A call and response of wolf howls are heard, each perhaps 300 feet away, beyond little ridges and copses of trees.
Wilfort and Fluffy spot 3 much closer wolfs closing on the campsite from behind the cover of shadows and dense brush. The closest one is a mere 35 feet away before being detected!
DC 12 Perception for sleeping characters to wake up to the howling on time for surprise round.

Sleeping in his leather armor Ha! See! Andrek awakens to the sound of wolves and grabs his bastard sword and stands up, ready for battle even as he clears the sleep from his eyes.

Wilfort shrilly yells to wake the others, TO ARMS! HUNGRY CANINES ARE UPON US!! GET UP YOU LAZY LUGS!!!
Wilfort waits until the wolves get closer to use his magic upon them.
When one of the 3 wolves is 25' from WIlfort he will use Ear-Piercing Scream on it. EPS dazed and sonic damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1 DC 15 fort save will avoid dazed condition and 1/2 damage.

She snorts as she gets up and blinks. "What in the bloody Hells is going on, I mean can't a girl get her beauty sleep under the stars, with out some idiots making loud noises geez!"

The three wolfs close in on Wilfort! His spell goes off targeting the one that can reach him the soonest.
Fort: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
The wolf shakes off the dazing effect of the scream. It reaches Wilfort, bearing it's fangs.
5 more wolves come within sight, watching to see how the first three fare.
Two more can be heard howling maybe 300 feet away.

Andrek tries to recall what he knows about wolves and their tendancies, but his mind is still struggling to fully awaken. Andrek moves over to the wolf by Wilfort and brings his bastard sword down.

Jeb's eyes snap open upon hearing the Gnome's alert. He had made it a habit to sleep with his bow in his hands while camped when traveling. He stands up and takes in the camp, noticing the feral attackers encroaching on the party. Notching an arrow, he takes aim and firs on one of the wolves attempting to flank away from the main attack.
Jeb stands and fires, using Point Blank Shot and Deadly Aim against the wolf at L19

Ares glances back to see his brother take down one the wolves surrounding them. He smiles in reply, "Nice sword work brother, I'll make it around to flank them!" With that Ares charges the lone wolf on the other side, he brings down his bastard sword in a powerful blow.

Almost started to panic when I saw their trip rolls, until I noticed they didn't hit me first.

Sputtering gnomish curses, Wilfort decides to just stall the wolves since the others are showing how effective they are at killing them. He yells to get their attention.

Full defense so his AC goes up to 17 and his CMD is 16.

I'd like to take another step over to keep them out of this end of the wagon, but that would allow Tarvelin to be flanked. I think I will stay there so I at least get an AoO if one tries to get past.

Jeb quickly looks left to right to reassess the situation. Tracking the wolf he's already scored against, he follows it to its' destination. He then pulls and arrow and lets fly...

The Aasimar rushes towards the pack, and as he closes in on a wolf he holds his blade points forward preparing the stab the creature.
