AJTD1: "AJ" tutoring droid 1 |

AJ goes over the various control systems, outputs, monitors, and other things close to the pilot's chair....
"As you can clearly see all the systems are running and nothing seems out of sorts. I can load some scenario trainings into the system when we are less busy. As it is now this will have to be watch and learn. Notice the other chair has most of the same controls."
"Of course running scenarios in actual flight is a bad idea, unless of course you can do it to an opponents vessel!"

Gamemaster the Light Side |

AJTD1 successfully enters the coordinates and the familiar sight of the stars streaking across the viewport folds into the wormhole of hyperspace travel.
According to the computer, it will take 10 days to arrive at Honoghr. This will give you ample time to grasp the pilot lessons the Droid is offering as will as create a cover story for your meeting with the Hutt.
Sorry for the long delays, brutal week. My posting should become more regular again starting next Monday.

The droid runs a diagnostics scan of the entire craft and then does a walk through, even removing panels at times to check all the wiring, spanners and couplings.
He inspects the shields and notes he could boost them and later on make them regenerating...by adding redundant systems.
He goes over the engine room twice, checking and rechecking the hyperdrive tolerances, the atmospheric thruster and combat thruster systems.
The med bay could use updates as well and having no droid repair team is a deficiency since no one else seems to have piloting or mechanical aptitude.....
AJ decides that boosting the shields, such that they are is the only thing he can do while the ship is in hyperspace.
"Query? Does this ship contain a hidden storage space?...schematics and diagnostics do not indicate one."

Caleb Rook |

With quite a few time until they arrive at their destination Caleb finds himself sparring with the newly unfrozen Jedi, even inviting Mao to join them. Between themselves and a bit of improvisation he shows the others the basics of both blocking a lightsaber, as well as deflecting a shot from a blaster. The Kel Dor is a quick enough study, being the more combat-inclined of the three, but even the more diplomatic Quen seems to pick it up quickly enough. Still, it would require more practice if they are to use such skills at a moment's notice.
"Should it? I do not recall Master Wolf saying so," Caleb says conversationally, having just finished a sparring session. "Perhaps we should add one or two? Being respectable ne'er-do-wells and all."

Gamemaster the Light Side |

You arrive at Honoghr after a ten day trip, the planet is not far from Kessel and its infamous spice mines. As you exit hyperspace you begin to circle the planet. From space the planet appears to have a dark violent swirling tint with smaller patches of white surface.
In orbit, a space station catches your attention just as you catch its attention, the station attempts to hail your ship.
Unidentified craft, state your purpose for arrival.
Make a Knowledge Galactic Lore check to see what you know of this planet.

Mao Yuul |

Sorry for the absence...
During the sparring training
Mao is grateful for the showing of Caleb's abilities, finding it useful even if it was not his style of fighting. Mao trusted his speed and constant movement to avoid enemy attacks... it had worked so far, even if blocking and deflecting are more safer approaches.
At Honogr's orbit
"Now our task truly begins and we shall move carefully..."
Mao closes his eyes and concentrates on the surrounding and on the space station. He then tries to search for his feelings about landing on the space station as well as sense the presence of other force users present there.
Use the Force (Search Your Feelings): 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (1) + 17 = 18
Keen Force Sense Re-roll: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (12) + 17 = 29 Final score 29.
Use the Force (Sense Force): 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (4) + 17 = 21
Keen Force Sense Re-roll: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (20) + 17 = 37 Final score 37... Wow I thing no Force User will be able to hide from Mao!

Gamemaster the Light Side |

The station responds.
"We have been expecting you Pilot Droid designation AJTD. We will bring you in with a tractor beam. There you will meet with the representative who informed us of your arrival".
Within a few moments, you feel the power of the beam pulling your ship to the space station.
Mao.
There are no force users on that space station, however, you do sense the presence of force users on the far side of the planet.
You sense no immediate danger for you on the Space Station.
You ship lands without trouble at space dock H17. In the dock alongside your ship is a small shuttle with markings in Huttese identifying the ship as one belonging to Popara, a Hutt caravel.
As you lower the ramp standing in the docking bay is a protocol droid. The protocol Droid is jade green, "Greetings I am H-3PO Emissary of Popara. Popara's Major Domo I fear is indisposed at the moment so I shall bring you to meeting with my Master, may his eyes always be bright and cogent!"

