"I'm sorry about that, guys. Ginni has a bit of a problem. She has this thing where she wants to eat souls. If she does we have to take her down to the infirmary so they can make her throw it back up. It's messy. She's here to try and get this under control because she doesn't really want to eat anyone's soul. She's actually a very sweet girl. But sometimes the hunger gets the better of her. Although I've never seen it as bad as it was this time."

"Well, if he has fiendish heritage he might seem evil even if he isn't. Avalon allows students from any heritage to enroll. And a lot of the students here have done bad things before they came." She shrugged. "People change. Sometimes they just need a chance to start over."

dave looks away from renkai learning nothing, he turns to Anahita looking mildly annoyied "you know you are really judgemental, first your repeated rants, then the chastizing me for helping, now this about calling your fellow students evil, do not speak as such when you do not know all the details of it, this is a place where one can go and learn to better themselves, perhapse he used to do things at the behest of others and that's why she reacted that way, maybe his dad or mom was some kind of vampire or demon, how is he to control his parantage, or perhapse Gini was being pranked by some kind of spell, the point is you don't know, I don't know, if the headmaster and the wards let him in, that's enough for me, least untill I know more."
Rena had watched the interaction with curiosity. It was often disconcerting to be Out. Creatures on this plane appeared so uniform! All the same basic shape! How did people differentiate between each other?! Throughout the whole interaction, Rena does not move to intercept or interact at all, fearing that any quick actions from herself would appear hostile or vicious.
Vare was also somewhat dumb-founded, but for another reason. He had been staring at the human girl Anahita, since she had spoken up the first time. It was an intense gaze, but not perverted or unhealthy in any way. His eye seemed a little... worried. After the hubbub had died down, Vare picks his way gently to her. "Excuse me... Miss?" the last part of that sentenced sounded like he was guessing or questioning, despite Anahita's obivous femininity. "Is there anything I can do for you?"
The being which Vare was fixed on was truly unique, even for one in the Dreamscape. A little girl? An old woman? It was difficult to tell, the energies around her swirling chaotically. Perhaps it changed moment to moment - even more of an oddity. One thing he could be certain of though: her eyes were closed. Dreaming, even in the Dream. There was a sense of peace about her face... but even moreso... of sadness. Vare had to help her if he could.

Nodding at what Tamina says, Anahita seems to understand after her question. She says, "Thank you."

Looking calmly up at David, Anahita says, "I would like to point out that my question, was not a judgement, but a query for information- so the person right now, being judgemental, is yourself. Consider your own actions, David. At no time did I judge. I have often found in my travels that those who are quick to point out flaws in others, are they themselves the most guilty of the flaw. A sneaky tactic used to distract from their own failings, by the speaker. Consider that for a moment in this place of learning."
With a bit of a stern look to David, she eventually turns to the third person to speak with her, Vare.

A faint furrow of her expressive features, and Anahita sits there eating some more sushi.
Dom steps forward positioning himself between Anahita and Dave. "Wow guys we're all friends here. why are we harshing each other like this and shouldn't we get Ginni to the infirmary to see if they can help her get control over herself?" He looks to Ginni with a sympathetic gaze.
"I do not know you, sir. Why do you .. ask this of me? or offer it? You appear .. well, not strange, much is new and strange here. You .. hmm, I do not know what to say. Your companion is interesting," she motions over at Rena.

Vare nods his head as Anahita gestures toward Rena. "Yes, she is beautiful. My name is Vare... I suppose I am a teacher here now. Please, if you ever have any need of me, do not hesitate to ask." With that somewhat baffling offer, Vare turns to wander away, quickly moves to the side, as if avoiding something moving rather quickly along the ground. He makes his way over to his companion. "Inside is becoming chaotic. I am going to go try to find my room. Coming?"
The non-dragon creature nods, speaking quietly to her friend. "Yes... but I think I will stay Out for a while longer. Perhaps I can even assist you to find your room. I would like to see these 'arrows' for myself. They are less than helpful on the Inside."
The pair are making to leave the dining hall together, Rena tagging a couple feet behind the unkempt man.
As Vare turned to leave, he was forced to dodge out of the way of a pack of rabid roast chickens. Dream fragments were especially strange around food.
"Yes, please, that sounds like an excellent idea," Tamina said in response to Dom's suggestion. "Dave, how long does that hold person last? We should get her out of here before that....does anyone know where Ace is? I wonder if maybe his research has turned up anything yet..."

