He tuens to the waterbender "You said you had a fair amount of different healing abilities, maybe the two of us together can find a way to cure her. If we don't, and she does loose control and consumes a soul without throwing it back up, she'll become a full fledged soul vampire. "

He notices now the romantic-esque setting and bows his head in apology I'm sorry, I seem to have interrupted a private moment. I just didn't know who else to turn to. The healers here might be able to cure Ginni, but I won't risk them being unable to"

She turns her head and gently rests her forehead on Fei's shoulder. "... I should go find Sadie. Maybe flying will keep my mind off of things."

"Be as you wish to be, meldanya, not as any other would try to dictate. They succeed only if you let them do so."

"Sorry." Vai pulls away as soon as she realizes the trouble he was having. She had to stop doing that.

Something Fei says strikes a deep resounding chord with Vai. She looks up at him with admiration, and love. Everything wasn't all better... but again, Fei has restored her courage. That's how you beat him.

He smiles...it's kinda creepy.
"I do not like to fight undead, anymore than I like to fight a hammer, or a sword. They are tools or weapons. If they will not be used, or will not obey, I destroy them. Especially when my loved ones are in danger, or threatened."
As he says this, the runes on his staff flare a bit. Grim will get the sense that there are very powerful souls in torment in there...
"But, enough philosophy. What problems are you having with your abilities? What do you need help with?"

Please let me know if you have any trouble connecting my system to yours. They may not interface well, as I've designed mine from scratch. didn't want to use anything of the Empire's I could help."

Mary Sue-ness:

Yeah, it's pretty ridiculous that, in 4 months, someone would be able to go from knowing knowing nothing about computing, to have designed a completely new OS. It's ridiculous to imagine (coming from a computer science major). But that's why we're playing a high-power game. Tyrrin is maybe a bit of a genius when it comes to tech. Logic is central to her being, and so computers just make sense to her. Aananda would probably be impressed by it in the least.

Are there keys or anything for the skimmer?

Tyrrin makes her way to the skimmer hanger, both eager and nervous at the same time. On the one hand, she was looking forward to thoughtful and driven conversation with the ex-Inquisitor... but on the other hand... she wasn't entirely sure she was ready for any of this courtship nonesense. She did have duties, and many responsibilities both here at the school and at home.

Tyrrin arrives just a little late to the hanger, finding Ghalen waiting, and dressed differently as well. She is a match for him there at least: she has spent half an hour fussing to make herself look perfect. An unbelievable waste of time no doubt.

She is wearing a dark blue, tight-fitting, button-down shirt, which is fairly low cut for Tyrrin (whch means you can see some skin, le gasp), cut perfectly for her to display and accentuate what little curves her elfin form has. She is wearing a similarly styled pencil skirt, knee-length. Her shoes match the ensemble perfectly, to give an impression of severity... but maybe severity who is also trying to be a little sexy. Just a little. Tyrrin is wearing no makeup or jewelry to compliment.

"Good evening." Tyrrin says to Ghalen, half-way between polite and friendly.

Male Human Gestalt Inquisitor/Dragon Knight 16

Ghalen turns with a smile, then actually gapes for a second, but regains his composure quickly. His eyes do not gaze anywhere inappropiate, but you can tell he likes what he sees, mixed with a hint of suprise.
"Good evening, indeed! You look absolutely radiant, Tyrrin." he says as he bows.

Nimceleb sleepily looks at the hand on Vai's shoulder, and gives it a small nuzzle from his usual perch. Vai looks fondly at her friend. I'm assuming Fei is still part of the conversation? ::Nothing major, just I realized after lunch that someone might have been... trying to take advantage of me in Light Blades class. Ah yes, hair. Such things I always forget.

Tyrrin's hair is pulled out of it's usual bun and is brushed out so that it is wavy, but in no way unruly. It frames her face, accentuating the elf's angular features.

She doesn't quite know what to say at first, or what the etiquette here was. See? Less time on your hair and more time reading and you could've been better prepared! She returns Ghalen's bow, a little unsure. "Thank you. You are quite handsome." she says, a little awkwardly. Unfamiliar territory. Perhaps Ghalen has found something that Tyrrin isn't good at?

