voidworm and pipefox would be how I'd do it or maybe one of those and imp
or voidworm and bonded object

the voidworm hovering beside his hat lets out a chirp

Meet Arco, Daddy said I made him

Pipe fox and void worm!
That would be adorable.
I'm doing that in my next gestalt game...

This is the perfect game to do something unusual or weird, or wonky. I say go as wild as you can for a familiar.

A spellbook for a wizard's familliar seems completely fine to me

like an animated object spellbook with familiar stats on top of that? maybe providing a +2 on int based skills when referenced, for say a half hour

could definitely work

"I'm Morire, and this" as he hauls up a chained book, with a huge lock on the center of the cover... "is Conoscenza..." He says, producing a key from under his robes...

Conoscenza

Male Human-Reaper/obitu Death Mage 11/oracle 1/grim reaper 10

"cool" the boy's eyes glow green "my dad has lotsa books that look like that, but he won't let me read them"
this pre-roleplay is amusing

Human Black Mage 10 MP: 98/98 / Witch 10 SP: 98/98

The boy's eyes flash poison green in response, the color of his voidworm shifts as well... "you are dead." he says involuntarily... then blinks and shakes his head... "aren't you....?"

Detect Undead

Male Human-Reaper/obitu Death Mage 11/oracle 1/grim reaper 10

"uh, sorta? I guess, why?"
you would have gotten a much more interesting response from deathwatch, but detect undead says: yes... no... yes.... yes.... no.. yes

"That's odd... Arco gives me things that show me things , tell me things that I don't know...." his familliar makes a squelchy growl

Female awww, but that would be telling unknown

I have very little time before class. I'll get in what posts I can. I would have had much more time, but internet connection was being stubborn. :(

Female awww, but that would be telling unknown

Morire is okay so far. Still needs work before approval. Like finishing basic stats and having a background. :)

Does the schools ability to reshape itself based on need only affect official students/teachers, or any being present within in its walls?

It does change as needed to the students and staff, and not necessarily to others, but it is a sentient thing and might do changing on its own if it thinks it should/wants to.
Why?

Wouldn't You like to Know?

It likes me... I understand it....

How exactly does it not know you exist? Because if it did, you probably wouldn't any more...

Wouldn't You like to Know?

......?

It does know I exist... I just said it likes me...

Thanks Lyn, I'm currently undecided on the Statistics on my character...

Background, is in progress.

But why? What reason does it have to like you?
You shot one of its kids and it can't send you to detention or deal with you.

I haven't harmed the building itself, and I don't litter :)

Yes you do. You're leaving paper on all my doors and pretending to be my teachers and leave random organs in peoples rooms.
It doesn't matter if you haven't blown anything up. You're still a menace to the people it protects.
And you still haven't addressed the fact that you shot one of my students and terrorised several others.
I can't think of a reason outside of you being a player character that it still allows you to do things.

Wouldn't You like to Know?

Paper on doors.... Hmm... yes, because that's the same as littering...

Pretending to be a teacher. Yup.

I gave her a heart... or three... it was valentines day :)

I shot him because he deserved it :p

Besides Jiminy has given me the OK to hang around.... :P

also You can't stop me. :p

I call leaving useless paper everywhere littering.

We don't have saints to have a St.Valentine's day with.

Try that one in court and we'll see how long you last.

Jiminy isn't a teacher and he was never one of my favorite students to begin with.

There's an astronomical difference between liking you and not being able to stop you myself.

In reference to the school and the mask wearer, rooms probably change around you just to annoy you

The paper is a warning about me. Ergo not useless...

Also.

Why?

if the castle has decided it doesn't like you, it doesn't like you,
I'd assume the hearts and the assaults and you being outside of it's power are the primary offences

Tyrants never do like those outside their power do they?

Yes. It is entirely the cat's fault how it behaves.

This is not sarcasm.

Grushdeva du kalt misht

Yes... Monkeygod, I am saying that my character acting how he was raised to act, trained to act, and extremely capable of acting... is a cop out...

your level of insight blows me away... such knowledge, such understanding... just... amazing

Female awww, but that would be telling unknown

Enough. I have enough drama with my class schedule. I don't need you guys dredging up old drama you've been over many times here.

DK, people not liking your villain is a sign you're playing it right. Take it as a compliment and move on.

Human Black Mage 10 MP: 98/98 / Witch 10 SP: 98/98

Morire first revealed that he had magical potential at the age of six, when he created Arcobaleno Nero, or "Arco" as the child dubbed him.

and created globes of colorful light for his own amusement,

His father, a young (late twenties) wizard of no real noteworthiness, by the name of Bastion Merius, was startled by his son's prowess and natural ability...

His mother, a young witch who was quite well known as a good luck charm of sorts in the area, (healer and savior of children, animals, helping in birthing, and other duties)

Even together, the child's learning rate was too fast... he mastered cantrips instinctively, his voidworm companion assisting him. He got his hands on a nearly empty tome... and his parents were very curious as to what would happen with the book... and the child bonded with it... giving it a personality and decorations...

the parents became concerned when Morire would leave the room without the book, and the book would turn pages of its own accord, or make whispering rustles...

The parents knew that he had to learn control... but didn't know where to turn... but on the child's eighth birthday.. a letter in the mail.

Avalon Academy, Invites your son, Morire, to attend and learn control over his natural and innate power.

[ooc] Good backstory? bad? [ooc]

Yes, I think that is a good backstory for Morire. I'm totally good with it. :)

Thank you Lynora

Lynora, Can I get a time or date when you would like Morire to appear?

F Human image Oracle (life) 4

too far away for you to have met Kim (she is from the town and is to young to have journeyed that far away.)
