Brom: mainly so whatever's out there can't see us as well. Ah, nevermind, you're right- they're probably dwarves. You can have pretty good vision outside at night, though, when the moon's around. I've plenty of experience with that, but it depends on the GM as to how it's handled.

Well you can apparently click and drag the icon for the characters around.. lol! At least I can for Fenn...

Plus it measures out your movement and displays it on screen! VERY COOL! :)

to make a map like I did.
go to dungeongrid.com and log in with either face book or google account.
click on My Game boards in the upper right corner.
In the dropdown menu click create a new board.
this creates a blank board.
Left clicking on the board gives you options like change the dimisions of the board, and painting it.
to create a player or enemy token simply find the picture you want to use for the token and drag it onto the game board.
A box will pop up that lets you adjust the characteristics of the token.
There is no way to make walls or anything like that so maps have to be kept pretty simple. That is all there is too it really.

I never got the impression that goblins were smart enough to pull a trick like the one with the reeds. They always seemed like more the Jokers of the fantasy setting. no plan just chaos.

But, goblins are very cunning and trickery is their stock and trade. They like to make others afraid...especially larger foes with their cunning as they know they are small and individually weak... but they want to be feared more than anything... because THEY are more often than not afraid of everything bigger then them. They kinda have a racial 'small-man's' disease... they have a BIG chip on their shoulder and want everyone to fear them despite their size. Which is why Fenn keeps harping on how tiny they are to hit mentally where it hurts them the most... their size and self-image of their size.

I don't know... been waiting on DM Chronicler to post something. But Fenn and Skully have already left.. Brom is free to do what ever he wants to do...


I was giving Legainn a couple days to post. We can continue to wait or move along, up to the group.

Well it has been some time since she posted... much as I'd hate to do it - I agree we should recruit for another healer. Maybe she'll post at some point and give us a head's up... but we shouldn't have to wait for her.

If we wait too long for Legainn then we run the risk of the game dying. Have you sent her a PM? Try PMing her and also start looking for a replacement. You should NPC her until we find out what is going on or we find a replacement that way we can push on.

So to recap we've basically taken a job from a dwarf in town to come to this manor, that we just came across, to pick something up?

Moving at 20 in armor I'll generally assume I'll bring up the rear.


That's the jist, yes. Currently, Fenn (ranger) and Skully (thief) are out scouting and Brom (fighter), Quolamin (wizard), and yourself are waiting on them to return.
