn't it?

I have been lurking for the last few days. I assume that we are waiting on Wu Fen to do up the initiative and possibly Alaren's actions for the surprise round or are we waiting until the new person comes in?
We're probably just in holiday holding pattern.

Wanted to let everyone know that where I live we are contending with a bad ice storm. Its supposed to be pretty crazy and they are concerned about downed power lines and the like. So I may become out of touch for a period of time. Before the Icy Armageddon comes I wanted to wish everyone a happy holidays.

Nothing clears me up better then some good vinegar based hot sauce, preferably on some chicken wings or something. Just seems to burn away the runny noses, congestion, and all the other nasties.
Not for the faint of heart though, takes a pretty good dose, served hot of course.

Hey guys, just got back! When my flu relapsed, I got pneumonia really bad, so that was great fun >_>... not really. I will be posting soon once I let everyone else know I am back! Oh, and eat dinner! There should be no more delays of this length! Everclear helps with illnesses! Well, assuming you have the CON to rival the Tarrasque anyway. O_O
Tis the season to be sneezin, I guess. My parent's house got blitzed with all manner of mucus and coughing and all that jazz. Two pneumonias, three flus, three colds, all between five people. Kinda glad I don't live there right now...

Thanks guys! I'm rolling on with the game, seeing as how Red Velvet Tiger hasn't made a character to replace fallen Alaren.
Actually, I was ready to have Mamoru kill himself if you'd allowed it. I wouldn't have put myself in the situation if I wasn't ready for the possibility. Playing this character is very different than most others I've played, but it's very rewarding. Such a different mindset.
But, if he'd died, or if he ever dies in the future, I have an entire string of ideas for replacements.
There must always be a Mamoru, as long as the Heir is still alive. Another Oni from clan Onitora would show up to take up the Mamoru's swords and title.
I have plenty of ideas for different personalities and builds should they ever become necessary.
