Morgrym turns to look at the newest visitor and rolls his eyes in frustration. "By the gods, we've just blasted gotten here!" He then realizes it's RIGHT NEXT to Nasira. Concern and worry now infects his very being. "Oh <bleep>! It's right next to Nasira." The dwarf doesn't waste a minute and takes off straight for the massive demon. "Time ta die, demon!" he yells as he moves in and swings down hard with his earthbreaker.

Move 20'. And yep, he's gonna have to eat an AoO but he doesn't care. Well, unless it kills him of course. :P

Morgrym comes in to take out the demon but the demon is too experienced and advanced for such primitive tactics. It narrowly avoids the blow as it reciprocates with massive bite.

The room crackles with energy again as electricity shouts out hitting all within the room for 4d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 2, 5) = 16 electricity damage reflex dc 17 for half.

Arigoder then moves in for the demon as well. Wielding Radiance he manages to connect with 2 hits. Upon contact though magical energy slams into him. 80 damage dealt

The Bebiliths see the arcs of electricity and stand just out of range as they fire a pair of webs into the party.

Assuming the bebilith are flat footed as they have not "acted" yet.
I have always wanted a Cloak of Arachnida, so figured I would "purchase" it for this game since we started at a high level, so Damiel is not entangled / webbed.

Seeing the monster being surrounded by the creatures to the south, Damiel turns his attention to the two creatures coming in from the northeast opening and fires two arrows from his bow.


The bebiliths have gone as they are fully aware of you and are in fact the ones that shot the web at you. Therefore no sneak sorry.

Both arrows sink into one of the bebiliths. However they were caught unawares and the precision damage that Damiel was expecting was not there. The corrosive damage went through the armored hide of the demons but the arrow itself seemed to be impeded. DR 10/good but no acid resistance which means only 13 damage taken over all.

Arigoder is able to resist the effects of the magic ward protecting the Nafleshnee.

Ansha attempts to escape the webs that are entangling her...and manages to get herself even more entangled. "Ewww. Now it's all in my haaaairrrrr," she whines. "Someone get me out of this!"


The mage was out of the fight and the archer seemed to be ineffective at best. The dwarf was incapable of hitting him and 1 of the paladins was standing there dazed and unable to act. The woman next to the portal was chanting and incantation but did not seem able to do anything directly to the nalfeshnee. Focusing its energies it attacked the only credible threat to it at the moment. The paladin with the shining blade.

Morgrym is actually not raging. Just a copy/paste error on my part on my last attack post. Numbers are correct but the wording is not.

Although he finds himself ticked off that he can't hit this thing that's the size of a mountain, Morgrym remains unwavering in his assault.

Ansha continues to half-heartedly flail around in the webbing. As she does so, she masks the casting of a Persistent confusion (worse of two DC28 saves) spell behind her grunts and moans. The spell begins to take effect, and the two bebiliths feel cobwebs (metaphorical, of course) creeping into their thoughts.

I think I am actually completely out of mythic power uses for the day, assuming it's still the same day as the previous fights here at the Fane.


Arigoder resists the effects of the spell once again. From the north corner the bebiliths target Arigoder and Morgrym with the webs trying to help the nalfeshnee.

Ansha manages to get a spell off even while stuck in the webs. The bebiliths feel their minds slowly being overcome.

Nasira continues to focus on her task, relying on her allies to see her through this.

Anyone have a suggestion for something I should be doing here? I can't use a move or a standard action to do anything except hold the ring in place, so unless there's an action requiring a mythic point, I think I'm on hold.

Seeing that his first attack did not do much, if any damage, Damiel spends a mythic point to perform a Surprise Attack, in addition to his full attack on the bebilith he attack last round. "Lets see if this works better!"


That is not a crit Arigoder but if you want to spend a mythic point to add to the roll you will confirm. If you do then it goes down and I still need 2 fort saves from you.

Arigoder strikes twice with Radiance and ...

On the far side Daniel pulls out a surprising move and catches the bebiliths flat footed as he fires 3 arrows I got he creature. The first sinks in deep while the second just manages to singe it with the acid. The last arrow clangs off of it hard carapace.

Will see if Arigoder has a mythic point to use before I move on.

The nalfeshnee takes a mortal wound from Arigoder. The bleed pours forth and hovers in the air slowly until it picks up speed and heads towards the rift. Upon contact with the rift the nalfeshnee gets sucked into the void. The increase in power is unleashed as a massive blast of electricity.

The portal then dims as the electrical energy is spent.

Ouch. Mythic point can’t save that roll. DM Variel, Nasira will take an action. Using a mythic point to gain an action via Amazing Initiative, she will channel to heal, excluding the demons from her burst.

So she lost 31 points from the explosion (36 less electricity resistance) and gained 21 back for a net loss of ten.

Seeing Morgrym stepping forward to hold the line, the paladin steps up near him, ready to strike at anything that comes down the hall. As he waits, he whispers a quick prayer to Iomedae, calling on her assistance --- causing a celestial spirit to embrace Radiance.

Damiel, don't forget to take the healing for the channel that Nasira did. You were in range and not excluded, so you would gain back to full.

Because of my Abundant Healing ability, Garith has up to 24 points of healing available.

Reflex save for Garith since he's been quiet for a while: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (14) + 13 = 27

Garith gains six hit points net when the exchange is complete. Is he really at 36 hit points following that healing? How did we not heal him up before we came through the rift?

Sorry, Arigoder, you were also within that burst of channel energy, so you would receive 21 points of healing if you haven't already recorded it.

Is this some kind of weird trick this place plays on you? Or maybe this is the norm for demons in this rot hole. I feel like I should go smash 'em like the bugs that they are but if they're goin' ta do the job for me, I'm not so sure I shouldn't just stand here and watch." He sits and ponders that option for a moment before, "Well now I'm torn." A thought then suddenly occurs to him and a glare forms. "Wait a minute, I get it now. It's a trap. WELL I AIN'T FALLEN FOR IT DEMON! YOU'RE GONNA HAVE TO COME AND GET ME!" the dwarf yells, absolutely ready for when the bebiliths attack.

Ansha continues to half-heartedly struggle against the entangling webs, contenting herself with the knowledge that the bebiliths are under her spell (literally). Mindful of the spider-demons' sharp claws and fangs, she keeps the words to a dimension door spell at the fore of her thoughts.

Arigoder comes in hot and radiance is a blur or attacks as the first bebilith explodes in a whirlwind of attacks and damage. The w last bebilith just stands there drooling still wondering what is going on.

The gods have foiled Damiel as the arrow snaps in half as he draws it back. Cursing his luck he fires 2 more shots that strike the behemoth spider but they hardly do any damage to it as its infernal resistances take the blow.

Morgrym sees Arigoder having fun and tries for his own brand of excitement. The dwarf moves forward and strikes the spider swaure in one of its bulbous eyes causing it to recoil and focus its attention after being confused.

Fort: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (14) + 16 = 30 +2 vs poison if that's applicable. That's what I'd guess anyway. He's got a whole bunch of other +2's to various type of other specifics but poison would be my guess. Hopefully a 30 is enough and it don't matter. :P

Getting absolutely tore up, the dwarf roars in anger more so than pain. "Of course! First it's just goin' ta sit there, but now it's goin' to attack now that I'm here?! You gotta be frickin' kiddin' me." The dwarf swings down hard multiple times upon the demon, hoping to make it pay.

Are you using a mythic point to move to get full attacks otherwise you would just have a standard action after your move.
