Male Human (Azlanti Pure-Blood) Magus (Blade Bound, Kensai) 5

Pretty intense. I'll put that hero point back on my sheet and keep my initiative. I guess its good to have 2 hero points anyway just in case I get close to death =)

Xideus ducks down behind the hard cover, puts his fingers in his ears, grimaces, and prepares for the canons to go off.

Male Casrua. Inquisitor 20/Ranger10(gestalt feat)/Nature's Warden7(prestigious)

Akor shouts "Concentrate fire on the wounded one!! and get to those cannons!!" He launches another arrow at the hurt Calikang 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15 Ranged attack for 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10

After he attacks, he too will try to duck for cover.

Akor Misses the wounded Calikang.
Hill Giant 4 Fires his cannon from a top the hill, his aim is off and misses the caravan by a few feet. He starts to reload it.

Herani is up next.

Female Human(Azlanti Pure Blood) Wizard(Metal Elementalist)/2 - Cleric/3

We can take these guys down, lets get the Calikang down.

I take careful aim and fire my crossbow at the injured Calikang again. Or if it is down, at the uninjured Calikang.

Attack-Crossbow:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 8

Crit Confirm:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 1

Giant:

IF YOU HOPE TO LIVE YOU WILL FLEE NOW LITTLE GIANTS.

Sovereign Court

Male Azlanti pure-blood Bard 5

No distance attack for Jazismus. Will hold the total defense again this round till he is in melee.

Dark Archive

Male Human Dungeon Master

Herani shoots the wounded calikang right through the eye and lays him out. 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15 will save against Herani's demoralization.

Caravan Lead takes careful aim with his rifle(move-action) and shoots at the Hill Giant on the hill to the left. 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14

Dark Archive

Male Human Dungeon Master

The Giants and Ogres fight on even with the death of one of their Calikang.

Ogre 1 attacks Caravan Guard 2 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22 1d12 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14 damage

Jazsimus is up next.

Dark Archive

Male Human Dungeon Master

You can close in on Ogre 1 if you want Jazsimus.

Ogre 2 Charges Caravan Guard 1 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24
1d10 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14

Hill Giant 2 Fires his cannon. It too falls short. He is readjusting and reloading.

Belros is next.

Chaos Space Marine Chosen

Trip the closest Ogre if I have one I can reach
Trip 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20

If they are out of my reach I will continue to get closer to the cannon shooting ones using available cover so I can let my teammates get a better chance to defend themselves

Sovereign Court

Male Azlanti pure-blood Bard 5

No closing in this round. Will not wish to give it an "extra" attack with an AoO - since it has reach. Next round if it isn't in melee with Jazismus I will ready a charge action. (For after when it takes an AoO)

Dark Archive

Male Human Dungeon Master

Belros Trips Ogre 2.

Caravan Gaurd 2 Shoots the Ogre that charged him point blank with his rifle. 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23 1d10 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

Calikang 1 Continues to close the distance and is shouting

If you speake Giant:
Kill the humans first they da stronger ones. No need take alive anymore Kill for Yugorith!

He is 10' from the caravan now.

Female Human(Azlanti Pure Blood) Wizard(Metal Elementalist)/2 - Cleric/3

I shout:

He is telling them to focus on the stronger people. And to kill everyone for Yugorith, whoever Yugorith is.

Giant/DM:
Yugorith shall die by the blade just as shall you. Your friend died before even reaching us, do you think you shall do any better. Flee now, or DIE.

Xara is right, you can tell by the tone that Yugorith probably is refering to her mate

Xara and Xideus Score hits on the Calikang, injuring it.

Caravan Guard 1 Fires at the Calikang continueing to concentrate fire. 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Hill Giant 1 continues to close the distance he is 50' away.

Back to top. I will post a recap when back home. Akor Can post since the Hill Giant 3 is just going to continue to close distance.

Female Human(Azlanti Pure Blood) Wizard(Metal Elementalist)/2 - Cleric/3

We are getting them, the second Calikang should be almost down. Then the Giant.

If one of them is closing in on me, I will run away to where I can continue to shoot my crossbow.

If not:

I always hit preview - if it is a crit, I add the crit confirm and damage, if it is a really bad roll, I usually add a poor attempt at comedy.

38/48 HP
In a dexterous dance of weaves and bobs, Xideus manages to dodge the first attacks, but when the fourth fist swings down upon him he is caught off-guard. The Calikang's fist slams into his chest, but the Magus slides away, narrowly avoiding the last two attacks.

"Ooomph. You'll pay for that!" Xideus brings his scimitar around, ready to strike again.

Maybe we should run? OR... maybe... We should stand and fight!! Then we can loot all these dead caravan guards and take their rifles (which are very valuable) and the goods they are transporting and sell 'em =)

Ogre 1 Engages Jazsimus 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14 to hit 1d12 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13 damage

Jazsimus' is up + Akor and Belros for this round.

The old caravan lead, who seems to have transformed from grumpy old dwarf to combat expert shouts at the Calikang

If you Speak Giant:
Your Next you !@#$%sucker(the insult does not translate well from common, but he gets his point across)

1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26 Will save vs Demoralize at having lost half her force and mate.

