We should get going, it is not safe
On the captain's orders, the Red Raider is turned around and headed out to sea, away from the attack on the Port City.
It's approximately a 2 day journey to the nearest island, Clarana. After about an hour, the city is no longer in sight and there's nothing but ocean as far as the eye can see.
Mishkara's parrot is a hit with the crew, circling the crow's nest, entertaining the crew, and on occasion, repeating a few things the crew didn't know it heard.
Day 2, Clarana is in sight. Being part of the Three Sisters, an escort is required to get to the docks, but no one asks questions when you get there.
Stores, taverns, and brothels are abundant at the port.
Female Human Cleric/Harrower 5/1
Before getting into town, Colette draws and performs her art as a Harrower and gives the Tower of Dexterity. This Tower provides a +1 to AC for the next 24 hours. Whoever in the crew may gain the bonuses of the Harrowing, but only those within 20 feet may gain the bonuses.
Colette heads to a Tavern and begins Gambling, and performing Dances.
Gambling: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (14) + 13 = 27
dancing: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (11) + 13 = 24
Colette's dances and gambling pay off, racking in 255 gold total and a few drinks for her and her friends.
As she is gambling, something seems amiss with a member of her competition. Perception, DC 20, and if you succeed, Knowledge Local.

Mishkara will go to the local Blacksmith shop in order to make some stuff to sale to the towns folks. Then after that she will go to the bar and sing for a little.
craft armor: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
craft weapon: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
perform sing: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
Mishkara's weapon forging skills impress the local blacksmith. Her armor skills, not so much.
You rolled high enough you can either forge any weapon made mostly of metal, or roll again to see if you can forge a masterwork weapon. Since you would be using raw materials, you can sell the completed item at full price. I'll give you the item's price and stuff when you're done.

craft weapon: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
Mishkara is able to with the material provided craft a Katana. It is in mighty fine condition after she is finished. A smile crosses her face as she hands it off to the blacksmith who happily buys it off of her for 233 gold and 3 silver.
It isn't long before news of the attack on the Port City reached you guys. Surprisingly, there were no casualties. Not on the port, not in the navy to fend off the attack.
Capt. Theran pulled the same stunt with the Grey Kingdom Navy as he did in the Golden Rule. Of the three ships sent to take him out, two of them sank and one was sent back with the survivors.
Female Human Cleric/Harrower 5/1
"Sounds like a nice fellow." Colette says as she hears the news about Port Royal.

Mishkara will go around town to gather some info.

The captain's search is practically in vain. There are too many Obitu in the Grey Kingdom, and looking for one specifically, is like looking for a needle in a needle stack.
While the Capt. was able to find a gunsmith Obitu, looking for only a single race made the smith think the Capt. was racist. After accidentally calling the smith a "boner" the Capt. is officially kicked out of the shop. So much for that idea.
Female Human Cleric/Harrower 5/1
"That's what ya get for being too vague."
Male Human rogue/group leader 5/1
"How many Obitus named jolly do you f*cking know?"
Female Human Cleric/Harrower 5/1
"We're surrounded by Pirates, the flag is called the "Jolly Roger," and you're looking for bones that take their names off of whatever they like. THINK FOR ONCE YA BEARDED GOOF!"
Male Human rogue/group leader 5/1
Maybe they should be more original! *tableflip*
Female Aasimar 5th barbarian/ 1st Oracle
Mishkara will chuckle at the party as they argue for a little as she was not able to get much from towns people. Perhaps We should find somewhere to head out to, that might let you find Old Jolly.
She will then stroke her birds head softly as the parrot is seated on her shoulder.
Female Human Cleric/Harrower 5/1
"I know a Rat that can help us."
Female Aasimar 5th barbarian/ 1st Oracle
Lead the way to this rat. The Sooner we do something the better.
Male Ratfolk (5) Plaguebringer Alchemist/(1) Pathfinder Chronicler
Shiver had been calmly brewing potions, enjoying himself as he read through his dusty tomes as his old, door rattled from the knocking. "Come in," he shouts, carelessly allowing whatever thug that might be outside to wander on in.
Female Human Cleric/Harrower 5/1
"What is that smell, ya dirty rat?!" Colette shouts as she enters the building. "Don't tell me ya actually picked up that Alchemy stuff!"
Female Aasimar 5th barbarian/ 1st Oracle
Mishkara will look around the room, Marco sitting on her shoulder with his head cocked before he spews off some random obsean sentence about someones mother and a rat.