See? Fieri was abjured, and yet she still lives on. She's even happy, here... and expecting hatchlings if I heard Vai right. There are many worthy people here... even if the worst comes to past. These people could be family to him.

Ardiente seems a little distracted, taking a few moments to respond to Fieri. Weird, wasn't he supposed to be starstruck? "Ah. Sorry, just a little tired. It's been a long, trying day. "We shall." she had resisted the impulse several times to pull away. It was all very real. Emotions. Twisted, unlogical emotions, were beginning to surface. She had to do her best to keep a tight reign on herself. "Don't sell yourself short, Inquisitor." Tyrrin intones as they move towards the skimmer, trying to keep the mood light. Tyrrin, the skimmers are push start. The hardest part is getting clearance to get into the shed where they're stored. :)

"Ardiente! I didn't expect you to come tonight. Regular practices were cancelled tonight after an incident in the music room....most of the instruments needed repair so they're holding band tryouts tomorrow night. I think we're the only ones still practicing tonight. Glad you could make it though," she said warmly.

I probably won't push myself too hard on the pyrotechnics. You and yours are well?" the excitement that was there yesterday seems to be lacking... though he did say he was tired.

"Rough first day?" she asked sympathetically. "Don't worry, it does get better."

"Oh, I'm fine, and the babies are fine. They're enjoying a new lullaby...long story. But their dad put himself into a coma over it. Nothing to worry about. Jiminy does this from time to time when he overextends his abilities. Hopefully he'll be awake by tomorrow. I'm sure there are at least three other crises going on in the family. At least. It's like that. You get used to it around here."

"I think for now the best thing you can do is just listen. Get familiar with the music and what we're trying to convey. Just plan out what kind of pyrotechnics would best complement the show."

If I'm trying to learn how to fence, the sword breaks and flies up and crashes back down on me. Or if I'm trying to get a book, the boookcases crash and there's a book avalanche. Or if Professor Rosa tells me for detention that I should keep a bull from breaking stuff in a china shop, everything gets broken. It's always something that prevents what I want to happen....the range can actually get bigger than a room if I'm out in the wilderness. The one time we went on a field trip...it was like the whole island was out to get me."

"They've tested me for magic. I don't have any. So it can't be that."

"Well, then I suspect it might be some innate ability then. Are you a shy person, normally? Or courageous and daring? If we assume or suspect that it's some .. protective, defensive technique- to prevent you from garnering attention... remember, I'm considering your sister here as well, your twin. If she has, say, the opposite of what you have, then it would fit together well."

She sits back for a moment and then asks, "Has this ability ever hurt someone else? Or just yourself?"

For all intensive purposes, it was clear that Anahita's focus was on this puzzle of Bradley, ignoring the passage of time and what not. After all, talking was rather quick, hours weren't flowing by here.

"Alright. Thank you Fieri. If you ever need another guitarist or bassist, for a particular song... I may have snuck some private time in with those instruments. Against my parents' will of course. I'm not great, but maybe passable as a background player. I'll focus on just listening for now... maybe you have some new stuff I haven't heard before." Ardiente considers the things she had just said. Well... he could name at least one other crisis. Two if he counted himself. "Can I speak to you afterward Fieri? Privately?" and he would make sure it was private this time.

"I dunno," he says amiably with a shrug. "My folks say I haven't got the sense the gods gave rocks. I wouldn't say it prevents me from garnering attention. I get all kinds of attention. It's just not positive attention. And I don't mind attention...it would just be nice for once to try something and actually have it work. I tried to declare myself Bradley the Bold once," he admits, embarrassed. "By the end of the day it was 'Bradley the Boldly Idiotic' as dubbed by my classmates. I just can't stop myself from trying even though I know how it's gonna turn out. Ursula isn't shy either. She loves attention. But she always gets positive attention. Except for that one time when Vai went off on her for being mean to Sadie. That was kinda awesome."

