Male Human rogue/group leader 5/1

After Jonas does the deed leaving the gold outside with Colette and Mishkara, He returns to the dock-master's house making sure to put everything where he left it. (the chest closed, the key on the belt, all the doors closed.) Then He returns to the ladies.
[b] lets get going, back to the bar. I need to lay down for a bit... [b]
We shall head to the bar to get some rest.
what was the profit for this mighty heist. besides the 10,700 "I put in the chest"

Female Human Cleric/Harrower 5/1

"I can't wait for a drink!" Colette says excitedly.

Female Aasimar 5th barbarian/ 1st Oracle

Aye, let us head out. I think some mead is in order.

Female Human Cleric/Harrower 5/1

"Mead? You must have a weak liver. Let me show you some real RUM!" Colette says as she begins to light up a cigar.

Male Human rogue/group leader 5/1

Knock it off, let's head to the bar. You both can have your drinks and I can get some rest. AFTER we split the earnings of course.
after which they all sit at a table in the corner of the room. Jonas takes his 10,700 gp out and started counting the rest.

Female Human Cleric/Harrower 5/1

At the tavern, Colette orders a pint of rum and waits impatiently on it.

"So how much did we get?" Colette asks as she puts out her previous cigar.

Female Aasimar 5th barbarian/ 1st Oracle

pushy, pushy aint ya Mishkara will say as she leans back after getting her drink.

Along with the 10,700 for the ship, there is an extra 6k, making 2k for the three members. Of course there was a little extra for drinks that night.

The next morning, the Red Raider sits in the harbor, awaiting her new crew. She could use a coat of paint and a few new ropes, that's for sure.

Female Human Cleric/Harrower 5/1

In the morning, Colette prepares her spells, buys breakfast for herself, then goes to feed Salty Pete as is her tradition. She goes beneath the harbor to where the old pirate lives, finding him mumbling and snoring in his sleep.

"WAKE UP YA LAND LOVER!" Colette shouts at the sleeping pirate and kicks him in the leg. "You'd be late to your own funeral!" she says as she starts getting Pete his favorite breakfast.

"I hate sardines." He says.

"Eat them anyway." She replies.

Afterwards, Colette heads out to the tavern. The entire time she is smoking a Cigar.

Female Aasimar 5th barbarian/ 1st Oracle

Mishkara will wake up and prepare for the day dressing in her armor and shinning her axe. She will meditate a little bit before she heads over to the tavern where they are to meet. She saves her part of the loot for a later date. She will smile and greet some people along the way but mostly keep to herself.

Male Human rogue/group leader 5/1

Jonas wakes up from his drunken slumber. after which, he sharpens his blade, gets dressed and finally, eats a warm meal.
Once he is done with his daily routine He head down to the docks and talks to one of merchants on the market lane.
Excuse me, would you know where I might get repairs and some supplies to my ship? diplomacy: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (4) + 11 = 15

"Mornin' Capt'n. You could speak with 'e 'Arbormaster for some good work, but I 'eard he got robbed las' night. As for some cheaper service 'at might not be as reliable, you could go see Devin. He's on wharf 7D down by the Blind Rooster Inn."

Male Human rogue/group leader 5/1

coin flip!: 1d2 ⇒ 2
1=harbormaster, 2=the blind rooster
Jonas shall head down to the 7D wharf,
hoping the wharfs are numbered
to grab some supplies and the needed repairs.
perception to find signs about selling ship wares or repairing ships: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21

Ship repair is abundant down on the D docks. The E docks are the dry docks where actual repair and salvage take place. D dock has general repair and maintenance.

It's easy to find the right guy. Repairs and paint can be finished in a couple of hours for the low low price on 1000 gold with a 2 year money back guarantee.*

*:
Money back guarantee is only valid if hull damage is the cause of basic travel. Damage from other sources-including but not limited to cannon fire, hull fire, rock damage, attack by pirates and/or privateers-is not valid and will not be a cause for the money back.

Female Human Cleric/Harrower 5/1

After heading away from Salty Pete, Colette heads to the local Orphanage and gives 100 Gold to it from her bounty. She then heads to the good Captain and tells him "I got a possible Cartographer for the ship. Just some Salty Pirate. He's been on plenty of ships, so he's got the experience. You want me to bring him to the ship when it's ready? Also, did you get the ship respec'd?"

Male Human rogue/group leader 5/1

Jonas hands over the 1000g and tells the man the info needed.

when Colette spots him and she asks the question.

