Baub and Jetro put a quick end to the last barbarian as they deliver a broadside of magical and arrow attacks.

Duardlara sees magic upon the bararians and the sorceress. It seems the shirt the sorceress is wearing is magical along with necklace, cloak, ring, scroll, scroll, and potion.

The barbarians have magical armor, shield, weapon, and 3 containers each that are magical.

Each round you can identify an item Duardlara or you can just spend 2 full rounds on each enemy to gather all the items for later identification.

As you start to decide what to do with the bodies you get a urgent message from Commander Pharamol to report to the inner garden. 4 flying creatures have made it over the walls and have landed in the garden area. Hurry before the defenders are overthrown there in the towers!

It will take you 3 turns to get to the new position on the map at a double move.

Duardlara looks for a member of the fortress' guard. If she sees one, she shouts, "You there! These bodies need to be hidden from view! If more invaders find them, they will use these items against us!"

Meanwhile, she turns to Greta. "Don't get in over your head, dear." and casts fly on her.

So three double-move is roughly 180 feet. Baub and Duardlara give up their first move to cast a spell. Everyone else should be able to reach their destination in a double-move and a move now and if hasted Greta adds 30' to her 60' fly speed, she's there at the end of this round. Baub and Duardlara bring up the rear, arriving midway through their fourth turn, assuming no other magical shenanigans. Sound right?


Correct Duardlara that haste will allow you to make it there in 1.5 rounds. You and Baub will arrive are the end of round 2.

Calling upon his innate magics Baub haste the party to give them a boost of speed. Duardlara on the other hand gives Greta the ability to fly but offers her council not to outdistance the others.

You do see some other defenders on the fortress running back and forth carrying messages to other groups and relaying information back to commanders. You stop one of them and they nod their head in understanding, Will do ma'am. Once I deliver my message I will deposit the attackers under the snow on the other side of the entrance here.

That’s two full rounds per fallen foe. Are you grabbing everything or just one foe’s, or what? I didn’t want to take that much time, so I asked a soldier to hide them.


With the haste spell I will allow you to take a full round action to loot 1 body but you will not have any idea what the magic item is though. Also don't worry I will give you total rewards at the end of the siege attacks for all the enemies you have killed since this is a time critical situation.

I assume we are inside that tower and not on top of it.

Since Baub will stay back from the actual melee combat as long as possible he moves to the door and asks, "You ready?" Once he receives an affirmative he will open the door saving the others the time so they can charge into the courtyard.


Correct Baub. However if others want they will reach the door before you since you cast haste...if all are waiting the 2 rounds then I will simply move into init tonight.

I suggest that Greta reach the door and open it for the rest of the party to pass through without breaking their strides. Or Cynehelm could be the spellcaster that opens it while Baub and D'lara bring up the rear.

As for her actions, Duardlara is just waiting for us to get into initiative.

Once the door is opened it is clear to see that the flying creatures have already laid waste to the defenders on top of the towers. Human sized stone statues now stand where defenders once stood. A single captain remains on the nearest tower though fending off the dragonking fighting him. How much longer he can survive though is up to you!

Consider door already opened and then init starts to have at it!

Baub steps out the door and to the right before sending his spectral hand darting across the courtyard toward the dragonkin. "A little warping of the mind for you!" he calls out as the hand lays a piercing curse on the beast.

took you only 1.5 rounds so just combined it all to make it easy. Plus you are near the end so make sense. Baub clearly knows his way around which is why he went first lol. Jetro to you can get a line of sight to one of the dracolisks or the dragon kin

Greta moves up and lays a vicious strike upon the wing of the dragonkin The blow almost enough to snap the bones holding the wing in place. Meanwhile Jetro targets one of the extremely deadly dracolisks. the first arrow punctures through its defenses and slams into the belly of the beast hitting a vital organ. blood comes rushing out at the dracolisk howls in pain. Helgash meanwhile heals himself and Greta in preparation for the coming assault.

The closest dracolisk that Jetro hit flies to the entrance of the tower and glares balefully upon all who dare to exit the safety of the tower. Yet this is not all defensive as the dracolisk's gaze can turn even the most stalwart to stone.

Gaze attack takes affect on your turn if you look at it directly. Averting your eyes gives you a 50% chance to avoid the fort save vs petrification. Closing ones eyes negates the gaze attack but then the creature gains total concealment from you. Everyone but Greta is affected by this dracolisk.

The remaining 2 dracolisks fly to engage Greta and the remaining captain on the tower.

Greta need a fort save from you as well on your turn as the dracolisk is attacking you.

all 4 of you manage to protect yourself by sheer fortitude preventing any of you from turning into stone. After having withstood the dracolisk's gaze Manos moves into flank and skewers his foe hitting nerve causing his legs to spasm uncontrollably.

Cynehelm joins in the fun as he releases another admonishing ray striking the creature all 3 times. The nonlethal damage begins to pile up but does not seem to hamper the dracolisk yet.

The dragonkin hurtles after Greta for interrupting their attack upon the central towers with glaive posed to strike from up above. With massive power he brings it down trying to split Greta in 2.

Baub uses his rod of empower for the second time and casts Boneshaker on the dracolisk attacking Greta.

I believe that is Greta to the south facing off with a dracolisk and a dragonkin. The intent is to support her. Fortitude save DC 20 normally, +1 for bloodline arcana, final DC 21.

Combined with the previous damage dealt and the admonishing ray the dracolisk near the front tower drops to the ground unconscious. It is not dead by any means due to the nonlethal damage dealt to it however.

The dracolisk on Greta resists the majority of the damage from the potent spell but weakens it enough to see if Greta can finish the job.

A very large portion of the damage from the attack on Greta is transferred to Helgash, the woman simply laughing it away - "You are not the only ones with tricks" - she snarls.

She will attack the wounded Dracolisk, and then the Dragonkin if the Lisk goes down.

Helgash finishes the unconscious dracolisk making sure it will never rise again. Greta attacks another with gusto, her powerful muscles wielding the greatsword in seeping strokes. However there was more power than accuracy as only the second the attack hit.

The dracolisk on Greta targets her with the full round of attacks while the last dracolisk targets the commander with a gaze trying to turn him to stone.

Reflex DC 19 or Electrical Damage: 3d6 + 1 ⇒ (4, 3, 5) + 1 = 13 and second Reflex DC 19 or Electrical Damage: 3d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 4) = 12
