Hey in a few other games people are getting free retrains to unchained versions of their characters. Maybe you could upgrade to the Unchained Monk Mickey? Is that ok with you DM? Full BAB, a better flurry, d10 hit die would really bump up the monk side of the gestalt maybe.

I don't mind if you want to use the unchained version, go for it.

I could use that on the condition that we /not/ require tatsuo to use unchained summoner. Cuz it sucks.

unchained is optional right now. at least with regard to classes.

I am not forcing anyone to change to the unchained version.

So Mickey, are you going to make friends with the frog or should we head done the middle path?

I wasn't sure how to bring this up... but I would like to pick up the pace on this game.

To be honest there are some that don't seem to be very involved and I feel it is slowing the game enough to cause people to loose interest.

If any of you don't really want to continue or not thrilled about picking up the pace. let me know I can start to look for replacements and get this thing moving along.

I don't like being a "dick" but I want to make this game a success and to do that it takes both my involvement as well as the players.

I will move the game along tonight toward the center passage unless I hear otherwise from someone.

I have a RL game tonight so no time to post.

my RL game, we are about to enter level 5 of the Emerald Spire super dungeon (I am gm)

What do you think of the dungeon thus far? I've seen it in stores/on paizo's website, but I haven't played it and don't own it, so I'm curious.

it is fun. we try to finish 1 level per game night. and the levels are small enough to allow for that.

we abandoned most of the little side quests throughout the mod to keep things moving. and we ignored a lot of the inner level politics between the different groups.

my group is thinking of trying that next, how many hours does a normal session go? my RL group plays via skype/d20pro and we play for 3 hrs or so a session, half the time we're lucky if we get through a single combat! But we are in book 6 of Carrion Crown so the fights are kind of nasty....

I have a feeling Mickey is about to get nommed on, anyways...

He doesn't like frogs as much. He really prefers things with fur...

But, I'm cool if he gets swallowed up. Be pretty sweet if he can fire kick his way out of a frog...

Huh, there are politics? I kind of assumed it was just one, really big dungeon crawl. Which I guess it could still be and have politics.

I'm also not sure a medium sized frog can swallow a medium sized person. Although it would be amusing to see it try, which certainly looks like the direction we're headed in.

It can't. Would have to be at least large size.

We fought medium frogs earlier, so I'm assuming that if there's just one it's bigger/more threatening in some way.

If there's one rule set I know, it's Swallow Whole. XD
It's one of my favorite things about Pathfinder/RPG's in general, and a large reason why Summoner is my favorite class.

I can name most if not all of the classes that have access one way or another. :3

It makes me sad that it's not something Wildshape let's you use. :(

Well think about it, wild shape is based on a series of spells that typically have a rather short duration

That problem still exist regardless, because of the Animal Growth spell. What happens if the spell expires? There's no FAQ on most things to do with Swallow Whole and sizing.

You can, using called shot rules you are -2 to hit and it is a full round action

What would the benifit of a called shot to the tongue be?

If a crit - sever the tongue

No-crit - force it to release sora and cannot grab for 1d4 rounds

Since my max damage critical is a 40, I guess we don't need to find a mechanic for what happens at 50

the old hard drive was completely shot. could not recover anything at all.

good news is I found all my old notes on the adventure. except is is all 3.0 and I need to re convert to pathfinder.
