Copied this from the game-play thread. It's why Kastarr did an unarmed attack rather than use his club. I don't have Improved Unarmed Strike, so would not normally try to punch anything. I don't like to provoke AoOs if I don't have to. I assumed the slam attack would not provoke. That particular skeleton is down, so the it doesn't make any difference to me, but I thought I should explain why I did what I did. (Rolled d4 for damage.)

Additionally, they are immune to fear effects, gain a +10 bonus on climb checks (and a climb speed of 20 feet), and they gain a +5 bonus on Acrobatics and Stealth checks. I hope you don't mind that I made your animal companion into a dinosaur. It is just the first thing I thought about. If you had plans for a different animal, go ahead and retcon it.

I'm goin' to California. Doing a road tour of the PCH. I don't know how much internet I'll have access to, so my posting may become spotty, to non-existent.
I just wanted to check in here. I think a good number of us are by the door ready to get going with the last room. I was hoping to get this character into some Gameday IV stuff, but it's looking like that might not pan out.

After the adventure, Ahkenethys will try to recruit Nigel for the Scarab Sages, as per one of the goals of the Faction Journal Cards. (Recruit a named NPC scholar, archaeologist, or similar figure to join the Scarab Sages. Recruitment requires a Diplomacy or Knowledge (local) check with a DC equal to 15 plus your character level.)
Fatham could probably get that goal too if he wanted to help.
