Actually one of my players started a rather polite coup. I'll be giving up the GM's seat in favor of making a gnome luchadore. (maybe a halfling)

In reality he was upset about my floundering, and I've had enough crap hitting me that I've been distracted from GMing. He requested a switch, and I like playing better anyways.
As to the gnome luchadore, I was going through some old posts and somebody in my old group suggested it. I don't even know who, but it's one of those things that would work well in Xcrawl.

What do you think it's the best way to restart?

After some thought, I think the best way to go about it is that you were with them the whole time, but were focused on absorbing as much information as possible, and preparing your spells and cards for when investigation failed and divination would be needed.
As a side note: I really need to figure out what to do with your mother. Her vanishing should have great meaning, and I'm not sure yet what.

I'm glad you read them. I swear it's on my to-do list, but I'm in a semi-panic atm.
My social providers from the government suddenly called me and said "You need a job or we'll cut your funding." In theory I'm totally okay with this, I'm just reeling from the suddenness of it all. I haven't worked in years and those ones usually ended with projectile vomiting or metal breakdowns.
Perhaps that was too much info. I just need to vent.

I'm dropping protection from evil and magic weapon. 1st level spells, to get detect undead and hide from undead. Unless anyone has any better suggestions?
Also since we've not sold it yet, I suggest we let Brelin have the ring of force. +2 ac without requiring shield proficiency or with spell failure. A witch's best friend!

The ring of force shield. Found it after killing the big bad wolf.
Though you have to wield the heavy shield, since it doesn't have an armor check penalty or spell failure, anyone can use it even without proficiency.
Otherwise it does sell for a lot of monies. We were planning on selling it (along with some other stuff), but it didn't quite happen.
Oh yeah. The one that made an actual shield. Forgot about that.
I was still new to the group, so I kept my mouth shut about the treausre ;)

I have no clue why the search thread isn't working. I wanted to dig some stuff up as well and it just wasn't working.
Fun fact: Way way wayyyy back, Furnok arrested a conman named Tabe by chopping his leg off. Tabe as written is one of the three murdered. Whoops.

Which is not true. You're practically immortal cuz I'm too scared to lose players. You just might end up suffering weird curses and stuff instead.
