"Now is not the time for training and tests. I am looking for landing options and suggestions."

AJTD1 starts his holorecorder....
....An image of master Yoda comes into being in the old temple of the Jedi...

"Welcome to the palace of the Jedi! Brave you must be, a great challenge have you."-Yoda holorecording

"Focus on where you are! What you are doing!"

Spoiler:
You just got re-directed by a droid quoting Yoda....

oooooh snap!
Gunnar nods.
"You are correct. Wearing a lightsaber openly in public would be quite unwise. Which is why I only do it on the military vessel where I am a lieutenant commander and everyone knows who and what I am already."
Gunnar took the hand proffered by Quen.
"I'm glad to meet you, Master Pah. You surely have some stories to tell of that time! I wish we Jedi did not face such trying times again. Look, let's just forget this all happened and start over, as brother Jedi. There are so few of us left, we can't afford any hostility. AJ, I have some suggestions for landing. We could hit the capital, Tel Bollin, and it would be easier to find who we're looking for, but the ship would be vulnerable to theft. Alternatively we could land out in the wilderness, which would leave the ship safe but make our task more difficult. There's also a trading post, which would be...somewhat in between those two options. I'd hear your thoughts, friends."

UTF to Search Feelings 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (9) + 17 = 26 to see where the Force would guide them.

Quen Pah:
You sense that the Trading Post though it may create a difficult trek in the short term would be the wisest action in the long term...

Nice a dust up among Jedi the Sith really have put you all into trying times! :-)

.As perhaps the trading post would be the most prudent place to laND

" that seems agreeable to me."

"Strap in I am setting us down.

Remember Gunnar, it might due well not to carry your lightsaber out in the open. states the healer.

Gunnar nodded, then indicated the blaster on his hip.
"Good point. I'm hoping it won't come to violence, though."
Gunnar moved the lightsaber to an easily accessible pouch, an area he was quite practiced in drawing from.
"Shall we?"

Also, be wary of using titles, we do not know who is present and listening.

Gunnar quirked an eyebrow, thinking that obvious, but said nothing.

Caleb wiggles his fingers in a comic manner implying that someone could manipulate others by the force. Of course the Jedi didn’t plan to do such a thing, but he was in the mood to tease the newcomer that he still didn’t trust.

When the ship starts to shake due to landing protocols, Caleb quickly finds a somewhat safe and stable spot to move to.
He had, of course heard the legends about Jedi’s landing a half destroyed enemy carrier after rescuing the chancellor and driving off the enemy general. Such things were legends, of course. So instead of hoping for such daring entrance, he focus on clearing his mind to adapt to any possible adverbial situation AJ landing might cause.
Let’s assume Caleb was used to those smooth landing, and that 3 in the dice is certain to cause some trepidation!

Once the ship lands AJ first encrypts the controls then moves to remove the main power cell thermo couple.....

Which he places into a hidden compartment in his torso...

"It is completed."

The counselor will exit the ship.

Gunnar will also leave the ship, assuming he was inoculated at some point.

Yes I believe you were in orbit if not we will assume you were as there is plenty of spice here to do so with.

Endregaard - Day 1

As AJTD1 begins his descent a crosswind batters the the Shadowfire unexpectedly. However, the expert Pilot is able to settle the ship down with little trouble roughly a half mile from the Outpost.

AJTD1 disables the vessel and you all disembark. The air here seems fine though it is a bit warm and dry planet side. After a brisk walk you find yourselves at the edge of the Outpost which consists of 10 buildings. You see nor hear anything but the wind.

Gunner Wisdom Check DC 13:
You remember a report discussing abandoning the outposts as being too dangerous to secure under the current crisis.

Perception check DC 10:
You see a man's corpse seated in a window gazing across the Outpost. His lifeless body is desiccated likely due to the plague.

Perception check DC 13:
Looking into the buildings you see little of value left. It seems this place was evacuated and has been for an indeterminate amount of time.

Perception check DC 16:
IN a garage which you need to force open you find a repulsorlift cargo holder. It should be able to carry the group, your gear, and the medicinal spice provided that you can get it operable again.

Perception check DC 20:
At the center of town is a holonet console from which you can find a map to nearby Tel Bollin. About a day's journey by local transport or three days on foot.

Wisdom Check: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Perception: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (16) + 13 = 29
"I'd be on guard. I remember the outposts being reported as extremely dangerous."

Gunnar finds a garage that, after a quick glance to see they are not observed, he forces open telekinetically. Inside he finds a repusorlift.
"I'm not really mechanically inclined but if one of you could get this working I think it would be quite helpful!"

Gunnar leaves the repulsorlift and finds a holonet console. He downloads the map to his data pad and informs the group of his discovery.

1d20 + 12 ⇒ (11) + 12 = 23 Perception

The counselor will shake his head in sadness at the death that has taken place here, thinking back to himself about his experience in the Clone Wars and the Dark Times. Seeing that Gunnar has found a repulsor lift he will suggest that the droid take a look at it. AJ, look at the machine please, and if possible get it running.

Perception 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22

AJ notes both the transport and the active system online nearby....

"Given the circumstance the transport assuming operational at the onset of the outbreak should be functional now."