Gamemaster the Light Side |

Landing Bay H17
H-3PO responds, The majordomo of Popara, may his eyes always be bright and cogent, is Vago the Hutt. Normally he would be here greeting you, instead I am to direct you to the shuttle located behind me so that you may meet with Popara. I am correct in understanding that you are one of the parties interested in the Master's offer?"

Sigh... Since this is not exactly good news, I may as well do it the band aid way.
It seems work and real life have gotten quite busy indeed as of late, leaving me with far less time and energy than expected. This unfortunately leads me to the conclusion that I am lagging behind in my various games much more than I am comfortable with. And it does not seem as if it will be improving any time soon. So I have to cut down on the number of PbPs I am in and withdraw from some of them lest all of them perish.
This is one of those games.
So please remove any aliases of mine from the Current Characters roster so the campaign goes to the Previous Campaigns list.
I thank you for all the fun and I do sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this brings to the GM and my fellow players.

No worries Castor, good luck getting things under control!
I will put out a new Recruitment thread for a Jedi.

AJTD1: "AJ" tutoring droid 1 |

The droid moves to walk ahead with the other droid...
"I will make arrangements for our meeting and eventual departure."
Begins listening to droid communications to find out from the droids any increase in space transport, beings on the planet maintenance and security routines. Which systems are droid ran and which are not....

Gamemaster the Light Side |

H-3PO halts and responds to AJTD, "Oh you will be accompanying me to the Master's barge on the shuttle behind me. If you are ready to depart, we can go".

AJTD1: "AJ" tutoring droid 1 |

The security measures though place him and his allies in increased danger and distance from the ship, it is likely standard. The droid relays the information to the ship so that the computer can affix the array and can continue to communicate from the other ship.
"We will be meeting on the ship above by way of this shuttle."

Gamemaster the Light Side |

Recruitment update. I ave found a literal replacement for Caleb. He will take over Caleb Rook as a PC and when he is ready, bring his own character into the game and retire Caleb.
The Imru Ootmian
You board the shuttle with H-3PO. The shuttle windows afford you a view of space as you leave the station and travel to the far side of the planet where...
" That is Popara's ship, The Imru Ootmian"
The Ubrikkian Space Yacht is a sleek vessel of polished chrome, resembling a dagger held up against the backdrop of stars. Your shuttle moors alongside the space yacht, and the doors open.
H-3PO motions for you to follow down a broad hallway that leads to the audience chamber. "You should consider it an honor that Popara, may his eyes always be bright and cogent, wishes to speak with you himself. These days he generally transacts all business through Vago his majordomo.
As you walk down the corridor the doors to rooms have been left open. Beings of different races can be seen lounging or playing numerous games of chance. The interiors of the rooms are finely furnished, with doorways carved of rare woods and art objects from across the galaxy. Some of the more well crafted pieces sit in alcoves within the hall itself each tastefully lit with different colors.
Considering the origins of Popara's business this yacht is in pristine condition and the crowd seems rather relaxed. This is not at all how most Cantinas in Hutt space operate.
As you reach the audience chamber two Gamorrean guards block your passage.
They speak,
H-3PO translates, "Would you consent to a search for weapons?"

So, I’m still getting familiar with the game, and I’m also having a bit of trouble in finding the right rulebook set for this system, would anyone be kind enough to point me a link of and web-reference if there’s one or an amazon/rpgdrivethru link to the book itself?
Calleb has a Lightsaber and a Blaster pistol. Is the lightsaber considered the ‘Jedi’ weapon? I mean, is there any way that I could be recognized as a Jedi just by having one of such weapons?

Mao Yuul |

Knowing that if anyone found his lightsaber it would mean for sure they were Jedi, Mao tried to hide his weapon within his cloak. He also 'tried' to hide his pistol, but just slightly, with hope that once found, any more searches would be improbable.
When trying to conceal a weapon, do we use their 'actual' size? If so, which would be a lighsaber size for the bonus to a Stealth (conceal item) check?
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26 +appropriate bonus.