"Sometimes other people can get hurt. Like on the field trip. Our group was chased by girallons....and angry treants....and there was quicksand....and an earthquake...yeah, that was a really bad trip."

"well, not everyone comes when it's there time, some people are stubborn, and some people's life and death are so intertwined with fate, people who's every action affects how things will happen for the rest of time, when one of those things happen a reaper is sent to collect the soul, the important bit is the difference between a reaper, and the reaper, there are dozens of reapers, but when you refer to the reaper you refer to my dad, his job is not just to take stuborn or important souls, but also keeping life and death running smoothly, guarding the hall's of time, which now that I think about it, doesn't really have much to do with time, and ruling the first ring of the underworld, not to mention managing the other reapers" he pauses "I already am a reaper, and am fairly proficiant if I was to be one of the dozens of regular reapers, but I'm suposed to take his job eventually, I can't be a normal kid"

this seems like a rehershed speach, bar the part about the hall of time, as though he has been over this before, probably from the recieving end, probably several times.

"You'll have to audition for that. Pan and Spike won't accept anyone playing who isn't up to their standards. But if you're good, then that would actually work well. Sometimes we struggle with that on songs when Pan does vocals."

"Yeah, sure, no problem, Ardiente. I don't have anywhere I need to be after rehearsal. I'd be happy to talk."

Alright, guys, I want to try that new song again," [i]she said, heading back over to the rest of the band. "I'm still not sure if we want to include it in the stage show, so let's give it another run-through and see where we are with it."

Lang bows to the professor.

I Know and I am sorry, I was going to have dinner with someone I care deeply about and things started to...ahhh....happen. And well I couldn't leave her

Lang takes a seat and takes a sip of the tea. and tries to hide his face I still hate the that peach tea

Anyway professor, from what I gather you Know, or at least did know Master Hito, and you have been to the Sky Temples, as a guest. Well at times I get a little homesick and miss my old friends and family and I just thought there might be a chance we could sahre our meemories of the temples and of course master Hito's pie stories, he sure loved those pies

as lang holds his tea cup lang quickly puts it down apparently a touch of pain in his hands.

the professor can notice small burn marks on Lang's hands but nothing serious.

The tea is duke black, hot and sweet with a cinnimon twist

"I knew him... many years ago...And Master Hito's pies hopefully have improved...When Hito and I knew each other... we were around sixty... he is what...? Ninty? one hundred?" Professor Antergrenti seems to be thinking as well

he shakes his head, "Anyway... who is this girl you were talking about?"

"What do you mean .. try something and have it actually work? You do that all the time without trying- drawing breath, eating, walking, so many things. If you .. perhaps it's your focus that manifests it, the fear of not succeeding, when you could just .. do it, without fear, and succeed. Maybe that's what your sister does, and her abilities work without issue."

She stands up at this point, hair falling about, saying, "Let's try this, stand up. Try not to .. think, when I ask you to do something, just be as calm and unthinking as possible. Just do .. okay?

Once he appears ready, she holds up a book and says, "Now, remember, without thinking .. catch this. Remember, no thinking, just do it." With that, she tosses the book lightly at him.

who said it was a girl?....ohh wait thats right I did, well, her name is Ignace, Ignace del Sol, you see professor, I really like her and I don't know how to tell if she like me, I mean she usually is nice to me but, I think she is that way with everybody.

lang pauses a moment wait I shouldn't burden you with that stuff.

moving the subject back to his home. do you remember that magic you did before? I was wondering could we go back again tonight. but this time not to the gardens, I would like to see my mom, I was wondering how she is doing with me being away, its so rare that any of us ever leave the Temple except to travel to the market for a day.

Lang takes another sip of the tea trying to hide the stinging on his hands.

"Your mother... Hmmm I do not know where she lives.... so...." the professor walks over and then rests his hand on your head

He knows where she lives.... but just letting him see her is cruel...

The professor mutters a phrase under his breath and Lang experiences the feeling of becoming 20 feet long and an inch around, then is restored to normal size and shape while standing in his mothers kitchen...

"I hope an hour is long enough..." the professor mutters
