Repp seems to focus his gaze intensely on Vai for just a moment, and then shakes his head. "That's alright. I will take him. I believe I know where to go."
Repp places a hand on Ace, and the pair vanish to the receiving area of the infirmary. Repp stands up straight, and looks around at the bustle. A triage nurse quickly hurries over.
Before she can even say anything, Repp says to her. "I do not know what is the matter, but he collapsed on the school green."
Sorun is laying face down on a pool of drool....sleepingSara walks over and sits down Indian style and starts poking him in the chest. "Wake up sleepy-fish. He he." :)
a few bubbles blow out if his mouth and he sputters "huh what?"
"All classes, room, and food is provided free of charge. Now, let's talk about what you want to learn here. Here's a list of classes and a brief description. You can pick up to six, or five and a study period." Maybe something to focus on would help.
"Well, obviously--" Tryko'Sam sounded a bit focused here as he spoke, "Learning about a new culture and planet, that's priority one, so .. History of Agartha, sounds like an easy class. Uh-- oh, Advanced Physical Education, sure, we can go with that," he continues to look over the list, "Mechanics? Cars and stuff? Uh-- sure, might already know a ton about that, got something tougher? I love high tech stuff."
He mulls over the list some more and then says, "Okay, so not in any specific order, here's the list I have, History, Acting, Mechanics, or something higher than that, Astronomy, Advanced Physical Ed, and a free study-- let me get some more exercise in, or whatever. I'll come up with something, maybe get a job or whatever. I'd feel horrible not paying back somehow."
Overall, Tryko'Sam seems happy there. "Not sure the tech level here on the planet, but -- I /know/ a shit ton, so, maybe I could ..I dunno, unload that, if the Mechanics class is too simple. How's that sound?"
"You fell asleep Silly Fishy!" :D she says with an amused smile. The fish boy is being silly and this amuses her.
"Ah er no I mean an actual demon, he's in my eye, " he points to his grey eye "usually he's quiet but since I left home he's gotten a lot more annoying, but tell hew thanks, so he's like totally awake now like how you were before you guys switched?""He said no problem. Yeah he's been awake since lunch. He is still a little wore out but all in all he's good." Smiles to everyone who was listening. Zilla just looked at Vriskra when she made the connection. With an annoyed facial expression. "Pfft. Fear wasn't really what he felt toward you. It took everything he had not to attack you. If he would have he would have stopped at nothing to get rid of what he perceived as a threat." Zila flips her hair as she turns to walk away. She stops and looks to Ignace when the announcement sounds. Zilla watched for facial expression from Ignace. She really didn't know if this was a good thing or bad and she wanted to know before she said anyhing.

The matter of the patient seeming well-in-hand with the arrival of more infirmary staff, Repparyn begins to head out, back into the hallway, a carefree smile on his face.
The seemingly-albino gnome stops before he makes it to the hallway though, his interest sparked by the icecat trying to beckon away the Astral Construct. He watches the interaction with curiosity, ears open to all that is occuring around him. He didn't want to be stepped on, after all.

The auditorium didn't exactly fill up. It was intended to fit the entire school's student population after all. But it was more full than he'd expected. He'd known there were a lot of firebird children here. He'd just never seen them in one place before. And now he had to tell them that everything was going to change. Not what you'd call an easy job.
Once he was sure that they were all there he stepped out onto the stage.
"Most of you know who I am already, but for those few who might not, my name is Sorchan del Sol and I teach evocation here at Avalon. There have been some events that happened this morning on the sun that I need to speak with you about."
Raelle looked visibly relieved when she saw for herself that her dad was okay.
There are some nods and looks of intrigued confusion along the faces in the auditorium.
Various voices can be heard right before Sorchan's speaking:
"Hey-- quick pushing me, low breed."
"Shut it, cinder beak, the Professor's talking."
"I want my mommy.. I'm scared."
"Did the sun explode? I heard it exploded. Things keep changing without warning, when is this going to stop?"
"I'm hungry, are there snacks?"

"Grim you jerk. You just don't understand. If it would have been something that could just hurt him, sure he would have been a little angry and everything. It wasn't something that just effects him. He was defending me." Her anger flared. She couldn't believe that Grim just basically called Hew a coward. The man who had protected her for the last 3 years. She stomped her way off. She was furious that Grim had said something like that.

