One last thing: Velas, in your class bar, please list the following in your "Classes/levels" bar on your profile:
Skills/Domains/Resistances
When I roll fallout I roll the 1d10 plus your resistance so that it's accommodated automatically. I also only roll fallout against your total stress in that stress pool. It doesn't fit the fiction to get so beat up that a little scare drives you crazy, or get so embarrassed that falling down breaks a bone.

Ha okay, just read the Idol's bonds - that's pretty unexpected!
Jokes aside, I'd be happy to play into it. I've never played a male character that was anything but strictly heterosexual, but pretty much because I've never even thought about doing anything else. And while I certainly don't see Thusiax as homosexual, elves, from what I understand, are a little more fluid in their sexuality than humans. In fact, where I've had (have) other characters who are pretty obviously sexual, I think Thusiax has been pretty asexual in my mind so far - him asking Zaria to dinner just now felt more about buttering up his useful NPC bond rather than chasing action.
It could be played really ambiguously, so it could be hero-worship from a person who is largely disdainful of his society, it could a person who feels that they have so many identities that they have none at all wanting to be the Idol (or somebody, anybody at all), it could be some kind of underlying attraction or romantic interest, or something else entirely. I'm happy not to put a label on it, and explore it gently or not at all. But it could be expressed implicitly in the roleplaying. Say, if the Idol gets kidnapped, Thusiax may be somewhat irrational about wanting to rescuing him. That may be all that needs to be expressed.
Bear in mind it says nothing about the Idol having reciprocate, or acknowledge those feelings.
I think the main thing is that everyone's comfortable playing the game. If anyone finds even the concept of this stuff weird and discomforting, I'm happy to leave it out. I'm pretty easy with whatever.
Speak up if you're keen to field this one Clive :)

First post here! Yes, the main issue here is consent--I don't want to lord over another character, so this will be handled delicately. :) We can always use the X card as needed. Still getting assembled, and I have a busy busy day today at work, um, mixing songs about dogs, so I'll get to Velas' dark and twisted backstory soon enough.
Velas
I, too, haven't played a male on here that wasn't anything but heterosexual--now there's a discussion in the making on how cishet male players will play a somewhat asexual or LGBT-leaning female character, but not a gay male. (Guilty as charged, even though my half-orc female bloodrager is a tough cookie and fun to play.) . Certainly when I've had other characters erm, touch my characters with no consent, it felt very untoward (and was super eye-opening.)
Well! We'll dust that aside for the moment, be mindful, and see what happens.
Thusiax
So we'll need to work out how we know each other well enough that Thusiax has feelings for Velas. Thusiax gets out and about often enough, so could have met at one of Velas' performances, or it could have been through Ministry activity. Or something else entirely.

Great work GM, that was a fun mission! I can see how the game would be pretty deadly if you were considering all stress a single unit for fallout.
So where to from here? Do we start to dream up our own missions and try to implement them, or do we continue to take direction from Keira? I'm assuming you want to keep running the game, GM... I'm definitely up for more Spire if you are.
The Ministry
That is up to you. There’s a continuation of this mission that we can dive into, or you can pursue your own agendas of chaos/toppling the regime. I’ve also seeded a few threads that I can elaborate on if you want something new to do.
Also, you three have changed the Spire in a small way. You can take a low advance.
Thusiax
@GM Did I mention Thusiax was a follower of the Masked God in Appendix A? I meant to. I'm thinking about taking an advance or two from there if you approve, maybe not this time around, but in the future. Let me know what you think.
As for missions, I'm pretty easy with whatever. I'll start trying to think of my own ideas for future missions and mention them to you in advance, so you can prep something if you like them.

Sorry, between this weekend being super busy and being sick today, I failed to post earlier.
I am going to take The Secret of Loose Tongues.
As far missions go, I think we should probably take something new, since Thusiax drew some suspicion from his benefactor for mucking around in the gardens, but if he doesn't care about that, then let's make sure the fruit gets flowing!
The Ministry
The next stage of this mission is unrelated to the Garden, if that makes a difference. It'll begin in Red Row.
If you'd prefer, there's some strange goings on in Grist. Clive, you haven't heard from Jasper in quite some time.
There's also some rumblings of a possible bit of leverage in The Works. A drow ironworker has risen to a position of slight authority at a large forge. He may be able to be convinced to produce weapons for the Ministry or sabotage the gear of the Aelfir.
Thusiax
I'm not fussed, so long as Thusiax doesn't have to go to the Garden too soon. But the ironworker thread sounds good in the meantime. We're definitely not done with Michael and the fruit smuggling, but following up something different for a bit might be the way to go. Shall we go with the ironmonger?

That sounds good. Also:
Posting this to all my games: Sorry for the lack of posting. For the second time this year, I got the flu, and the internet is out at my house right now (where it has been for the last two days). It should hopefully be resolved by Monday, and if not I'm going to switch ISPs. Please feel free to bot me until I am back up and running, and if I am running your game, I haven't forgotten about you!
Thusiax
GM, I was going to pick the low advance One Eye Open, but I still haven't put it on my sheet, largely because I'm unsure how much combat there will be in this game, if any. If we do get into some scraps, I'd like to be able to contribute, but if battles are going to be rare as hen's teeth I'll probably take Institutional Falsehood, as it looks fairly useful. Let me know what you think.
The Ministry
I'm very sorry to have to do this (and to have taken so long to pull the trigger on this) but due to changes in my work schedule I'm just not in front of the computer long enough to run games any more. I can still play (since playing is easier to do from mobile) but I can't give the games I manage the proper attention.
If anyone wants to take over this game, let me know. I'm happy to pass off GM reins to anyone who wants to take over.
