Liette is going to be MIA for a few days. The events of her last post take place over about four days. Abigail would know that Liette has family in Kenabres and the d'Argents family home is in Old Kenabres near the city center. She'll be there for almost the whole stay in the city.
@Jelani: I'm contemplating doing some revision to Liette via retraining which will eat up some more of her money and time. I'm thinking about swapping out her Gundlinger levels for fighter with the trench fighter archetype. Would this be acceptable? I

Well we do have that artifact we were going to trade with Mendev/Church of Iomedae. I am pretty sure htey would be willing to trade such a thing for arranging a deal. We are in the crusade so it is definetly something the outsiders would be interested in helping with. Some other form of RPing the aquiring help could be possible.
Other option would be leadership feat. If assume that Cohort can be replaced by get you Cohort level-1 CR creature at 11 when we can get the feat at the earliest unless retraining we could get Cr 9 creature as our "steed" for lack of better word.
Anyways more clear cut reason for making this post. I haven't edited my profile yet since want to be done with the shopping spree before that. But now with our party composition changing. Could I get the full number of people(or their AC's) who want daily buffs and what if so? Mage armor is probably the only one I have. I would just like to just mark them off from the sheet and not worry about it more than that.
Thaddeus has the Phantom Chariot spell, which'll move at a speed of 100ft, a credible alternative to whatever air elemental we convince to fly us. The chariots won't be able to fly- though they'll be able to water walk at his current level.
Any acquiring of outsider slaves will have to be justified by published mechanics, or some extensive and well written RP.

The thing's a minor artifact, that's not the kind of weapon you can just sell off. As soon as it becomes known that it's in Kenabres, several factions will be most interested in it.

As Nathaniel was my previous character, I do realize that asking you to describe him might seem like self-aggrandizement; but it's very important to Thaddeus and his backstory, and he doesn't require much. Feel free to just summarize what you tell him if you don't feel up to anything else.
Thaddeus - You don't qualify for flyby attack, and I don't see how it would be useful to you at all. Is that a typo?

@DM Jelani- Ah, I forgot that one was a monster feat. I argued to myself that Thaddeus qualified as he has Overland Flight. It's useful as it allows much more flexibility when moving and casting.
You need a permanent fly speed to get it, so flight from a spell won't do it. Sorry.

Does being able to have Overland Flight active on me for 24hrs count, perchance? To use precedent, like with Nathaniel. He can have Flyby attack because he has a fly speed he is capable of keeping up for 24hrs. It means he doesn't get the use of the feat when he doesn't have his shell (and his Fly Speed) up, but he does get use of it otherwise.
No problem with the statblock.
How exactly are you getting overland flight for 24 hours? Also, I'd still say no.
Nathaniel's flight wasn't something he spent a resource to turn on or off, it was part of his character (yes, not there without the eidolon. But there was specific clarification that synths could take feats they only qualify for in the suit and lose them when not suited). Having a magical means of flight is enough to qualify you for ranks in the fly skill, but it's not the same as having a fly speed in my book. If you get Wings of Flying or an equivalent item that gives you permanently available flight I'd say you can take the feat and use it as long as you have the item.
Hmm I can't fault your reasoning. I'll switch the feat for something else.

I'm not 100% sold on my purchases yet, but I'll try to have a final list up tomorrow and also join the events at the keep, depending on what day of our stay in Kenebres they occur on.
Liette, I don't see any reason not to assume that the day we all meet is one that you are in town for.
I mean, when you first got there, you all passed out from exhaustion presumably. The next day, taking care of selling loot and purchases would probably take another full two days at least. So I'm assuming that the current tavern scene is taking place about three, maybe four days after the group arrived back in town.
Viorel would like to stay for a week. That allows his to research the spell(not sure if that is possible on the road.) And we can use a lot of scrying on our wayward giant that we let live and on any persons we happen to get knowledge of via said scrying.
Okay, I've narrowed down my purchases to:

This leaves Liette with 13,974.50 gold.
I could spend 10,000 to get the banner, which would prevent us from getting fatigued when force marching, meaning we could effectively travel for 22 hours per day without stop.
Alternately, I could get Liette a wand of sanctify weapons which aligns all weapons in a 20-foot burst to penetrate DR/evil.
Was anyone else aside from Liette formerly having trouble with alignment-based DR?

Since we weren't in any hurry I figured a month would be good downtime. It gives us a chance to re-arm for the mission, get some custom items crafted and also really come up with a battle plan. We definitely need to get rod of the mace and figure out what our next goal is in the Worldwound.
Maybe we can also research the fey we made a contract with to find out if she's totally banaynays or not too.
If I recall correctly from the glab, using the library was a full days work.(that was before the ring allowing extra time) But with a month we could even take 20. So with a quick look around 35 total in any relevant skills, not counting possible bonuses that the library itself could have or aid another action. So probably about as much info as we can get via knowledge check.
Though this won't have come out in game yet, Tiknesr's familiar grants Commune 1/week at CL 12, so 12 yes/no questions per week.
Also Tiknesr has a high int and many knowledge skills.

Given that Ark's in the hospital, I'm going to interject Liette into the tavern scene but worm Thaddeaus out, implying that Liette bumped into him on the way in and already had her conversation with him. Then Thaddeus and I can flashback their interaction once he's better.
Did we still have Nathaniel's tophat? I know it fluttered down after he was killed. I was thinking of giving it to his father as a "this is all that was left" sort of symbol, so he'd have something to bury. That is, if everyone's cool with parting with it.
@Jelani: When I take Sigmund on as a cohort, next level, I'm going to strip the gear he has to NPC value and presume that the lost possessions had to be sold off to accommodate for all of his medical care. Does that sound feasible?
