This'll be fun :D Sounds like you want to introduce people in a different way (stopping the flow of people from the sky so soon? :P ) So I'll wait to write up an intro. Any hints so I can get started?? :)

As to the discussion of PC genders, I more often end up playing males. I like to switch it up when it works for the character though.

I was merely saying it so no one was under the impression that I was IRL a Dhampir seductress. LOL

I am going to get my spells all setup now, and then I will work on my background. What kind of detail would you like in character Backgrounds?

Halv, detail can be as precise as you want it to be. You can come up with it in advance, or make it up as you go along.

As for drop point 2, I'm toying with a couple of ideas. Anyone else is free to step in at any time, too, with theirs.

I was thinking a ritual grove about two day's travel away, or starting you in some ruins.

All the new players for now, I mean.

I have finished Halvettica, fiendish vixen offspring of a long extinct house of vampires.

Crunch and backstory awaiting approval

Greetings. I have a concept for this game which I've been hesitant to submit. In brief, he's a 12 year old boy who has (through misadventure) been granted the arcane powers of a long dead Sorcerer. The reason I've hesitated is because...well...he's level 15. That's on the upper limit of this game's power level. So I'd completely understand if such a character wasn't welcome here. The idea behind him is that he's a good, honest kid, who's absolutely terrified of the power he now possesses. Thus, he does his best to use as little magic as possible. Unless backed into a corner, he won't venture beyond minor spells; And even then, only around people who already know he can use them. Also, I'm planning to make his wealth value way lower than standard. He'll likely possess only a few standard items (like a Headband of Charisma) that he found near the Sorcerer's body. With any luck, these factors will stop him from being disruptive to the campaign.

But even so, this is still a powerful character. I'm not sure if he belongs here. Thoughts?

So TET, sounds like you're thinking a "drop-in off-screen and run into the group" kind of thing? That's fine for me. I'll get started on an intro and keep an eye on here so you can cue us in. I'll try not to make it too long! :P

I also want to throw this out there; if someone else wants to take over your new group's dming and they have a solid plan, that's okay.

As for the level 15 twelve-year-old, I don't know if that's going to fly right now. A level 5 or 6 sorcerer with that power level might fit into the new group, but I'm not sure.

That's pretty much the answer I expected. I just thought I'd ask, on the off chance. This is the only campaign I've seen where such a concept would even be considered (let alone accepted). In a standard level 15 adventure, characters are expected to 'pull their weight'; Not act like frightened Commoners.

I would consider it.
I just wouldn't let it be a full level 15. It's too...
Erm..
It would usurp the status of main character from everyone else, in some ways... at least that's what I can see happening.

Heh... apparently you haven't read many of my posts yet...

I didn't say I'd try very hard ;)

Eliah, you and the Orc cookie can pm me one, but know I'm going to a variable place for a while. I don't know how the internet is going to be...

Liberty's Edge

PM sent, thanks

I guess the DM has limited availability, is this going away then?

Liberty's Edge

Not sure... sent my PM but haven't heard back from him :S

Not going away, no... just on a very brief hiatus. I'd guess a weekish max.

The Trout does not abandon people.

Trout is going to another country for school so things will be kinda quiet.

Update on the Trout. She has made it to Costa Rica safely but was having problems connecting to the internet. She sadly it would seem only has access to the interwebs at the college. It may take a week or so before she is back because she needs time to settle in. When she does post again it will probably be only once or twice a day if even that much due to she is away to study. As Niu pointed out though Trout does not abandon people ever, she will be back. Worst case scenario she is gone the full 12 weeks, but as she said at the beginning. This is an open gm type thread everyone is welcome to GM.

Finally PM'd Trout.

I'd offer to GM, but I've only done a few PFS scenarios and I'm not comfortable making up a story from scratch yet. That, and grad school takes up most of my time =/

I'll keep an eye on this thread :D

My boyfriend is working on getting my charger back so I can use my computer here.

Yay!

This looks like fun!

Do you have room for a Cloaker (level 1 Rogue) in your demiplane, once the game resumes?

Scarab Sages

Hello. A person told me that this would be a great place to play a Nagaji Ranger? If not then that's fine; I am just asking since the person sent me here.

Well currently the game is on pause while the GM is not able to get the most stable internet connection as she is studying abroad for the time being. Once the game resumes though anything is possible!

But I am going to need help dming for sure if I get this many players.

Is this closed to new players or can anyone join in?

GM is in a tough spot for posting and is very spotty but when she comes back to the States it should be more consistent. Anyone can join but it may take a while.

Right now I need an apprentice or associate gm to help accommodate new arrivals rather than more players.