With a quick glance at the retreating Vare, puzzled look on Anahita's face, she seems to ponder what he said and shrugs, apparently unclear one way or another.
She glances back towards David, Dom and Tamina, seeing what will happen next, with a quick glance over at the new person, Settro, then back to Ginni and Tybalt. With a slight frown, looking back to David, she waits for any response.
He casts a spell, and any attempts to touch him fail, as an invisible fore-field in a 5 foot sphere around him prevents contact. .. he almost physically perfect- to a degree that is not even possible.
Johnny comes in the room [who IS physically perfect hehe] and seeing the others walks over
Johnny not seeing the invisible fore-field walks start through it.
and past then stops seeing and says Ty says

Looking to Anahita. "I don't know how noble I am, but I do want to help Ginni so I will bid thy farewell. As for how long the hold spell will work. I have faith in Dave's abilities as a caster." He finishes to Tamina. Dom walks over to Ginni and picks her up as gently as he can. "Tamina if you could please accompany me. I'm sure the medics will need to know what happened and I unfortunately don't have full understanding of what transpired here or Ginni's condition."

Jaiye headed into the cafeteria. Her ears perked up and her tail started to wag when she saw Ehos. She walked over to his table and smiled shyly.
"Hey, you...Oh! You got me dinner," she said, sounding pleased, tail wagging again. She leaned over and kissed his cheek. "Thank you."
Ehos perks up as he hears Jaiye's voice. He had been picking at his food in a slow fashion, a bit worried about how he was supposed to handle Jaiye now. Overthinking again. Just do what feels natural. 'Hey!' he flashes as he she walks up, the datapad resting on the table. Then she kisses him on the cheek, and he blushes slightly. Such a gentle, caring gesture. He pulls his scarf down and returns the kiss gently, a little self-conscious of all the people around. 'I got here early and didn't want you to have to wait in line. I hope I got what you like.' he puts his arm around her as she sits, not caring as much now where he rested his hand - she would tell him if he was being inappropriate... hopefully anyway. For now, his hand was just on her waist, enjoying the feel of her skin. 'What do you want to do tonight? No reading assignments yet!' her tail wagging is really cute... how did I not notice that before?

Lang sits with Chara and give her some of the firebird cuisine he obtained.
Chara, I would love to open this now, but back home we have a custom to never open a gift unless the person giving the gift is present. we call it the... ahhh... the "present to present" tradition
Sun just looks at Lang knowing there is no such tradition but he understands what Lang is trying to convey and he keeps his mouth shut (a feat even rarer that seeing Ignace giggle).
Chara notices that there is enough food for both her and Ignace apparently Lang had expected Igance to come.
After Chara gets a chance to eat Lang will open the folds of his cloak and have Chara hop on his back and they will take off Lang bending the air around them gining them lift.
Lang will sail around the garden with Chara takeing a few seemingly dangerous turns and manuvers around walls but he remains careful to her condition.
If she asks to go faster Lang will oblige to a point and fein that its as fast as he can go.
Lang seems immersed in making her happy and for the time they are airborne Lang puts Ignace out of his mind. His attention belongs to Chara for now.
Glancing over at Renkai, while making sure to keep partial attention on David De'Foul, Anahita nods.
She studies the face of Renkai for a few moments, as she's always done in the past, then a faint smile on her face as she eats more of her piled up sushi.
"You appear to have many talents, wings even. Very interesting wings. Are they natural?"
She continues to eat, as before, pick one up, sniff, eat, chew, swallow.
At one point, she looks around the Cafeteria, examining who all is sitting around, or anyone new she hasn't seen previously.
Her attention, primarily, is on the two students nearest her, Renkai and David.
Before departing Dom replies. "as long as nothing comes up I'll be there."
Dom steps out in to the halls with Tamina. "I hope she's ok. If this hunger you talk about is getting worse perhaps it is something like a vampires hunger. That as long as they fight it, the hunger becomes stronger and stronger. At least that is what I hear in bard tales from my parents. I hate to look at the worst possibility, but from what you just told me that would be my conclusion. I hope there is more that gives hope. If not I have heard of a bending art that can heal the soul as well as the body. I would be glad to look in to it to help someone."

A bit of a shrug there, her hair falling about as it rests effortlessly on her shoulders, black waves of silken thickness.
Then a smile on her face as she says, "In fact, you are doing it right now, attempting to put me into one of your own boxes. So, I ask again, what is different between you and I in our manner that you bring this up? Is it the openness in which I move through the world, or how I am not like yourself?"
Another sushi, she does not appear to react to the use of his mask, while continuing to occasionally peer around, yet return her dark eyed attention towards his facial features. She most certainly doesn't appear to 'peek' at him while he stuffs food into his maw.

"You picked perfectly. The food looks delicious....well, I could do without the carrots, but Tyrrin insists that vegetables are important so I try to eat a little of them with every meal," she admitted sheepishly, taking a bite of the steak. It tasted wonderful, even better than usual thanks to the company. The feel of his arm around her waist made her feel all bubbly and happy.
"Tonight? Well....I was hoping maybe we could continue where we left off in the library...not actually in the library again....maybe somewhere more private," she said, blushing.