He glares at the one who said "low-born". When Pyra joins them with Ignace and Chara, he bows to them respectfully, knowing who they were from their resemblance - and closeness - to Raelle.
Otherwise, he listens attentively, if a little shame-faced.
He tries more pantomiming to get it to come over away from the bed. If this doesn't work he eventually goes over and silently yet gently ushers it out.
Zilla had stopped listening and stomped her way across the room. Grim one of Hew and her closest friends had just called Hew a coward. She felt betrayed. Her confidence in people removed. If she couldn't trust him the who could she trust. "Leave me alone Hew!"
He took a deep breath. This was painful to speak about. He felt bad for Ardiente. It had to be even harder to hear.
"This morning the council uncovered a family of firebirds that had been hiding the fact that they were not purebloods. Rather than abjuring them and sending them away, the council decided to take a more severe course of action. The entire family was executed, including one of your fellow students. The student was able to be revived, but the rest of the family was not. There was a great deal of conflict over this ruling. A good deal of shouting...I did a fair amount of the shouting myself. What they did was...unforgivable. During the course of the argument certain facts were revealed about the leader of the council regarding his activities and how he had lied to all of us and framed the innocent in order to retain power over and over again. There was a riot. During the riot a half dozen other firebirds were killed including Fuego Helios."
"The names of the dead will be displayed on the screen behind me after I'm done speaking. So you'll be able to find out if any of your family members are among the dead. There will be grief counselig available for any student that needs it."
"The council has been disbanded. We are at present a people without a government. Also, the sun is being evacuated. Refugee camps are being set up near the school to provide temporary housing and possible locations for potential permanent settlements are being researched. The firebird sun was once important but it has become nothing but a relic and in three days time it will be dismantled."
"If anyone has any questions now would be the time to ask them."

As the nurse(s) run a routine diagnostic check on Ace, it appears he is massively drained and exhausted. He doesn't wake up when they attempt to rouse him, but all his vitals seem ok, though they all indicate he seems to have undergone a twenty mile race in about five minutes, while simultaneously taking the Avalon equivalent of the SATs hyped up on steroids. He's sort of in a coma, but not quite. He mutters "Ginni" several times as they runs their tests.

Midori looked from Grim-kun to Zilla-chan. She wasn't sure exactly why Zilla-chan was mad, but she gives Grim-kun an apologetic look before making her way quickly over to her angry friend. "Zilla-chan?" Midori says tentatively.

Meanwhile in the library...
Ginni had gotten up to reshelve some books...the large pile was making it difficult to work and even more difficult to keep track of which books they'd already looked at. When she came back to the table Ace was gone. At first she assumed that he had stepped away from the table on a similar errand to hers and just went back to work. Time stretched on, but she didn't notice at first because she was too engrossed in trying to find a way to help Ace. But eventually she looked up and realized just how long he'd been gone. She gathered up the still enormously large pile of potentially useful books and took them to the desk to check out. And then headed off in search of Ace.
"If anyone has any questions now would be the time to ask them."
Ardiente had questions... why dismantle the Sun? It was a source of such beauty. An inspiration, really. He looks extremely troubled. It wasn't just that the sun was being dismantled...
His recklessness had been the cause of all of this. His attempt at independence. He had questions alright. But he had done enough damage already. Especially to those who had been killed in the riot, and their loved ones. He keeps his mouth shut, staring at the floor of the auditorium.

Repp decides that the infirmary is a good place to begin his studies, and does some "people-watching" while he waits near Ace - patient and out of the way of the healers (easy, given his size) - listening to Ace's mutterings. He also keeps an eye the spectacle with the catfolk and the astral construct, an amused look on his face.

"Well I'm not really a laborer, per say-- more of a thinker? If that makes sense? It's kind of complicated, I have .. a crazy memory, can't stop thinking, other junk too. But, not sure a being a grease monkey is my thing. But, hey-- who knows, right? Sure. Happy to try anything once."
He clearly changed his mind quick, not quite sure why. "Uh, the other option-- maybe I could dig around and see what's needed and if I do spot something, we can work out a .. work trade sort of thing, sound good?"
There's a slight smirk at the APE warning, "I've been through hell, I'm pretty sure this Advanced Physical Education can't be that bad, can it? Good to know though. So, we good? Go for Mechanics, or you got something more advanced? I'm mostly interested in physics and .. shit like that. Mechanical engineering, maybe space technology or similar?"
Though it still does not appear to understand, the astral construct allows itself to be lead away. The cold doesn't seem to bother it.

Shortly after the bell rings for sixth period the comm broadcasts to the entire school as well as the grounds:

"Oh-- someone gave me these clothing, is .. uh, what is the currency of this place? Is there a store or shop near here to buy stuff? I might need a lot of clothing." He grins at that.

Midori wasn't sure if that last bit was directed towards her or Hew-kun not, but she did not move away in the slightest. "I will not go away, Zilla-chan. You are my friend and you are hurting. I think both you and Hew-kun are very brave." Midori takes a submissive posture, trying to appear non-threatening, her shoulders bowed and her hands held in front of her. "Friend help each other when they are hurting. Just like when Hew-kun help me yesterday, after we came back from the beach."