Female Human Cleric/Harrower 5/1
Colette looks at the bird and mutters "I'll have to remember that one..." under her breath.
Male Ratfolk (5) Plaguebringer Alchemist/(1) Pathfinder Chronicler
Tilting his head, Shiver replies to the drunkard pirate, "Of course I did! I told you I was going to years ago! My old pappy and his pappy and so forth were ALL alchemists... but enough about me, how've you been you basket case?!" Glancing toward Mishkara, he notes that he did need parrot beaks for a new brew he was concocting, if the foul bird decided to speak anymore about parental figures and rodents.
Female Human Cleric/Harrower 5/1
"Oh, you know... Little of this, little of that. Point is we need a cartographer for our ship. I'll let the Captain tell you more."
Male Ratfolk (5) Plaguebringer Alchemist/(1) Pathfinder Chronicler
"Oh? Where is this so called 'Captain'?"
Female Aasimar 5th barbarian/ 1st Oracle
Right Behind us Mishkara will say as she steps to the side after giving her bird a look.
Artemis hears the female without the parrot mention the need for a cartographer. I hear you're looking for someone who can read make maps. Is the postion still open? Artemis asks as she approaches Colette.
Male Human rogue/group leader 5/1
Jonas (who is easily noticeable for being slightly taller then normal humans) steps Forth from behind the two and greets the rat and the elf after allowing Colette speak with her friend. Yes, the position is still open. I could do the job myself but the are people far more equipped for the task then I. Jonas speaks humbly.
If you are interested I will present you the rules of the crew and if ether of you accept, sign your name.
Aye, I'm interested in joining your crew. However, Sir might I get your name or shall I just call you Capitan.?Artemis replies moving towards Jonas.
Female Human Cleric/Harrower 5/1
"How did you get in Shiver's house?!" Colette screams at Artemis.
Male Human rogue/group leader 5/1
do you know this Woman, Ratman?!?!?!
Male Ratfolk (5) Plaguebringer Alchemist/(1) Pathfinder Chronicler
Shiver disinterestedly scans Artemis before glancing back to the good captain, "You need a cartographer? Simple work, simple work." Lying back in his seat, he slips in with sudden consideration, "If I were to do it, what would be in it for me?"
Female Aasimar 5th barbarian/ 1st Oracle
It would seem not. Mishkara will say as she muses to herself about the new crew members.
Female Human Cleric/Harrower 5/1
"I'll buy you a drink. You always liked your drink."
Male Human rogue/group leader 5/1
Well the obvious things of course, equal payment compared to the crew, free food and drink for life as long as you are a crew member and a small arm of your choice off of a ship we plunder if spotted by your eye.
If these catch your interest, Ill give you a parchment with the rules and spot to sign your name.
Male Ratfolk (5) Plaguebringer Alchemist/(1) Pathfinder Chronicler
"...I'll take that drink, Colette." Getting out of his seat, he looks over the pirate captain, attempting to gauge his motives.
Sense Motive: 1d20 ⇒ 17
Female Aasimar 5th barbarian/ 1st Oracle
Do you have the rules on you Captain Mishkara will ask as she resumes her position leaned on a wall gently stroking her birds chin.
Male Human rogue/group leader 5/1
No, I don't have the rules. do you think lawyers carries around a law book constantly?
Female Human Cleric/Harrower 5/1
*Snicker*
Colette laughs at what the captain said.
Female Aasimar 5th barbarian/ 1st Oracle
Kinda figured ya' would since we are still looking for member. Not a loss though. She will muse to herself.
Male Ratfolk (5) Plaguebringer Alchemist/(1) Pathfinder Chronicler
"Let's go get those rules then, huh? I want this out of the way."
Female Human Cleric/Harrower 5/1
"That'd be back at the ship, right? Lemme go get summin before we head back."
I need to get Sardines for Salty Pete"
Male Human rogue/group leader 5/1
Yes, let's go back there now. Afterwards, we'll drink to honor our new crew-mate.
Male Ratfolk (5) Plaguebringer Alchemist/(1) Pathfinder Chronicler
Shiver cheers, and then turns to start packing his things, "Actually... this will be a little bit, come back in about half and hour. There is much to pack!"
Female Human Cleric/Harrower 5/1
"We ain't going for days. We're coming back here. No need to pack... But if you want to then be our guest."
Male Human rogue/group leader 5/1
You don't have to prepare yet. But, I enjoy your enthusiasm. I grab the papers from the ship and meet you at the tavern closest to your house.
After a glorious battle with the captain of the Sentinel and a Paladin of the Gold Army, Capt. Jonas finds himself in possession of Golden Rule funds, firepower, and a baby gold dragon.
Male Human rogue/group leader 5/1
