Asch is kinda scary....scares me a little bit sometimes...
Well, on the bright side, Asch being scary vampire is almost certainly less frightening than angry mama dragon. She was soooo close to letting loose the frightful presence...I'm pretty sure the girl would have wet herself.

As Nala seethes over her less-than-stellar meeting, she feels shock, pain, anger, and then fear coming from one of her thralls. What sounds like a huge thud comes from around the corner and Jeran flies into veiw to crumple against the wall.
The sound of something clicking lightly against announces the arrival of Jeran's attacker, a vicious looking blue creature covered in spikes and frost. It's eyes burn with rage as it sees her.
"Naalllaaa..." It hisses before it charges her with jaws wide and filled with frost covered fangs.

If the bite hits(I'm willing to say she's not Flat-Footed), she takes 1d4 ⇒ 1 points of Intelligence damage.
Nala Zamarosok
Nala shrieks as the creature bites her arm and attempts to use an Agony Hex against it.
Fort save DC 20 or be nauseated 14 rounds, if it can even be effected by this. That intelligence damage actually took the save DC down by 1.

Meanwhile, back in the cafeteria...
Jiminy has the oddest look on his face. There's not so much as a hint of laughter. He walks grimly to the kitchen, turning over the food carts that separate the kitchen like it was a child's toy.
"Who?" he demanded, scanning the suddenly very nervous kitchen staff, his usually blue eyes violet as he examines the room for traces of magic.
He reaches out and grabs one of the cooks roughly by the hair and grabs an empty vial out of her apron pocket. He examines it for a moment and hands it to Fieri.
"Bring that," he growled. "We're taking this...creature to the Headmaster. I want some answers, and I want them now."
The rest of the staff huddle against the far wall looking at him with terror. Jiminy was usually trouble, but there wasn't an ounce of actual harm in him. Now he looked like he could just as easily kill someone as look at them.
Nala Zamarosok
Nala takes advantage of the creature's pain to run, away as fast as she could...but where could she go? Who could she count on to protect her?....!...
Nala ran to the Eldritch Jello's new quarters, the only person in the school she could actually count on to defend her.
Headmaster Ryo
Let's see... I've got Vakkler, then Asch, and then Jimminy coming my way...
Vakkler reaches the office. He knocks on the door loudly.
"Come in!" The Headmaster's voice says from the other side of the door, which opens to reveal him standing and behind three different screens. He's searching through what looks like a digital ton of data almost frantically.

Round 3 Fort Save:1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29
The creature staggers after her, panting and growling as the pain seems to intensify before disappearing completely. It roars as it runs after Nala, following her scent which hangs on the air heavily.. like delicious fear.
Nala moved 30ft after using the Agony hex, then 120ft(running) in round 2, correct? Assuming she runs again, that's 270ft. The creature runs at the same speed, so in round 3 there should be 150ft between the two.
The instant is sees her though, she'll need to make a DC 15 Will save or stop moving, as per the brain lock power.

Vakkler enters, frowning. He seems to be holding a plate of lasagna. "Headmaster. I bring three pieces of news."
He sets the crossbow down on Ryo's desk.
"The first is something we both know: There is a dragon in the school."
He holds up the plate, also setting it on the desk. "The second is something I know that you don't: Somebody has made an attempt on the dragon's life, using a rare poison called Dragon Bane."
He looks up at the Headmaster, his expression cold. "The third is something you know that I don't." The kobold clicks his tongue. "Why is somebody trying to kill Ephebe Sunwake?"

"Because she is a dragon and apparently not every Hunter that was still hunting them down was eradicated." Ryo says as he continues searching through the data. "You are right, I did not know about the poison. If there is any way to collect a sample of it, or if you can reproduce it, that would help us all out quite a lot."
"Of course, the fact that Ephebe is a dragon does not leave this room."
Headmaster Ryo
"Yes, well, that is a long story. Given the way events are occurring, I'll give you the short version."
"Many, many years ago there was a war between the dragon of Good and the dragons of Evil. Gem dragons, who chose to ally themselves with neither side, faced attacks from both sides. Fleeing with the few allies they did have, Amethyst dragons made Agartha and hid it with the most powerful of spells. Unfortunately, a group of assassins called Hunters managed to sneak in with their allies. They were payed to hunt down and kill every last Gem dragon hiding here. Because of them, it is widely believed in Agartha that not only were dragons vicious beast capable of nothing more than mindless destruction, but also that dragons are extinct."
"Over the years the Hunter became known as a race of people. A dragon, seeking to keep it's children safe, began to hunt them down to the one. Obviously, it wasn't as successful as it thought it had been. At least one has resurfaced here in my school, and when I find out where they are hiding..."

