Format
This format will use the same rules as the Pathfinder Society Organized Play for character creation as well as what content is available. There are no exceptions for this other than what is presented in this Campaign Info tab. 3rd party content will never be available under any circumstances. Legal content includes the most recent version of the Pathfinder Society Guide to Organized Play as well as any legal source listed on the Additional Resources page. This includes any currently legal playtests.

This format makes use of the performance combat rules in every match. As such, any Paizo performance combat feat or archetype is a legal option in addition to the sources listed above. The crowd will always begin indifferent to both sides unless otherwise stated.

Unlike Pathfinder Society, you may be any alignment. I will be removing restrictions on certain content that was banned in PFS for alignment as we go along.

Characters & Matches
You may only ever have two characters. Your own characters may never both be involved in the same match. Using multiple accounts to get more characters is strictly forbidden. Anyone caught doing so will have all characters on all accounts permanently removed from the system, and you will no longer be allowed to participate. If you wish to retire a character in order to start playing a new one, you may. Everything about the retired character will be removed from the system entirely, and your new character will begin at level 1 just as any other.

In order to progress your character to the next level, you must win 3 matches against another player or players of your level. You may not initiate or accept a match request from a character who is higher or lower level than you. If the match involves more characters than a 1 vs. 1, each team must have an equal number of characters on it. No match may exceed 3 vs. 3. Matches involving more than 2 teams are prohibited. You will be awarded gold upon level-up based on the chart for wealth by level. Dying, of course, is not permanent, and associated costs for revival do not need to be paid for.

The team issuing the challenge decides the gametype. The team receiving the challenge chooses the arena and gets to pick their starting space color. Each player will be randomly spawned onto a space of their team's color until all players have been assigned a space.

Gametypes
There is currently only one gametype. More gametypes will be released once the concept of this game is more stable.

Deathmatch: Both teams fight to the death. The first team whose members are all dead or unconscious loses, meaning the other team wins.

Arenas
Standard Arena
Alleyways
Ship

Purchases
All purchases must be approved by me. Your initial purchases at level 1 are approved in the process of approving your character sheet, but anything beyond that must be approved and recorded. Please try to make all of your purchases in bulk in order to reduce the amount of time I have to spend reviewing purchases.

Maps & Dice Rolls
Maps and dice rolls will be handled through Roll20. You will need an account in order to participate, as well as a general understanding of how to use Roll20. It is required to include a short description of what the roll is for in Roll20 when you make the roll in order to prevent cheating and keep things organized. You will be expected to make a post in the Gameplay thread describing your actions and transcribing your rolls from Roll20 for those actions for the sake of my own convenience. If you need to make a roll that is secret from the other player(s), such as when stealthing, PM me and it will be arranged.

FAQ
Q: Will this be balanced? Will measures be taken in order to balance certain classes/feats/items/etc?
A: PvP is impossibly imbalanced in Pathfinder. It's possible that some measures may be taken if necessary, but I would like to leave the system be and let the meta work itself out among the players.
