Hey all, just a quick update:

This week was the final week for my second job. I am at peace with this, and quite happy that several of my evenings are free again. I do hope to translate this into more time to post, we will see

My wife is likely going to be getting promoted soon. I am hoping this will not disrupt things too badly, but I will still be closer to my own computer should I have to start packing stuff up to move somewhere.

I hope to bring all of my games current this week, and I am still committed to them. Thanks again for your patience, it has been a very long winter.

(kinda) good news: More time to prep the house for moving. We will be moving one way or another. We have been priced right outta Cape Cod. This place is a mothafukker when it comes to making ends meet.

Lol. Plenty of crime on Cape Cod. They just up the patrols when the rich tourists are in town. You'll never get to the real 1%ers. They're all behind private security guarded gates.

I thought I failed horribly as a Dungeon Master this past weekend, but they all seemed to love it. (Some details in the Vive le Galt? thread). My father's pretty much up to pre-stroke speed, although I don't think his shot has recovered. My friend Omar the Arab Terrorist*-turned-Union-Organizer moved in with the Black Goblin, so that's been fun. I got a big retrocheck when the UPS contract was finally approved; of course, I then had to dump twice that amount into the maintenance of the Doodlemobile, but, hey, style ain't cheap.

Hmm, what else? My commie club is poised to become the biggest commie club in the US (not that big a deal, believe me) due to our comrades-in-Seattle's role in pushing through a $15/hr minimum wage, even if the Democrats and the trade union bureaucrats diluted it and watered it down. Vive le Galt!

So I put in an offer on a house in Brockton. The offer after some negotiation was accepted. We have the house inspection tomorrow and hoping that we get the house and the loan and everything goes through.

We can user all the good karma to go our way one friend has offered up sacrifices to the old gods of Salem for me. I have said prayers but any well wishes and the like are very welcome.

I am just busy cooking food. I dropped the Hess job, but I am wondering if I might have dropped the other instead. Lots of busy stuff: Long hours, birthdays, one pup scratched his eye and needed several trips to the vet, yadda yadda fukkin yadda.

Our loan was accepted now it is a matter of paper work at this point. So We are pretty excited.