Sure, I would like to talk to him first however. I like to personally meet those that will be joining my crew. and yes I have a man working on it now as we speak.

Female Aasimar 5th barbarian/ 1st Oracle

Mishkara will approach before asking, About how long will it take? I have a bad feeling that the Harbor Master might possibly suspect us, as we were the last ones there. She will say in a hushed tone.

Male Human rogue/group leader 5/1

"we also are not going to be returning there anytime soon. stay off the topic till it is a less... Well, cared for. Jonas said in a disappointed tone due to the fact she brought it up.
criminals always return to the scene of the crime. HAHA we're pirates, we steal then run. "that is the noblest and oldest of pirate tradition"

Female Human Cleric/Harrower 5/1

"So what are we going to do now, Captain?" Colette asks Jonas as she lights up a new cigar.

Male Human rogue/group leader 5/1

we are going to buy supplies, say enough meals for 31 people for a few months, most likely non perishable.... We also need longnines (cannons). Maybe a fancier hat? Maybe, a magical door that will take us to a paradise island! Jonas rants on and on about what we could be doing but, he does not know what he will be doing.

Female Aasimar 5th barbarian/ 1st Oracle

I have a few connections in town with one of the general stores, we can get some supplies there for dirt cheap if you would like.

Male Human rogue/group leader 5/1

Lead the way then. they better be at a quality though.

Female Human Cleric/Harrower 5/1

"Any Divination shops? Well, I wouldn't expect you to know that..."

Female Aasimar 5th barbarian/ 1st Oracle

it is good quality stuff. I think I remeber a Divination shop. She will think long and hard. nope She will then lead the party to the local shop.

knowledge local: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

Sure enough, Mishkara knows where to find a few good supplies.

The store's name is Shaker's General. Once inside, the walls are lined with damn near everything. General goods, food, weapons, armor, nearly everything.

As soon as Mishkara enters the building, there's a loud yell from the back. "GET THE HELL OUT OF MY STORE YOU WHITE-SKINNED B*TCH"

Female Aasimar 5th barbarian/ 1st Oracle

OH SHUT THE HELL UP YOU BASTARD I BRING YOU BUSSINESS OR ARE YOUR STILL SORE FROM LAST TIME! She will shout back.

"I was sore for a week, in case you were wondering." Out from the back comes an Orc in an over sized apron and clothing. "I still demand a rematch."

The Orc sees the others behind Mishkara. "And hello! Welcome to Shaker's General. These friends of yours, Mishkara?"

Female Human Cleric/Harrower 5/1

"Acquaintances. Co-Workers. You sell any Harrow cards?"

Female Aasimar 5th barbarian/ 1st Oracle

We shall have one later She will chuckle as she begins to look around the shop.

Female Human Cleric/Harrower 5/1

HEY! I can take my money elsewhere! And does anyone have Tobacco?!" Colette shouts as she stomps out her Cigar.

"Hold yer horses, I'm getting the sets out."

The Orc pulls out a large box with several full Harrow decks along with a lot of individual cards from other Harrow decks.

"It's 2 silver per card if you're building a deck from scratch or 8 gold for a complete set. Take a look, let me know when you're ready."

I'll say this now since you probably would, if you try to steal the cards, it's not gonna work. You can try. But it more than likely won't work.

Shaker looks over to the captain. "And what can I do for you my friend?"

Female Human Cleric/Harrower 5/1

Steal a harrow card? That's like stealing a bible! Totally wrong but people steal do it!"

Slight of Hand to steal the Bear card: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23

Cause that totally worked.

Female Aasimar 5th barbarian/ 1st Oracle

Mishkara will keep browsing the shop, looking for something of interest to purchase. She will look to the owner, what do you have in the means of magical weapons or something to enhance spell casting power.

Colette, when you pick up the card, you feel magic in and on the card. Spellcraft to recognize it.

"I'm no magic caster and you know it. You want magic weapons, find them somewhere else. As for spell casting, you lookin' for force of personality, will, or intelligence?"

Female Human Cleric/Harrower 5/1

I don't actually have spellcraft, so I can't tell what magic is plaguing it.

Colette puts the card back. Who in their right mind would magically enchant a 2 sp harrow card to prevent stealing? Something fishy must be going on there...

"Hey Captain, can I talk to you outside right fast? I want to light up a cigar."

After getting outside, Colette tells the captain that the cheap cards were magically enchanted. "I don't know what spell, that was never my strong suit, but I do know that magically enchanting a 2 sp card can never lead to a good deal. Especially in this district. Do you want to check it out?"