Repair 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (7) + 13 = 20

The counselor will reach out in the Force, trying to hide his presence but trying to get a feel for what is going on.
utf 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (12) + 17 = 29

Endregaard - Day 1

ATDJ1 based on your assessment of the condition of the transport you will be able to get it operational though it will take the better part of this day to do so leaving you all to either: (1) travel by night or (2) wait until the next morning to travel to the capital city.

Quen:
You sense desperation and hopelessness from this planet. Not surprising based on the situation. This medicinal spice that the group has brought may well alleviate that condition somewhat but it is hard to forsee.

Is he able to determine if there are other force sensitives around other than these who are with him? Is it just me, Gunnar, Caleb and the droid left?

"Estimate craft readiness at dark."

The droid pulls a high speed cutting torch/weilder...out of himself and begins the exteneive repair....

"It seems this transport was abandoned here due to critical system failure. Stay in contact."

Would it be be wise to travel at night in this area? the counselor inquires.

"Perhaps not. Maybe a quick security sweep of the vicinity, followed by rest for part of the team in rotation. "

Quen Pah wrote:

Quen:
You do not sense the presence of any other Force users nearby.

Endregaard - Evening 1

A second sweep of the outpost reveals that you four are the only beings here.

AJTD1:
Make a Repair Check DC 19 to get the transport operational.

Already did....

1d20 + 13 ⇒ (18) + 13 = 31

I believe that this is a defensible posistion, unless we stay the night in the ship and embark in the morning. says the knight.

Is it possible to put the carrier in the cargo hold and stay in the ship for the evening?

I'll have a post in some minutes, sorry for being away, rought days at work and college.

"Staying in the ship would likely be much safer."

Then I suggest that be our course of actions.

Pulling out his blaster, Caleb makes a point of re-searching all the structures for any secret compartment or passage. No sense in risk being taken by surprise.

While AJ works in the repair he suggests. ”Quen, you say with the AJ while me and Gunnar make some rounds.” What Caleb wants to know is if someone has been travelling here recently and if there’s a trail, which direction it leads.
Not sure which test to perform, so I’m just gonna roll a Perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 13, wow! I see the entire world!

You don't even know that you have underwear on, lol How perceptive.

I have reached out in the Force and have detected no other Force users here. However, allow me to see what life, if any, I can detect.

UTF 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (13) + 17 = 30

"Many such places teem with life, minor and intricate, I tutored this subject unfortunately the knowledge was displaced...."

"Once the transport is operational, we can return to the ship, spend the night and load a portion of medical spice I for see we may have need of it...."

Gunnar will patrol with Caleb, reaching out with the Force to see if anyone is around.
Use the Force: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (9) + 17 = 26

Endregaard - Evening 1

AJTD1:
Sorry missed it but good second roll!

The Jedi trace and re-trace their steps through the outpost. They are quite sure that the place is abandoned and any wild animals nearby are scavengers who pose little danger to this group.

If you have to fail a Perception check Caleb that was the one to fail!

Once the Jedi return, AJTD1 has completed the repairs on the cargo transport. The group uses it to return to the ship and stay there overnight.

Endregaard - Day 2

The evening passes by uneventfully, the scanners of the ship pick up some small life forms roaming around but nothing that caused any harm.

Do you load the spice and head to Tel Bollin in the morning?

I would think so

"Secure yourselves as you are accustomed. Master Yoda used the force."

With that the droid secures himself with the five point restraint and sets off....

The counselor will adjust himself and prepare for the next stage of his journey.

"Ready when you are!"

"Do not say you were not warned."

The droid sets a course and pace that would make speed racer proud and takes a less than direct route....

Pilot 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (3) + 16 = 19

Endregaard - Day 2

The Droids pace is quick indeed the wind whips the faces of those within the vehicle and more than a few times the Jedi turn around to make sure that the cargo is still attached to the transport. As you come cloer to the city you are forced to slow the pace.

A dark haze hangs over Tel Bollin - a lingering reminder of countless burned bodies and homesteads. You pass smoldering wreckage in outlying areas as you continue towards the center of the city. The air smells like ashes, and the rising smoke stings the eyes.

The streets are mostly deserted, except for beings in heavy clad robes. Their identities, even their species, are hidden beneath the robes. They seem to be moving about furtively, as if to avoid disturbing the ghosts of the recent dead.

A combat landspeeder whirs by, marked with the insignia of the Corporate Sector Authority and transporting a gray uniformed rider. The rider pays you no mind. A speaker on the side of the landspeeder announces that the vaccinations are available at some emergency relief area for any people with red tags of series 1200 to 1500. Overhead, three IDR's soar across the blackened sky.

Gunner Knowledge Bureaucracy DC 15:
You seem to remember that a system of vaccination was being set up though how was below your pay grade so you did not pay it much mind. The CSA relief effort is centered on a sporting field in the southern sector of the city.

You have arrived, now where to?

"Shall we drop cargo at the designated emergency relief area? And if so did anyone catch or know that location?"

AJ tries to tune into any open communication systems to see if procedures are being broadcast...

"I have no idea my good AJ" Caleb says grinning "It'd say to trust the force and see where it takes us." he says looking to the councilor, which he knows is his better at force manipulation.

Knowledge Bureacracy: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17
"There's a sporting field in the south of the city. That's where we set up shop with our relief efforts."

The counselor will use the force to sense his feelings about where they might go

utf 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (1) + 17 = 18

"Got it sports field south side of the city."

The droid flies up and over the main area to get a good look at the landing field.
