Juis Helfro |
@ GM Emmjay On Slide 2, you have Initiative for both columns. Was that splitting Table 1 & 2 or was the second column suppose to be Perception?
Juis long term goal is to become Loremaster. He will primarily be ranged combat when not healing. Since he is not a Cleric, he won't be a healing machine (though he does have CLW prepared) until he can get a Wand of CLW after the first Chronicle. I'll spend his first 2 PP to get the wand.
He has the Clouded Vision curse, so for the time being he can't see anything beyond 30'.
Also, glad to be with everyone and hope we have fun playing together. And thanks to GM Emmjay for the game. I've actually been trying to get Juis into a game for some time. This was his 4th attempt to get into a game. The others where lottery also.
Gary Pepper |
Woot!! Same here will put together character today and post.

Fixed..... Good Catch....

Thanks Emmjay for the nod. I will build the ranged character and get posted ASAP.
In interest of full disclosure, I have played two of these scenarios before (Rise of the Goblin Guild & The Disappeared) but can either sit those out, or use GM replay stars to cover them. If that excludes me from consideration, I understand. I have played only two other Season 4 scenarios (Kalamedes and Halls of Dwarven Lore) and have GM'ed none, so I am eager to see the story of that season.
I may consider shift from Ranger to Slayer for ranged type, but will still fill the same type slot.
Nylthe Shadowbound |
I'll also be using GM Stars for the Goblin Guild and the Sanos Abduction. (Technically don't have the 2nd star until next week, but I figure we won't hit Sanos that fast :p)

I believe (and I may be wrong here) that you can replay a scenario already done for no credit. If that's the case, go ahead and play it with the group. Use a couple of GM copy of scenarios that I know you have/will have to "fill in" for those if you want to keep leveled with the group, or yah, if you want to use a GM star, go ahead and do that.
And no, I'm not kicking you out....
As far as adding variety and new classes and such, go for it. These are your characters to play with and have run with. If our Investigator wants to dabble in say Bard, (or fighter or something) go for it. If its PFS legal, I'm not going to hold anyone back....

Right on. Thanks. Technically, I believe, you can only replay for no credit, if it keeps a table from being legal (only 3 players, for example). I have stars to burn, or as you say, sit out and use a GM credit to keep level pace. Looking forward to it!

Something like this coming up is also why I am running 7 players instead of 6.....
Marianna Nicos |
First of all, I think Marianna is ready to go.
Like several others, I have played a couple of these scenarios (Goblin Guild and My Enemy's Enemy) but I was planning on using the "Exchange of Secrets" Boon that was posted on the boards for the character survey in May for replays.

As long as you can level up with everyone else, I'm ok with it.....
Two questions about your character and build.
1. As a Cavalier, no mount? If there is one, you kinda need to add its stats to your character sheet(or have a alias dedicated to your mount).
2. Isn't Defender of the Society Fighter only? I was always told that it was, but am not 100% certain.

I like what you have done with your character. A question I have is why all the know skills with an investigator in the group. Are you planning on being able to double up in case one rolls low, or ? I ask because an investigator get an additional 1d6 for free to each know roll. Its just a character choice I'm curious about....
GM Emmjay |

You never know.....lol
Anyways, character sheet looks great. Please, though, when you get a moment to add to your stat bar information like you see Marianna and Juis has done. This makes it easy to quickly reference the major information at will. I am even glad that you created an alias for you Eidolon. Same thing there, please fill out its stat line as well.
As you have a eidolon, I am giving you a choice. You can use your(Nylthe) Init rolls for both of you, or do you want to do them separate? Your choice.
Marianna Nicos |
1)The Sister-in-arms archetype trades the mount away for effectively a second order. I get everything from both order of the Dragon and Order of the lion, though I only have to follow dragon's edicts.
2)*Looks at archives* Blah... Wish Hero Lab mentioned that.... Lemme find something else.....
GM Emmjay |
Folks, one other major bit of thought..... We have no "rogue" in the group. And, as far as the three already created characters are concerned, no one has yet to take Stealth or even Disable Device. While DM DoctorEvil might be a great choice for Stealth (as he is a Ranger), Disable Device might be something more than 1 player consider investing in.......

