A faint wrinkle appears between Chandi's brows as the miscreants express gratitude for healing, but she shakes off the surprise. "Aiding one another makes the whole team stronger and improves our chance of survival. And, I suppose, treasure," she preaches. "Any obvious way forward?"

Geygar finds 200 gold in the dead folks pockets. The coins are octagonal and heavy, with a symbolized spider on one side and the visage of a Drow female on the other.
The caster male has a rapier, wand and a spellbook on his person. The fighter males have a mithril shirt, a mithril shield, a rapier, 2 potions, a hand crossbow and three small ampules of a purplish fluid marked with a spider symbol each.
The woman who became a ice pop was wearing a mithril chain shirt. She has an exquisite dagger, and a scroll case on her. The floating woman had a key and a wand on her person as well. The one she had been using on the party.
At the western end of the room are five small casks of pickled rothé sausage, four sacks of mushroom flour, and two kegs of mushroom ale. Alongside the supplies is a locked iron strongbox (Open Lock DC 30), .

Eddin moves from corpse to corpse, rummaging through the belongings of each, occasionally pulling a face. Stopping at the body of the male spellcaster, he makes an exaggerated show of pocketing the three small ampules of purplish fluid before moving on, whistling a sentimental tune.
As he finishes making his rounds, Eddin gestures to Ash and winks.
"Oh boy... those coins sure do look heavy. I mean, really heavy. I can't tell you how glad I am to have friends like you to carry them for me, especially after I saved all of you from certain death. I mean..."
He trails off, spotting the cache at the western end of the room, which he begins searching, immediately smashing open one of the casks.
"Well, I'll be danged, if it ain't pickled sausage, just like grandma used to make. Don't mind if I do."
Snacking on reeking preserved meat, he then picks up one of the kegs, cutting a small hole in the butt with his kukri and giving its contents a sniff.
"I knew it. These weirdos were holding out on us. I call dibs. Oh, and by the way, that little strongbox is mine too. I called it first. And, as you know, I'm a master locksmith, so I'll be able to get it open in no time."
After lifting the keg over his head and thoroughly dousing himself with ale, actually managing to get some of it in his mouth, he sets to work on the strongbox, alternating between taking bites of pickled sausage and attempting to open the well-locked box by smashing it against the wall.

"See? THAT's How ya' do it! Honestly, what you all would do without me is a mystery. Seriously."
"DIBS my pointy ears,..."
He rubs his fingers together briskly and carefully opens the chest,...

Eddin slaps Ash on the back with enough force to nearly knock the elf over.
"Nice job, buddy, that almost looked professional. Oh, and thanks for helping me open my chest. You can help yourself to whatever's left over when I'm done. Now, you won't mind if I..." Eddin says as he reaches down into the strongbox and grabs two heaping handfuls of gold and platinum coins.
"You know, there was this one time years ago when I was digging in this lady's garden, and I found a little box of gold coins. I was about to run back into the house to tell her about it, but then I remembered why I was digging in the garden..."

"You will need it to start your new lives after this adventure is over," Chandi replies. "I will take no share. I prefer you divide it up after we finish so you remain alive to help to the end. Also, if you fight to the death, you will not receive a share anyway."

At this, Eddin nearly doubles over laughing.
"'New lives?' 'Over?' Did you just use those words together in the same sentence? Gosh dang it, I knew all along you were a comedian under all that weird gray paint. Oh, that just made my day. You slay me..."
Geygar 'Ash' Yates
The elf slaps at Eddin's hand as it reaches towards the chest. Then rolls his eyes as the fighter all but dives into the chest anyway.
"I appreciate you offering to carry my loot, but that's not really necessary." Ash says dryly.
The elf eyes Eddin's back while clearly imagining sharp objects sticking out of it.
The elf rolls his eyes again at Eddin's story, and snorts a laugh at Chandi's comment.
"I volunteer HIM as tribute."
"Well, since Big, Brawny and Brainless is offering to carry my,... erm,... our loot for us, I guess I'll just take a peek ahead."
The elf gives Eddin's back one final glance, gives a small smile at something only he seems to see, and stalks out of the cave and presumably towards the other exit,...

Ash skulks off into the shadows. The next chamber is a catacomb. Graves are carved into its sides, pigeonhole-style. A few bones poke out of several. It looks fairly uninteresting, unless there are grave goods to filch. There is a tunnel heading off to the south out of the catacomb
Geygar 'Ash' Yates
The thought of possible shinies hidden in the grave-holes are almost too tempting to pass up.
Almost.
But the thought of digging through all of that makes the elf's nose wrinkle in distaste. He didn't mind a little blood on his hands, or a LOT of blood on his hands, figuratively or literally. But for a moment his prim and proper upbringing reared it's ugly head and went 'EW!'.
Besides, such tasks were SO much easier, and enjoyable, when working alone. Without the time constraints of dealing with a murderous hyperactive man-child, or a meticulously impatient nanny with a magical leash.
Ash takes another look around the chamber for traps (ALWAYS a good way to know there is something valuable nearby),...

Ash carefully checks the room. He doesn’t see any obvious traps, but as he reaches the midpoint of the room he hears a sudden rattling. Bones start to fall from the dusty burial holes in a dozen spots. As they fall from the holes, the various cracked yellow bones begin to knit themselves together into coherent figures.
Twelve skeletons are forming. You have one round of actions then you will have to roll initiative assuming you don’t retreat

Ash shakes his head.
"Blasted undead. NO respect for Elvish skill! Some days I don't know why I bother. Oh yeah. I like breathing."
As tempting as it is to run through the chamber towards the next one, and let his 'friends' deal with the skellies, Our elvish rogue is afraid that just maybe, they would end up following him instead. And taking out ALL of the skeletons, without letting the others at least get to play a little bit, would be selfish of him. (The thought that he couldn't take them all out never crosses his mind, of course. ;P
Ash leans forward, as if to dash fleetly onward. Then rolls his eyes sighs dramatically.
"Warn the others. MAN this 'team player' bit is getting old fast!" Teh elf complains as he turns in place and dashes back the way he came. Still silent as his shadow.
A few moments later, A voice says from behind Eddin (JUST far enough away to be out of reach of blade swing.)
"Well, the GOOD news is I found some more playmates for ya! The bad news is, they have NO respect for Elvish skills of hiding and silence. The REALLY bad news is, they're coming this way,..." Ash finishes, taking another step farther behind Eddin.

"What the heck are you talking about? I was trying to be stealthy, then you had to go off an make a ton of noise, and now you come running back saying you brought..."
A light seems to go on in Eddin's head as the noise of rattling bones comes closer, and he draws his sword and dagger.
"Oh... wait, yeah... OK, skeletons. Got it, never mind, that makes more sense than what I was thinking of. Man, this is such a cliché. Next time you see something shiny, I hope it's a pit full of gem-encrusted spikes..."
Geygar 'Ash' Yates
"OH trust me. When I find one of THOSE you'll be the FIRST one I show it to,..."
"Undead. WHY'D it have to be UNdead? Do you how frustrating it is to try and kill something that you've already killed?!?" Geygar complains bitterly as he swings out his crossbow.
"Come and get some boneheads!"
