Enchanted weapons are merely a descriptor of the level of craftsmanship. Your weapons and armor are only considered "magical" when they have an effect on them. These are fantastical pieces and are very rare. A +1 Longsword is simply a very finely made sword.
Enemies are common enough. No one really views Amerys as a friend but other from Amerys. They are disrupting the order of things. No one really likes that, but some are more accommodating than others.

That makes two.
Harkwyn? Erasmus? Anything else you'd like to know?
Oh, I will give you this too:
Actions have consequences. This a world populated by real people. If you speak too boldly to the king, he may cut out your tongue. If you save a farmer's daughter from bandits, you might get to marry her. etc. Be mindful of the potential outcomes of your actions.

I am posting to the game thread now. I will allow character knowledge questions through the end of the day. After that, knowledge will be gained "on table" as it were.
In the mean time, please role play for a bit and make your way to the ship within two hours or risk being late. You can speak to anyone and everyone you see. I cannot promise they will speak back though :)

I am really waiting for the Stonecasts and Mortimer to get to the boat. However, a roleplay bit popped up and introductions are happening. I've been waiting for Harkwyn to answer.
This is DEFINITELY a player driven campaign.
I have no less than 5 options available at all times. I try to make them known, but some are based on player initiative. You guys decide what's going on and I'll reveal the consequences.
Right now, there are two options: Go to the boat on time, or don't.

Erasmus, based on map positions, I had you attacking a different target. Both hits on you are still negated as offensive defense is not target specific. Good call!
However, please do add your ac, saves, and health to your paizo profile, please. If you could, add ac with and without offensive defense so I can adjudicate more easily. Thanks!
Mortimer, some barbarians can rage after becoming fatigued, and others have been known to ignore the effects of fatigue and exhaustion while raging. :)

I put my max HP, base saves, and base AC in the stat block. Thing about Offensive defense is that it varies, since it's the number of sneak attack dice rolled that round. This round it was +8, next round it will probably be +4. I'll toss it into the stat block at the end of all my combat posts. It'll looks osmething like this:
AC:29 (+1 shield, +5 dex, +5 armor, +8 dodge (7 offensive defense, 1 dodge).
Does that work for you? In total offensive defense at this level is going to be either +4 or +8, so I could put them both, but that seems like it could get rather confusing and cluttered.

If you follow the links all the way down the rabbit hole in that discussion, basically it looks like the publishers are still arguing. I don't think it's totally broken, since it's limited by the rogue's ability to hit, but your call.
| Harkwyn Stonecast |
In my own game i have a rogue who makes the same case. He says it means number if dice rolled but i tell him every time its only the max die of sneak attack available at that level. Its a really useful ability for sure even then but noo ther class has ab ability that levels or stacks like that. Id leave it to the dm call but every other ability in the game defends on level rather than just how many dice are rolled. A good example is power attack which only receives a certain bonus to damage based on levels. I usually stick between fighters cavalier rangers paladins and barbarians so i can't speak for all the other classes ib terms of abilities like Offensive Defensive. Other than monk. I fricking hate monks

So, tomorrow (Monday) I'm moving from California to Japan so I'm unsure of how much I'll be able to post for the next couple of days to a week. I know this is really s&%~ty timing what with the upcoming mission and all, feel free to move me as you see fit, my vitals are all on my character page or the myth weavers sheet I linked. Sorry to just mention it now.

I'm not sure if I've mentioned it already or not, but here goes:
1. I will roll perception checks for you when necessary, but I will never roll an active perception. If you want one, roll it.
2. I will never prompt a Knowledge check. Roll them at will.
3. I will almost never prompt a sense motive roll. If you don't believe someone, or want to know what they are like as a person, roll it.
***If you roll these and I do not respond, you can assume you failed or there is nothing to see/know/feel.
That is all :)