Female Aasimar 5th barbarian/ 1st Oracle

Nah, I already have one of those. She will notice Colette leave affter picking up the card and go over. She feels the magic on it and tries to identify it.

spellcraft: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22

Mishkara:
The magic is not anti-theft. It's in the card itself. While it's not a spell, it does point out the card from the rest of the deck if it was put into one.

Shaker will see Mishkara look over the decks and cards. "You thinking of going into Harrowing? I'm not one myself, but I've seen them in action.

"There was this one kid I knew. He was barely out of training. He thought he was all that with his shiny armor and blade. His first fight with a bear nearly took his leg off! He was in the hospital for a week. He was visited by a Harrower after that ordeal. Now I think he goes by the name of Hansen Bearslayer." Knowledge History, Religion, or Nobility to know this guy if you're interested.

Female Aasimar 5th barbarian/ 1st Oracle

knowledge religion: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28

Mishkara will look over to Shaker, Nah, just curious about them is all. I will be back I must go consult my co workers.

She will go outside to the party before talking in a hushed tone/ The cards have some sort of spell on them, not anti theft...some special spell that I could not tell. I have never seen anything like it before.

Male Human rogue/group leader 5/1

"Very well, Colette. Lead the way."
Jonas has had a lot of things on his head lately, feeling various variations of anger to losing his ship, The Ellida. The betrayal of his crew especially his first mate Roger.

He wishes that his cabin boy is alright after all of this. Without even needing to even know the captain very well, you can tell he is in distress. after awhile of walking to the harrowing store he asks Colette.

"What exactly is harrowing. In my travels Ive seen many a gypsy alike work with cards in strange ways but I have never been able to see the full purpose of it." Jonas says hoping to try and stay away from his spite filled memories.

Female Human Cleric/Harrower 5/1

"Harrowing is a fancy-shmancy way to perform Divinations. Seeing into the future, scrying, and simple luck are all major parts of Harrowing. My mother taught me, doncha know?" Colette responds to the captain.

She begins chomping on a new cigar as she asks "What do you think of the cards? What you want to do with them?"

Male Human rogue/group leader 5/1

Jonas continues to listen to Colette talk about the uses of harrowing.
As soon as she lists scrying as one of the uses of harrowing Jonas face lights up sudden realization. "Colette, I may have need of you and your scrying. But, I will mention my plans later. Too many open ears, too many prying eyes..." Jonas says in the hopes to return what was taken.

Female Human Cleric/Harrower 5/1

"Well that's fine and dandy, but what about the cards, captain?!" Colette says frustratingly.

Male Human rogue/group leader 5/1

"Gah, They are only 2 silver. Buy it if you would like but that seems like barrel scrap compared to other things we've done." Jonas says trying to avoid a fight.

Female Human Cleric/Harrower 5/1

"I don't think you understand, captain. These are under priced cards sold with magic attached. This magic can't be something as simple as a Cantrip or Orison. Now I might not be the brightest mage out there, but something tells me that this is a scam of some sort. Track the cards back to small time card-handlers and diviners and bully them into paying to them. It might be nothing, but it could be a fortune if we can figure out what they're doing here. Now captain, I ask you as sincerely as possible that we move on this!"

Male Human rogue/group leader 5/1

Very well then. perhaps, we will have some use for these cards on way or another. I could possibly ask the merchant where the cards may have came from if you'd like.
Jonas says even though he was hoping to buy supplies and get SAILING!!!!

Assuming you inquire about supplies for the ship, Shaker leads the Capt. to a room near the back. Sure enough, he's got the firepower Jonas is looking for.

Several long and short cannons line the walls, complete with price tags. The room has no doors besides the one you walked in from and no windows. There's no way out of this room without Shaker seeing you.

"I gotta watch the store, so let me know when you see something you like."

Female Human Cleric/Harrower 5/1

"I'd like to buy some of those Harrow cards when available."

Shaker slides the box a little closer to Colette. "Take your pick."

As before, there are several decks that are split into just the cards as well as three full decks.

You can attempt to steal the card if you want. If you do, we can use your roll from before or you can roll again.

Female Aasimar 5th barbarian/ 1st Oracle

Mishkara will look around the store Have any exotic type animals for sale?

"What does this look like, a barn? You're on the wrong side of town for that crap. You want a mount, you can get a horse from the other side of Dock. As for exotic animals, I have a few birds or a snake, nothing too fancy."
