Star Wars: Chronicles is a Star Wars RPG campaign using the Edge of the Empire/Age of Rebellion/Force and Destiny rules from Fantasy Flight Games (https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/products/#/universe/star-wars).

The concept of this campaign is episodic (taking place after the Battle of Yavin, during the time of the Episode 4-6 movies), similar to the style of the Star Wars: Rebels television series. The characters will be making a living for themselves any way they can as well as taking the odd job from the Rebel Alliance to further the aims of the Rebellion.

Posted my reply to Juviest in the wrong spot, very busy here today.

"Ok, fall in line. Me, Thrask, Rann, Djebelle, Jospi, Juviest. We run into anyone we try to take them out quick and quiet. Quick has priority if they look like they'll raise an alarm." She looks at Djebelle. "Maybe 'convince' them if we can." She moves out, heavy blaster rifle at the ready. The door stops her, and she nods Jospi forward.

computers roll =4S, 1T, and one Triumph!

The Corellian gets to work, slicing into the door's lock. "Got it...got it...GOT IT!" He jacks out, beaming. "Opened LT. What's more, I managed to set all the locked doors from here to the generator to open for you!"

Kara gives him a nod. "Good work, Jospi. Let's move, everyone."

I added the map key to my status bar above. You are in room 23 the main generators are in room 14 and the hanger bay is 19

After you pass the airlock you enter a room which was once a maintenance shop. nothing remains in this totally wrecked chamber except the temporary airlock you just entered through.

Kara moves quickly through the wrecked shop. Pausing only to take a glance over her shoulder and make sure the others are back there. She stops at the door to the long hall and carefully looks down the hall each way. If the coast is clear, she will motion for the others to follow, and head for the room to the right. Room 9. She whispers in to the comms, "Heading for that room on the right. I don't want to get caught in the long hall on the left. If we run into anything in that room, we have more room to maneuver."

The hall is long and currency clear of activity. Something is a little odd about how quiet it seems.

"Hey, I ain't gonna complain about it being quiet, but I thought yo... Imperials gonna got a lot more personnel, especially in here. Coming up to the room.", says Juviest, drawing his other pistol and rushing forwards as well. "Trandoshan, you wanna take point on this one?", says Juviest as he point to the door.


As the others talk, Arannis reaches into the Force, allowing it to become his eyes and ears. But as he tries to sense for any life around them, he finds that he cannot, or more precisely he will not, as what he feels when he opens himself to the Force is a strange chill, a cold associated with the Dark Side. And though it does offer power, Rann is not willing to pay the price for it.

Thrask grinned "I relish the idea of killing more of those Stormtroopers, but I will admit if I lead the party into the room there will be no chance of talking our way out of this one." he said waiting to see if the others wished him to still lead knowing this.

You rush across the hall to enter what was once living quarters. Overturned bunks, clothes hastily tossed aside — it's obvious the research station residents were totally surprised by the Imperial attack. This large open chamber has beds laid out in rows, barrack style. Other than the disarray and the door exit to the north there is nothing seemingly of note in the room.

Kara takes cover by the far door, while the others take a quick look about. Once it's determined there is nothing more to be done in this room, she peaks into the next hallway.

You see another long hallway with several openings and a group of storm troopers to the left. As soon as you see them you quickly duck back in to the door but one trooper does a double take as he may have glimpsed your peek.

Kara eases the safety off of the big Czerka Arms heavy blaster. Crouched in the small hall with her back to the wall, she whispers over her shoulder to Thrask. Trouble. Stormtroopers down the hall. May have seen me."

Did I see how many?

She takes a quick peek again, this time from the floor level as she crawls over to the hallway opening on her stomach.

Juviest nods and draws his blasters with a swift motion. "Just say when, LT." He readies himself, moving closer to Kara and leans on the wall.

Thrask smiles as he hears the news. He puts a clawed hand on her shoulder before she sneaks off to double check. He was more then a little ready to break some faces. He hissed out his words in a bit of a whisper "If we need to be quiet about this just give me the signal when they are rounding and I'll gladly slip a blade in each of their throats." he said licking his lips.

As you peek around to corner again you count 4 troopers and a sergeant milling at the 4 way intersection the halls. the hall leading from room 15

They seem to be acting normally as if they did not see you the first time.


"This may very well not require any... throat slitting, Thrask," Rann points out in a soft voice. Still, he keeps his pistol at the ready nevertheless.

Kara inches back and takes a knee, still facing the hall. She looks back over her shoulder at Rann and Djebelle. "Can you hide us as we cross the hall?"

Djebelle shakes her head. "Not from that many, sorry. And they're stormtroopers, I don't think I'd get close enough to be able to talk to them."

Thrask scratches at the knife still in his chest. He hisses softly "Perhaps we could coax them over and kill them silently, then our former Imperial can coax the rest over through their comms?" he asked curiously.

Any ideas, maybe a diversion from the intersecting hall or some stealth across the hallway? Or there is always the bloodshed path.

Kara sighs. They were running out of time. "As usual," she thought bitterly. To the others, she whispers: "Get ready to cross when they move out, or get ready to fight if they don't buy it. If it goes bad, I'm going to need your help fast, so come in hot."

She stands up and makes an attempt to 'straighten up' her armor. She slings the heavy blaster rifle and checks the time. "I'm going to try to bluff them into moving. It probably won't work, but you never know. Whatever happens," she says specifically to Rann and Djebelle, "remember the mission, get those explosives planted." then she steps into the hall.

"You there! Sergeant!' she calls, mustering all of the command she can in her voice. "Lieutenant Savyn, 3rd Commando, what's your name?"