His hunt for Nala has lead him to try to find her quarters. He looks left and right then hears a shriek, as Nala runs past him in the hallway

"Gem dragons...hm. But 'dragons of Good and Evil'...that is a naive concept. Gem dragons, though...Hades." Vakkler takes his crossbow back and pockets it.
He nods. "I will say nothing, sir. Kobolds were created to serve dragonkind. We don't forget as easily as your race." He turns and leaves, unless Ryo stops him.
Vakkler seems to be considering something, very reluctantly.

He takes off towards the commotion.
Fun as hell to play too!

Vakkler arrives, crossbow out and loaded. The kobold's eyes dart about, trying to make sense of what is happening. Then he raises the weapon to point at Taron.

Her ability damage is slowly healing.Emphasis on slowly. The nanites work, but nothing like as fast as a restoration spell.

[<<<< Pace <<<<]
Oh, what the heck, I'm a glutton for punishment. "Once more unto the breach...."
Having stepped outside after his meal, Fei was not privy to the events that unfolded around Ephebe. Upon hearing the sounds of yelling and crashing, he comes back in to find students milling about, and two in particular dragging a cook out and down the hall.
Fei makes to follow them, but screams down a side corridor catch his attention. He quickly breaks into a run and makes for the source of the noise at an abnormal speed...
narrator
Jiminy grimly dragged the poisoner through the halls, her feet occasionally sliding out from under her as she couldn't keep up. Fieri trotted after silently. She knew better than to try and talk to him at a time like this. He could feel that Ephebe was still alive, barely. And Taron was careening out of control. But he couldn't do anything about that. He was barely keeping himself in check as it was.
Ephebe
Ephebe looked around curiously. She recognized this place. She'd been here before. She was inside a clock, a golden clock. Everything here was gold. She was standing on a slowly spinning gear. She could hear the whirrs and clicks of the mechanism turning, always turning.
This is what she's seeing while she's unconscious.
Agarthian Storyteller
Then he raises the weapon to point at Taron.

Not to nit-pick.. okay, I'm nit-picking. You need a 25 perception check to see that the creature resembles Taron.
The creature doesn't seem to notice the crossbow bolt as it bounces off of it's frost covered hide. It closes with Nala and snaps at her motionless form again.

Nala shrieks again.
She's down to 33 hp and 15 Int. (That's mostly for my own personal recordkeeping.)
Fei, of the Sun Soul
Fei comes around the corner and sees the blue spiky creature attacking a student - apparently the same one that the ooze was 'attacking' earlier.
Not knowing if this is another one of her 'children' (??) (or why she was not moving), he closes with the creature to get it off of her.

"Give him a sec please sir. She deserves this."
He says with grim satisfaction

Well, Krays was enjoying Nala getting an asswhooping, so it was only at Vakkler's "urgency" he actually did something immediate
Ephebe
A golden shape moved among the clockworks, too big for her to see, and she found herself looking into an enormous golden eye.
"Am I dead?" she asked, thinking that was the only logical explanation for why she was standing here looking at the eye of Kronos.
No, not yet, but you will be soon if you do not take care...I would not like that. I have plans for you...
The gear underneath her dissolved and she was falling through the sands of an enormous hourglass, down and down and down until she fell back into darkness.
Nasima Shearskye
Nasima is sort of lurking around outside the healer's office, waiting for updates on Ephebe's condition when she hears yelling and hissing a ways down the hall, followed by the distinctive yell of Mr. Professor Relkav. She pauses. The kobold engineer (...what does he teach, anyway? oh gods I hope I don't ever have a class with him!) was intimidating enough when he was just glaring at people all the time (it's like he's yelling at you with his eyes), she wasn't sure she could be around him when he was actually yelling.
Suddenly movement catches her eye and she turns to see Jiminy approaching with a cook. "What th-James what's going on? What are you doing here? Ephebe, she's gonna be okay, it's just going slowly. Y-your mom's in there...why do you look like that? You're scaring me. What's happened? Did someone else get poisoned?"