Hello. This is GM Hmm, visiting in my Venture Captain Capacity. In the interest of avoiding the propogation of misinformation, I wanted to remind everyone that this very question was recently answered in Flaxseed here.
Alas, you cannot replay for no credit unless you have three or less players, and this is a full table. I do hope that you and your players can work out another solution.
Yours Sincerely,
Hmm
Nylthe Shadowbound |
I'll take Nylthe's initiative in that case (and will adjust the sheet to match).
I was sorta guessing our as yet unnamed Investigator would have Disable Device covered.
Aconite can be a pretend stealther - much better once his shadow powers really kick in.
Marianna Nicos |
Fixed. Permanent Scars fits the character like a glove anyway.

I created this character about a month ago. I envisioned him as an academic type and having two well knowledge characters in the group might be beneficial.

Ok. It's your PC, your choice. Just curious, that's all.
Gahrod al-Kazkashir |
Isin Ghar reporting in for duty with Gahrod Kazkashir, a human Keleshite Investigator. He has Disable Device, but no Stealth. He will eventually have all Knowledge skills, but will take a few levels to get there.
Still working on Appearance, Personality and Background. Also need to finish up purchasing equipment.
Gahrod al-Kazkashir |
How do I copy and paste icon onto Google slides? I updated Initiative and Perception, so have access to the file, just never done the icon part. Thanks.
Ebert Shimmerblade |
Gahrod Got you covered. In the future if you are on your computer right click/ctrl click Mac and copy your image from the Paizo boards. Go to the Google Slide you want to paste the picture on, better safe than sorry click in the grey area around the slide, and paste the image.
I think I am all set but I wanted to check with anyone if they are intending to take Teamwork Feats. Mine are not set in stone yet and thought it might be something to coordinate with everyone.
Updated Init and Perc on the slides as well for myself.
Full disclosure I have only played 1 scenario from the list. This was Rise of the Goblin Guild in CORE. I am able to play, and receive credit, for a classic play through.
Duncan Blackfeather |
Here is the submission from Doctor Evil. Turns out to be a human slayer. He will focus on ranged bow damage, but also is strong in stealth, survival, and other outdoorsy skills. Will be able to do ranged sneak attack damage at some point, plus some dirty tricks. No disable skill but looks like the investigator has that covered. Did not add any teamwork feats either.
Let me know if you have questions or concerns. Also let me know the format you want the header in, as every GM is a bit different.
Gahrod al-Kazkashir |
Thank you Ebert. Could not figure how to copy the icon using a Mac laptop without a mouse.
I have no teamwork feats available for now. Maybe something for later.

I'm not picky as to the format you put your header in. Gahrod, Juis all have good examples.

So, are we just waiting on Gary Pepper to finish his character, or did I miss his post?

No problem anytime.

Sorry GM Emmjay I should have said this is Gary Cough.
I need to change out a feat and I'm good to go. I forgot about the BAB+1 requirement with shield focus.
Darn Warpriest with 1/2 progression :p
was thinking Improved Initiative unless someone is wanting to sync up with a teamwork feat.
Was thinking intercepting Charge possibly for some of the squishier types.

You have 150 gp to spend. Looking at some of your gear, it appears that (from my rough guestimate at work without references) that you are well over that amount. Masterwork Longsword, Scrolls of CLW..... Scale mail alone is 50gp.....

Cheating to get better starting gear, I love it. I'm going to have to get that Champions of Purity add for my Hero Labs, its sweet.

Eventually, I'm hoping to get every legal resource for PFS on my Hero Lab. I'm still missing a lot of the Class type stuff though.

I wouldn't call it cheating more like using my Additional resources wisely. ;)
Gahrod al-Kazkashir |
Woohoo! Looks like everyone has reported in.
Excited to get started.
GM Emmjay |
Is he okay to go?
Interesting character. Can't wait to see what he's capable of. The only thing left to do is put up your Header then good ot go.
Marianna Nicos |
I'm somewhat entertained by the fact that almost the whole party is Lawful Neutral, save for Okuru and I.
I think I am all set but I wanted to check with anyone if they are intending to take Teamwork Feats. Mine are not set in stone yet and thought it might be something to coordinate with everyone.
Okay, I'm starting with Precise Strike, though it's attached to Tactician, so you all will have access to it from time to time as well. I was also planning on taking Sisterhood Style as my level 3 feat, which would allow me to use a swift action to give a teamwork feat to another person for a round. (Going further up the style line feels a little too feat intensive for me, so I was planning on stopping there.) I was also thinking about taking Outflank and/or Shield Wall, to further the use of Sisterhood Style.
GM Emmjay |
Is he okay to go?
You also still need to fill out slides 1 and 2.
GM Emmjay |
I think everyone has done so. There are 7 pictures and 7 names complete on slide 2.
You are forgetting our summoners eidelon.
