I suspect once I'm past the jaws, if I can stop my descent, it's trouble for the beast. Gunser goes from sea-prince to fish-bone, while the worm prays for a storm giant that knows the Heimlich Maneuver.

If you go with the 38, it's exactly what I healed. :)

Oil-soaked, the napthic scent rising and denying Gunser what air lingered in the beast's great mouth, the sailor pondered and plotted, the oar would make a fine fishbone...

And then the beast yawned.

The oar would make a fine torch, too.

Silly of me, I know, to imagine that anything I did would actually help.

Gunser, having failed to wedge his oar and keep from being swallowed, and having somehow actually been bitten again in the process, tries to arrest his fall through the beast with his spiked gauntlet, angling the arm against the wall of the throat, driving the spikes in, and drawing his switchblade. He set to work on the viscera, trying to make a hole he could force the oar into. One good twist, and he'd have air. And if he had air, this thing was dead...

Hey, maybe the worm really misses all the Mexican he ate when he was in the archmage's tequila bottle, and he's acclimatized to el fuego picante. But it did seem to me that yawning in a lungful of fire would do more than let him just calmly swallow my toon.

The vanara moves towards the worm at a blinding pace, closing the distance between them with a few hops before he jumps up and attempts to slice the worm in a downward stroke.

Gah, my post was eaten by the boards and I didn't notice. Curses! Also, I think you can have multiple creatures swallowed at once--unsure. Personally, I would add the swallowed creatures sizes together to see if they exceed the creature's size (e.g. two medium = 1 large, if the opponent is large, it can't take two mediums but is able to take one medium and one small, three smalls, etc.) but the rules are ambiguous.

HP: 53/99

Mizaru tries to dodge the bite but the worm strikes true and the vanara is left bleeding from where the teeth pierced him. He bellows in rage, dashing around the worm and raking his weapon in its skin along the way.

That last 41 will put him to 51 points of damage, 6 HP left, but that 48 points until he's dead, and he doesn't stop until he's dead. He can heal, but I think he's got to focus on getting out.

Mizaru soon recovers and jumps back from where the worm disappeared, calming down from his rage now that his opponent disappeared. With a clear head, he runs towards his backpack to take out a small vial and quickly downing its contents.

He looks heavily wounded from the fight with the worm, blood flowing freely and his strength weakened.

Drinking an Antitoxin! Shall I roll until I get those 3 consecutive fort saves or does someone have a neutralize poison or some other handy thing?