I'm not going to roll just yet, because I haven't 'bluffed' yet. When I do, I was going to take +1B for being a former Imp, and maybe +1B for telling the truth about infiltrators in the base. Let me know, DM Xyro.

btw, I didn't state this, but I'm moving down the hall as I speak, getting away from where the rest of the group is.

"I'm ready, LT." Juviest leans on the wall, closing his eyes, and raising his pistols in the air. If we're lucky, she'd either convince them or terrify them to get out of here. I think it's a fifty-fifty chance of both.

The trooper squad turns quickly toward you as you confront them. The troopers look at the sergeant somewhat unsure as he moves toward you. "I, er, Yes Lieutenant I am Sgt Tilson. I did not realize your unit was on this rock. What can we do for you?"

so you are walking toward them briskly I assume and have passed the intersection on the way toward their position. As for the rolls, they may or may not be aware of infiltrators in the station but other troopers are clearing the verpine tunnels beneath the station so anything is possible.

"Sir. What can we do for you...sir." Kara snaps. "We may be on a god-forsaken rebel-loving rock, but we'll maintain military decorum Sergeant. As long as we are in the Empire."

The idea was to walk down to the left to the next intersection.

"Now. The 3rd helped crack this rock open, but that's intel you don't need to know. Suffice to say we are pulling out - orders just came down." She points down the hall towards the bay she had entered earlier. "I need you and your squad to head down to the landing bay. A research team has gone silent. We suspect there's something the verpine have cooked up for them. Keep your eyes open for an ambush, Sergeant Tilson, don't get yourself killed on this rock."

She snaps off a quick salute, then turns away. Kara hopes that she hears the troopers heading out.

Thrask listened quietly, his clawed hands gripping his weapons tightly. His muscles tensed as he waited for the all clear or the sound of them arguing with her.

The Sergeant returns the salute and turns to collect his squad. Before heading out he asks, "LT, should I call this in to control or will you?"

"Already done, Sergeant Tilson." Kara nods. "Good thinking, but I'm way ahead of you. Look sharp and keep your eyes open."

Kara stands in the middle of the intersection, waiting and watching. Her face a mask of calm, but inside she's ready to burst into action. She makes a show of checking her gear, but in reality is making sure she has quick access to a smoke grenade. You know - just in case.

As soon as the squad is out of sight, Kara lets out a sigh of relief. "Ok gang, let's move." She says over the comm as she jogs back to the rest of the group and quickly crosses the hall to the next room. Room 15

Realising that she is staring, Djebelle abruptly closes her mouth. No two ways about it, that was... ballsy. Wow. She mouths the word, and gives Kara a nod of respect, one seasoned liar to another.

As you cross the hall and past the four way intersection into the next chamber. This room houses the stations power converters which take excess energy and converts it for use by the stations secondary systems.

Juviest lets a small smile on his face. "Huh.", he grunts approvingly at the lieutenant. Stepping into the room, he takes a look on the power converters on the wall. "I'd rig those up to blow too, frankly. I'd hate for them to send a signal warning the bigwigs what happened here." He tips his hat up with the barrel of his blaster. "How much time do you think we have before those kids realize you've played them?", he inquires Kara.

"Not much. They'll get to the hangar, look around a while, then call it in. Once they do that, it'll hit the fan. We have to hurry."

Are these charges pre-set? Meaning we place them and then just set the timer?

She leads the way out of the converter room (Room 15) to the generator room. (Room 14) On the way, she unslings her heavy blaster rifle. Looking over shoulder, she grins at the others.

"It's about to get real, folks."

Thrask looks a bit sad at the prospect of a good fight gone bad. He looks at the power converters. "If you'd like, I could stand by and break these when I feel the boom" he said as he ran a hand over one and gave it a tiny little test tug to see how secure it is.

Just trying to get a feel of if he even could yank them out of the wall. Basically just looking for a difficulty to break em or find out if it's impossible.


"Now is about to get real? Because so far things have gone swimmingly I take it," Arannis remarks with a chuckle before pausing for a moment and thinking. "Well, actually, they have, have they not?"

He nudges Thrask then. "You do know what this means, right? Our luck is about to give any time now."

they require a mechanics check to set the timer.

You don't want to be on board the station when you feel the boom. You may be able to tear out some connectors but that would surly bring some techs around to investigate...

Thrask, I don't think you want to be around when the boom comes. It was my understanding that it will wreck the whole station. Is that the case? Am I seeing it wrong?

Correct, you want to be off the station when it goes boom!

Juviest grunts at Crane. "That's just about as foreboding a sentence as 'I've got a bad feeling about this.'. [b]"And I'll try to be out of the asteroid field when that blows up, let alone the room. I doubt even you're that tough, Trandoshan.", he sends a grim smile to Thrask.

He stands next to the station and begins eyeballing it. "I can try and set it up to blow some five minutes away from the main blast. It'll keep 'em distracted from the main power station, and give it a better chance to blow up."

When given the go, Roll is below. Obeying the chain of command in enemy lines is pretty damn crucial.

seeing how ou have limited explosives, the main target is in the next room, and you failed the roll lets say you realized you should put them on the main generator. re-roll at will

This base, like most Verpine colonies, uses a boron power generator. The generator sits unattended in one corner atop a meter-thick slab of permacite, with two duplicate computer stations facing it. A pressure pipe leads directly from the generator, across the ceiling, and to the power converter in the room beyond. A quick glance lets you know right away the you will need all 4 det charges to to destroy the generator.

i did not see an explosives skill per se but it seems suff like mines etc use the mechanic skill.