Male Casrua. Inquisitor 20/Ranger10(gestalt feat)/Nature's Warden7(prestigious)

The Varisian will once more call upon his goddess to fill him with momentary fury and shoots the Calikang another two times Attack 1 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16 for 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4 Attack 2 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19 for 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

Down to 1 Hero Point.

If you speak Giant:
If I am to Die I shall make you dead first!
The Calikang finish his retort just as an arrow from Akor hits her in the throat. The Calikang falls.

The Ogres and hill giants flee, only to be shot in the back by Gurney.

Gurney rushes over to his fallen comrades and trys to stop their bleeding. Caravan Guard 1 is beyond saving and dies. Caravan Guard 2 stabilizes. Good thing I got some extra hands on this. No wonder they attacked, these Giants are half starved. They normaly don't attack this far east. Lack of food must have made them desperate. These cannons though, they are some of the ones missing after the raid by them tribals we had a few months back. I wonder if they be working in cohoots. Gurney says stroking his beard.

Well, in any event, you more then did your share of the fighting, I will raise your wage once we get to Drogon Hold. Lets hurry befor more come

Other then a very large two-handed sword, there is not much to take from the corpses of Ogres, Giants and Calikang. You can tell they are very thin to the point of being sickly for their species.

When you get to town you are each paid 50g, which is a lot more then previously agreed on.

I am going to fast forward now since I will be at school all day tommorow and it might be a full day befor I can post again. If you wanted to buy anything at Drogon Hold you may, any non-magical item found in the Core, APG, and fire arms are here. Firearms and ammo are 10% cheaper here than what is listed in UC.

YOU ENTER THE WORLD INFLUENCED BY MAGIC ONCE MORE!

You are all traveling to Nex with another caravan that trades with a border town there, when it hits you like nothing you have ever felt.
All of you hit the ground in pain(yes even you Belros since you have Ki). You drink your potions and...

I will go down the list, since each of you will experiance something unique

Akor:
When it hits you, you see flashes of color in your cursed eye. It causes extrem pain. You hear the voice of one who calls themself the "Peacock Spirit"-Do not worry my son, I have taken your eye with purpose. You will now share in my Vision. - You now have darkvison/lowlightvision/blindsight in 30' as a SU ability. You also have gained insight to the heavens, you gain Guiding Star Revelation in the APG on pg 48 as if you were an oracle. When you wake, you sense that have a stronger tie to your diety. In addition to gaining a level,You gain two additional first level spells one additonal second and one additonal third, known and per day.

Dark Archive

Male Human Dungeon Master

Belros:
at first you just feel sick to your stomace, then it starts to burn. You double over in pain and remeber to drink your potion. It tastes like fire. You have a feverish dream about fire, everywhere fire. When you awake you feel power like you never have befor. In addition to a level, you gain the Feat Elemental Fist(fire) and 3x+your wis bonus you can ignite your weapons with fire as a swift action, this fire does 1d6 fire damage, and unless put out continues to burn your target for 1d3 a round.

Xara:
You feel very sleepy at first, then it feels like you are melting from the inside out. You drink your potion, it tastes sweet. You hear Trig in your mind. He is consuling you-I am here with you Xara- Trig says in a very mature voice. When you awake Trig is standing over you, only he looks differant. In addition to your level, you lose the penalty for Eidlon advancement from Master-summoner and Trig has 2 more Evolution points. You feel stronger ties to Trig, choose one teamwork feat for you and Trig, this only works when both of you are fighting together.

Dark Archive

Male Human Dungeon Master

Jazsimus:
When you enter the magic again, at first it is like being hit with a silence spell, you look around and nothing is making a sound, you see your friends aching in pain, but you can not hear them. Then you fall asleep. You dream of music, magical music. This music is guiding you, and you are following it to the highest mountains, to the lowest valleys, through rock and water all the way to the void. When you wake up in additon to gaining a level, you gain the ability of Tounges, you can speak any language and understand any language or way of communicating. You are also no longer restricted to your bardic spell list, you can play music to creat any form of effect from any spell that is level appropriate.

Herani:
When the magic hits, you are nailed hard to the ground instantly. Your strong ties to magic wiegh on you now and you can barly breath. You drink your potion and it tastes like acid. You close your eyes and see visions of chaotic battles. You wish the visions away, and they are gone. All is serene. You wake up, and know you are a lot stronger. In additon to gaining a level, you have gained insight to the magical world. You can transfer magic to and from items by touch 3x+Int score a day(I will allow you to sell one item per town, merchants do not have endless coin). You can drain a +1 sword to recharge your level 1 spells, a +2 to recharge level 2 spells, or a +3 for to recharge your 3rd level spells, you can also do the reverse, charge an item(it need not be MWK) with magic draining your spells for the day of the appropriate level to grant it a bonus up to level 3. You also choose a metamagic feat for free.

The Exchange

Xideus:
You are walking and it is like you walked right into an invisible wall, when you hit it you are electrified. You lay in pain when Io speaks to you-Rember the potion- you take a drink and it tastes like a very bitter Dwarven Ale. Once again you see countless battles wielding Io. You wake up and Io Speaks to you. Now we are one truely. Hmm odd, I have never had such a strong bond befor. I sense many things in our future. In additon to gaining a level and your fully functional black blade, you gain the following feats that only apply when using Io- Quick Draw,Wave Strike(from UC, can perform feint when you draw this weapon as swift action), Dazzling Display
